I - unfortunately - can't create hair by myself, but thanks to "God Delphy" now other people can :-)

Excuse my probably stupid question, but I have no clue how to make new hairs and I have only hairs from other people.
My question is: Could it be useful to convert custom hair replacementes into non-replacements? I have in mind a couple of hairs made time ago as replacements (sau and peggy, you know) and I'm thinking to make non-replacements by myself with your tool. Is it possible now?

nanisim - It could be used for that, yes, if you opened the files and extracted all the relevant resources (and were able to figure out what they all were - especially the separate LODs, which was which), but it's probably best for the creators to do that themselves so everyone doesn't have to do it individually.

I don't personally make meshes but I certainly appreciate all those wonderful Simmers out there that do! And I know a lot of people out there have been waiting for a program like this! You had to have been working on this since TS3 came out in the first place! Great work as always!!!

nice one Delphy, though i won't be using it as i have never messed with hair meshes, but a great tool no doubt for people who know what they're doing.
Great Acronym as well, lol!

I like work, it fascinates me.
I could sit & watch it all day!

I get this message everytime I click generate:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

And this is what the details of the error say:

"See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box."

Thank you for all the great tools!!!
You are making it almost too easy for me, I have been wanting to create hair for sims3 from the first time I loaded up the CAS and saw how the recoloring worked, as a complete mesh noob contemplating meshing for a program to new to have baby step tutorials I figured that I would have wait... however with your tool sets and your tutorials and a few dozen google tabs open it has been a pretty stress free learning experience thank you for all the time and effort you have put into modding community.

tomclinton: ...No. It specifically says 3.5 becuase it needs 3.5. Not 2.0. Not 3.0. Not 4.0. 3.5 only.

Seriously, follow the install instructions I posted up :P
