why would you do that? you already have them in your game, this just replaces the old texture (also, my usage policy would prevent you from sharing your work if you did it that way)

I've been using this for a while now and I notice neon-bright nearly glowing spots where the dirty marks used to be. I see it's not on the texture, so I suspect there's something in the material definitions or something to cause it.

I'm not sure if fixing that is within the range of what you're comfortable messing with.

Thats....odd.

Did you check to see if its like that on the bumpmap? That shiny bit could be caused by that, if it is, I can fix it, if not, well, can we pretend that that Tide Bleach for Colors did its job a bit too well....?

I can't see any trace of it on the bumpmap either. Like I said, I suspect the culprit lies in Material definitions somewhere, but I don't know how to kill it.
Either way, I prefer clean glowing stains to green mossy ones. :D

Me again!Remember when I said I wanted child bunnies? You don't NEED to mesh!Download the Hippity Hoppity Bunny Suit from thesims2.ea.com for the body and recolour it.There's a bunny costume on this site.Download it and recolour the HEAD ONLY!Then upload. The reason I won't do it:I'm EXTREMELY,ULTRA,SUPER,DUPER CRAP AT RECOLOURING CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!

On second thoughts...I might do some crappy recolours of the meshes of the parts. But you do some too,in the social bunny colours.Just copy and paste the textures. I can't do that.Sorry if the last post sounded like a threat.I got a bit...crazy.

Request rejected.
Reason: Project sounded boring / not widely usable / im sick and not in the best mood.

It sounds like you could use this as a learning project, when you are passionate about something you try harder on it. (partly the reason i'm not going to do it, I don't really want bunnies in my game) You seem rather obsessed with bunnies, so I think you will do fine. Faylen has a bunch of tutorials for learning how to make decent clothing recolors, give it a shot!

Thank you so much for these. That poor abused bunny needed saving, and you did the job! Animal rights activists everywhere applaud you!

Thank you. What was EAxis thinking when they made social bunnies, anyways? And to make them neglect their hygiene, even worse. You're a god, Phae. Thanks.

Nice job on the .

But random question: is it possible to download the social buny putfit for an everyday sim?

I am asking because once I downloaded something, and I selected it in bodyshop. It showed up as the social bunny head, because I forgot to download the mesh. Ive tried to do this again, but this did not work. How do you get the social bunny as an everyday clothing/ head???

Please help me out. Thanks...

Funny post, btw

Thank you! I just couldn't stand looking at the thing before. You're a savior yourself!

Interesting that the bunny reminds people of so many possible references. I haven't seen Donnie Darko, but I thought of the velveteen rabbit too and also of the movie Harvey in which Jimmy Stewart had an imaginary friend who was a human-sized rabbit. My impression of the thing was that it was meant to be a well loved and well worn favorite childhood toy as imaginairy friend. It's been noted too that social bunnies appear on the kids' TV channel in the game. But I did always feel bad for the poor thing, thanks! When the freakish bunny-bear came out I really wished it had been a social bunny instead.
