Thank you so much for this for a moment there I thought something was wrong with my graphics card. I didn't know the umbrella was actually broken it's weird that this feature is in the game to begin with.

Thanks for creating the mod and I really appreciate it. Would you be updating your mod for the latest EA patch v1.47? I can't imagine playing the rain effects without your mod.

There were definitely no changes from 1.42 to 1.47 that would affect this mod.

At first, I thought the near-constant breakage of umbrellas was being caused by a bug or conflict between my mods, lol. This mod is going to be one of my "must haves"!

My Sims umbrellas also break all the time. Fortunately some of them are witches, so they can magically upgrade them.
This mod is such a temptation! I usually make it a rule never to put any mods other than custom content, because it's so easy for the game to develop problems, especially with new expansions. It's the buggiest game, the slowest to load, with the most infuriating company behind it, but still I love it and will play no other.

EA only changed the settings in 1.50, so yes, this mod does work.
