Oh boy! I requested this a month or two ago but I didn't know if there was any interest in fixing the lighting.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I don't know if you did this because of my request or not but let me say how very very much I appreciate this. This has been something that has bothered me since BS first came out. It really makes me feel so happy to have it fixed!!

thank you for the added light! it works fine except that white colored clothes and light skins do glow from the intense light. i agree with the others that a tad reduction in the lighting would help. but again, thanks for the improvement!

Try this

How to modify level of lighting

- Start SimPE and open wes_h´s file

It will look like this.

1) Highlight a line
2)Change 8 to a lower number
3)Hit Commit

Go on from 1 with a new line until you have done all 5 ... then finish with Save in the Files menu

Result --From 0.8 to 0.5

YES! Completely needed, this was. Previously, I just changed the background to a ligher color, and then the lighting was brighter. Thankyou for this! It will make using BodyShop so much better!

Thank you Wes_h, thank you a million! For making this mod AND being bothered enugh to adjust lighting levels for those who wanted it less bright (me including). It will come very handy.

that was what i really need..thank you sooo much for this
edit:I tested it and it works great!
By the way, don't know if it's technically possible but it would be great if you could also fix the darkness which appears when hitting F3 and spinning the sim around.

Thanks, it's brilliant! The extra bright version is perfect. Now I can finally tell which skin tone looks right on my sims before loading up the game.
