This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default [solved]Issue with room service
I searched for this but couldn't find anyone else mentioning it, and it made me wonder if there's something weird going on in my game. When my sims order room service, it's brought to the room and set on the table, and then the sims won't eat at the table because it's taking up the space. Is this normal? My sims pick up their plates and take them outside of the room to eat. Or one sim is able to eat at the table and the other sim eats outside. Is there a way to fix this so that they can sit at the same table together in the room? Or a way to make the npc put the food on a different table so both seats at dining table are free?

If it's a small table, then that's probably normal behavior. The serving platter takes up too much space, so there's not enough space to put down the plates.

This one fixes it for EAxis objects, including platters (not CC items, unsure about CC food if they use the EAxis platter?)- https://modthesims.info/d/287228/ma...inner-tray.html
It does offer a fix for CC objects too, if you don't mind editing in SimPE.

For dropping food in weird places, maybe this one can help? It doesn't spesifically say hotel lots, but "all lots" could mean hotels too.
