OMG this Riverside town from the Beta version of The Sims 2 is brilliant and I've always wanted to play with that 3 story modern house where the Anderson family live for years since I first seen it on one of the early trailers back in 2003 :D

Ok, I LOVE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD! But, when I installed it, there weren't any hills on the certain sides like it showed in the pictures. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks in advance.

It was done that way because the mountains were getting in the way of the big lot next to them but if you want the mountains back just make a throw-away hood with the SC-4 and use Mootilda's program "Hood Replacer" and replace it with that one. http://modthesims.info/d/279992/hoo...an-24-2010.html

Omg, this is so, so awesome! I had already started to recreate some of the families by myself some time ago.
I found this thread by chance yesterday when engaging in some research about The Sims 2 Beta version. So it's great to see someone else has already done the work.
I can't wait to play with them and stir some drama!

How do you know the original names? I mean, where does this info come from?

I love this neighborhood.
It has been really fun to remodel all the houses and add to the families.

To me it is almost like Thsms204 had inside info when he did Riverside for all the info he had and how the sims look very close to what was on the internet at the time he made the org. Riverside hood and I use his info to make this fixed and clean version of Riverside with just the base game so everyone would be able to play it.

So I love this hood, however in both the Sub-Hood and Main-Hood versions, the Molyneux family is inaccessible for me every time. It crashes the game. Also, trying to remove them from their house via "move family to sim bin" it tells me to first enter the lot, however my game crashes every time I try to access the lot. Using the teleport option (Via simblender, as well as asking them to move in) from another lot also crashes the game.

What is suggested to do? Please HELP.

I am sorry you are having some problems but its not this hood, this hood is just a base game hood with no CC at all.
I just downloaded it and it loads up just fine for me.

You have something wrong in your game and you should go to the help thread and ask for help.

Could someone please tell me where I can find the Riverside hood made by Thsms204. please. Excuse my bad English, it's from a translator.

It was very corrupted because of deleting a lot of sims in it and is the why I remade it.

Assuming that I can't just make it a subhood without it being made for a subhood since Jawusa's excellent clean and empty neighbourhoods have different versions for replacement, non-default, subhood, etc., I may use the empty one, but also extract the Sims and make ancestors for them. I could just not play it or stick to the subhoods until I get to the Sims 2 era as well. I definitely want this to be included in what I'm doing since it's a recreation of an Eaxis hood. No offence at all to the people who've made their own custom neighbourhoods, but since I can't add them as subhoods, I want this one to be my main hood. If I use it, then this will be where my ancestors and my fictional characters' ancestors go, if I can fit them all in. I'm using every Sims 2 hood and doing ALL the ancestors, meaning I have to use ones not posted here, and may have to make up some of them.

I do wonder about people who've recreated the ancestors. Can't they just be extracted from the game with SimPE other than the ones made from the other games? Were the ancestors that are in The Sims 2 remade with that thumbnail method or were they just extracted. Extracting Sims shouldn't corrupt anything, right? I could take an extracted Sim and make a completely different character from them.

Edit: I just realized that Riverside Shopping is a subhood version and not a shopping district FOR Riverside. In that case, I can find someone's custom hood and make it the main hood OR make my own hood, which I probably wouldn't upload because the Sims wouldn't have specific stories.
