Just how bad is it when the camera gets stuck looking up? Does it go away if you save and restart or does it permanently bork your save in some way? I ask because I'm really tempted to mod this so I can get that feature back, because being able to look straight down is very useful from a building/real estate screenshot standpoint.

This mod is extremely useful. Thank you!

Another Question For You HP
Hey, there, HP, it's me again. First of all, I wanted to thank you for this very useful Mod . The camera angles in this game can be really frustrating at times. Have you noticed that when you're working on a lot, where there is a slope or a hill, such as a home built on top of a hilly area, as you try to pull back, to widen your view of a certain area - such as a patch of ground that you're using for a veggie garden - as you get near that hilly area or slope, the camera suddenly climbs upward, giving you a kind of arial view of the lot ! I'm currently working on such a lot. My Legacy family, now wealthy, have moved into a mansion that was once an old Nectary. The house itself, it built upon a hill, with several rows of terraces below, that encircle the house. I'm trying to transform what was formerly a patch of ground dedicated to the growing of exotic kinds of grapes that were used in Nectar-making, into a nice, large veggie patch. However, every time I back up the camera, for a wider view my vegetable patch, the camera suddenly climbs backward and upward at the same time, giving me a rooftop view of my veggie garden ! I'll find myself, turning, and rotating the camera, trying to get a closeup view of what I'm planting ( I'm trying to make nice, straight rows of veggie plants, and separating each kind of vegetable from the next. I like to be neat, LOL !), and only succeeding in getting newer and more distant arial views, as though I was actually standing on the rooftop of the mansion, looking down ! All this turning, and rotating, and turning again of the camera is not only very irritating, it's also making me seasick ! I've considered placing the garden on the opposite side of the house, but this is where the original designer of the lot built the pool, so there just isn't enough room. I could delete the pool, but it's a very, very nice one, and I really want to keep it where it is. So, my question is this: Do you know of anyone who can create a Mod that corrects this backward and upward climb of the camera angle, when work near a slope of a hillside? I would be eternally in this person's debt !

Does anyone know whether or not this works with 1.42 without causing issues?

This explains why cameramode was so difficult for me. I just assumed there was some horrific learning curve, or that I'd lost yet another 50 IQ points.

Thank you so much for this. I'm gonna add it and go practice using my cameramode now.

yeah a year later and I have patch 1.67 and just recently found out this doesn't work for high rise apartments now. Will you ever update it for the last patch 1.67?

Ugh, I was seriously hoping not to see this when I checked here. I literally just patched my game to 1.67. I guess it was really stupid of me not to check first if the mods I use had been updated -.- Where did HP go?

Thanks! I was looking for some improved camera precision and control. This seems to be just what I need.
