Default New Mod: Sims move AWAY from the dishwasher after putting their plate in

When sims use the dishwasher, they put a dish in and then just STAND THERE, directly in front of the dishwasher, blocking access for anyone else who wants to use it. I've hacked the dishwasher so that they'll walk a step or two away, freeing up the dishwasher so someone else can use it.

If you have a large family, some sims will still become impatient and will wash dishes in the sink. How long they wait before choosing a new object to wash their dish isn't a property of the dishwasher, so I couldn't fix it just by hacking the dishwasher.

The dishwasher has also been hacked to break less, and since I, personally, think a kitchen WITH a dishwasher is better than that same kitchen withOUT a dishwasher, I've also given it a Room Score of 2, instead of the 0 it usually has.

Edited to add: Since sims wash their dishes in the sink if someone is using the dishwasher, I've also made a version of the kitchen sink that forces sims to take a step or two away from the sink instead of blocking it. The sink also breaks a lot less than the regular sink. The sink download is on the same page as the dishwasher and is installed the same way.

INSTALLATION: Unzip the folder and put the CoryleaLessCrowdingDishwasher.iff file in the Downloads folder of your Sims 1 game. (It's okay to make a subfolder in the Downloads folder if you want to organize things.)

I've used this in my game with no trouble, but if it gives you problems, just delete it.

I've used a magic cookie to prevent conflicts, so this shouldn't conflict with an object made by another modder.

You can get the dishwasher at http://corylea.com/Sims%201%20Less%...Dishwasher.html

My mods are always free, and my site doesn't ask for anything -- no registration or any of that crap. Your browser might tell you that my site is "not secure," but since you aren't giving me anything -- my site doesn't ask for information or money or anything at all -- it doesn't NEED to be secure; it's just a plain old download.

I hope you enjoy this!

Thanks to @Daleylife, who suggested this mod. The dishwasher pile-up bothered me, too, but it never occurred to me that I could fix it, so thanks for the suggestion!

I make mods for my own use, but I go to all the trouble of uploading them in an attempt to make my fellow simmers happy. If you like the mod, please say so! I don't get mail at corylea.com, but you can leave a comment in this thread; I'll be checking it frequently.

I hope you'll enjoy the mod!

I have a chronic illness that greatly limits me, so posting all the stuff I've made will take awhile, but I appreciate your interest!
