Hi everyone!!!

i lurv doing challenges, so i thought to myself, why dont i create my own??

so here it is

object of the challenge:

create a kind of legacy ( at least 5 generations) of pets.
Try to include as many breeds as you can, while making every heir's family trees lead up to the first pets.

If you discover a really cool new breed, feel free to register it.

If you want to make a family legacy with it, you can.

the challange ends when the 5th heir is dead, or the family line dies out.


How to start:
Go into CAS and create a family with 2 pets (cat or dog ) of whichever breed you want. Roll for the starsign:


set a:156

set b:234

roll again

Set A:
1 Libra
2 Scorpio
3 Gemini
4 Leo
5 Aries
6 Cancer

Set B:
1 Taurus
2 Pisces
3 Sagittarius
4 Aquarius
5 Virgo
6 Capricorn

Create a sim as well. This sim is completely up to you. You choose the name, gender, looks, everything.

Return to the neighbourhood view.

buy a 4 by 5 lot, or a pre-made house.

give the sims a few necessities, such as a bed, a fridge, a tv and a book case.
buy the pets whatever they need.

stand back and let your pets thrive!

rules:

you can use money cheats such as kaching or motherlode, but -1 point if you use kaching and -5 points if you use motherlode. the only other cheat allowed is moveobjects for bugged items

you can use all aspiration items except for kibble of life and the elixir of life. normal life span!

you cannot delete tombstones.

pets can get jobs aswell

cant really think of anything else!

Scoring:

positive:
+1 each kitten/puppy born on premises
+2 every new breed discoverd
+1 every purebreed
+10 every generation
+5 every pet that has died naturally
+1 every pet that reaches elderhood

negative:
-5 every pet died of non natural cause
-4 every pet that runs away
-1 every pet sprayed by skunk

i cant really think of anything else


oh, yer if you have a familiar, ( sims 2 apartment life ) i THINK you can do this with it too, im not sure because i dont have it yet...

Any point for skills? Jobs? Like for reaching top level or something.. Also limiting lot size makes no sense to me. Why 4x5? Personally I prefer small houses and small lots, 2x2 is more than enough for me.
And another thing.. Money cheats give unfair advantage (better beds for example give the sims more time to spend and that means more training or whatever can be done) to some so I'd say set the budget for the family.

I'm actually already doing a very similar thing with my current legacy! I am on generation 3 with the cats at the moment

you can now have any siz lot you want.

+1 for every command learned
+2 for any behaviours learned
+10 for every pet that reaches the top of their career
+1 point for any skills learned by the sim
+5 for every pet that gets promoted

And also to broos suggestion,

after you buy ur lot, use the family funds cheat to narrow down ur cash to 1,500 simoleons ( no more cheats )

I didn't want Juliette to work so I made her dig for treasure until she had enough money to buy the necessary stuff


Bed wasn't one of those necessities


She got a bed next day after she found a treasure chest. As some other things. The cats have learned most of their behaviour skills and Whiskers also learned come here command.
