It's a great mod, I've already used it with lots of pleasure but now I'm stuck with the same crash problem. I'm going to try to fix it anyways because otherwise my neighbourhood will be mostly unplayable but for those who are interested: it is worth it!
EDIT: I fixed it with the neigbourhood camera mod from TheJessaChannel which you can find here https://www.dropbox.com/s/xjtpv71b2...Camera.zip?dl=0 , the other files should work properly
Gosh, I'm so happy now!
EDITEDIT: Apparently the LiveCameraNoFade can also give you crashes
But my game is now still working

I found a fix for the crash that happens to a select number of people including myself. I only tested this out with the LiveCamera, but I'm sure it can work with the others as well.
Simply copy the zoom setting from the enhanced gameplay camera's text document. Which should look like this.
zoom 7 (150 100 75 60 45 35 25 15 8 2)
fov (45 45 45 45 45 45 45 45 45 45)
pitch (20 20 20 20 20 18 15 10 5 0) (85 85 80 80 75 75 70 70 65 65)
clip (1.0 0.9 0.8 0.7 0.6 0.5 0.4 0.3 0.2 0.1) (2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000)
The original game's camera options looks like this:
zoom 1 (45 40 25 15 8 3)
fov (45 45 45 45 45 45)
pitch (0 -1 -1 -3 1.5 2.5) (87 87 87 87 87 87)
clip (1.0 0.8 0.6 0.4 0.2 0.1) (2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000)
Open up the original games camera text document and delete the existing zoom settings (as shown above) and paste in the zoom setting from the enhanced gameplay camera.
This if you forgot:
zoom 7 (150 100 75 60 45 35 25 15 8 2)
fov (45 45 45 45 45 45 45 45 45 45)
pitch (20 20 20 20 20 18 15 10 5 0) (85 85 80 80 75 75 70 70 65 65)
clip (1.0 0.9 0.8 0.7 0.6 0.5 0.4 0.3 0.2 0.1) (2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000 2000)
and save.
Then you're done! No more crashes!

As a quick note, these values also work for the Sims Castaway, and should work for the other Stories spinoffs, if that's why you're here. I manually edited the files to match the ones in your camera, since some sections were in different order and I feared it would bork things up, but it works like a charm. Especially since with wider resolutions the face gets obscured by the UI, this allows the face to be above th UI, therefore sort of fixing the problem. I also edited the neighbourhood camera to match yours, apart from the constrain, which has two lines instead of one and I'm afraid of breaking it, but I'll report back if it is necessary to change that.
Edit: after editing the Live camera to match yours, it had several "zoom" lines, which I simply replaced with the one "zoom" line from your Live camera, and there seemed to be no problem whatsoever, so I went ahead and changed the "constraint" of the neighbourhood camera as well. There should be no problem.
