Default Livin' It Up: Homeless Style
Livin' It Up: Homeless Style

I wish inspired to do this because my friend, who plays Sims 2, is doing this challenge: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=335033
For Sims 2 and I thought for Sims 3, it'd be fun but some of the rules would obviously need to be changed.

Setup
- Create one Sim - They may be either male or female, it's up to you.
- NO children whatsoever - You're poor and homeless, children is really the last thing you need.
- Unlike the other challenge you must earn §35,000. - Sims 3 is easier to earn money in my opinion, and I'm changing it around anyway.
- Your Sim may get a job, but until they have §10,000 they may only have a part time job. I figure once they have §10,000 they'll be able to afford classes and such to help their skills.
- You may only start with §150 - You can do this by "familyfunds {Last Name Here} 150

Where Do I Live?
- Since this will be your active household and gameplay you can really choose any size lot you'd like, as long as it's empty of course.

Rules
- You may not put anything on your land. You're only allowed six things, no matter the size, into your inventory.
- That means no beds, showers, etc on your land. There are plenty of places to find that kinda stuff.
- If you fall in love and invite someone to live with you, you may only take half of what they have. So lets say you have §100 and you invite someone to live with you and they have §1,000. You have to do "familyfunds {Familys Last Name} 600" Get it?
- Oh, and if you have someone move in with you, and they have a job. Guess who has to quit it?
- You cannot use your cell phone to call the taxi unless the game does it automatically, like if you live to far away from where you are going. Otherwise you can walk your broke ass there
- You can spend the night on community lots if you'd like, but you may only sleep on benches. So if you make a personal community lot with a bed, you cannot use that bed. Sorry, benches only
- OH! And please no traveling, if you have World Adventures that is.

What If I Die...
- I will give you ONE chance to restart your game from your last save if you die. So save often.
- Otherwise you will have to start the challenge over from scratch, sorry ;D

Point System
+ 500pts for Girlfriends/Boyfriends
+ 250pts for Romantic Interests
+ 100pts for Best Friends
+ 50pts for Friends

+ 1,000pts for every §10,000.
+ 500pts for every §5,000

- 100pts for every enemy.
- 10pts for every day that it takes you to get to §35,000+

Enjoy, and have fun!
Suggestions welcome and pictures are appreciated
Once I get started with some good pictures, and such.
Mine shall be posted :]

So after a little bit of playing and planning I bring you Lucas.
Sad enough, I already forgot his last name >___<

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-413.jpg

He's got a little bit of chub but he doesn't mind playing on the swings in the park

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-416.jpg

He got bored and decided to fish.
He caught to tiny minnows which he could sell for §5 a piece which gave him some extra cash, which he really needed!

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-424.jpg

Than he met a girl, a local in fact, by the name of Ayesha.
They soon began to become friends and Lucas earned 50pts for having a friend. Yay!

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-426.jpg

But one can only be hungry for so long.
Lucky for him, so family left out their picnic basket. Hehe.

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-429.jpg

Finally, he had to crash.
What better place than the bench in the park?

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-435.jpg

Than he went to the gym, and it helped him slim down a bit :]

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-438.jpg

And after all that, he was able to clean off the blood on his lips and comb his hair over, to look somewhat decent.

Before:

After:

And finally, Lucas had to keep working out.
He wanted to stay in shape!

http://images.cameronbingham.com/Th...eenshot-450.jpg

Than Lucas got even more lucky because his good friend Ayesha took a stop by the gym, without Lucas even knowing! It wasn't long before they were holding hands...

Obviously, I'm not near done, and he only has a total of +110 pts. So anyway, if you're interested in the challenge, or are doing it please post your pictures :]

Yes you can survive in the park and gym, and if you rummage trash cans at the two lots on the hill (the giant ones in SV) I promise in 10-12 sim days you COULD buy a mansin just off that stuff.

Well, I gave it a try and it was incredibly easy. I befriended a rich person and usually stayed at there house most the time until I got kicked out. Then, I would go to work.

Maybe a change of the rules would suffice.
