I wanted to use the mod that stops sims from constantly regenerating their profile picture, but it says it needs to patch the exe or be installed using RPC. I do use Sims2RPC but I can't find any documentation anywhere about what it means to install a .asi file that way. Googling just brings up posts celebrating it has the ability to do that but no instructions as to how?

And I don't understand tumblr and it makes me feel very old What happened to the good old days of RTFMs?

Can you link the mod? I think usually you just put it in the mods folder, but it should have instructions.

The .asi should just go into your installation files- [Installation Location]\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSBin or Fun with Pets\SP9\TSBin.

None of the other .asi files Lazy Duchess has created go there, they all go in the mods folder. I'm fairly certain that's where this one goes, too.

Sorry about the late response, but .asi mods go into your TSBin/mods folder, you'll find there will be other .asi files inside included with RPC.

That post is instructions for where to put a cracked exe, it's nothing to do with .asi files.
