I've spent the last few days looking for something like this, and I know Chris Hatch made one to remove said button from the Sim Bin and one that removes it from the build and buy mode catalogue, both are mods which I am currently using as it avoids accidental corruption and deletion, but what I'm looking for is a mod/hack that does the same for the design mode. I find the delete button by default is placed in a very awkward position and I am honestly afraid I'll accidently click it resulting in lost CC.

Maybe @Chris Hatch made one for this too? But I can't seem to find it anywhere if he did.
