As a Louisiana Hurricane Katrina/Rita survivor, I really appreciate the fact that you added the background story with your downloads. We desperately need people to remember that we are still in need of help down here. When people hear about projects like this, they are more likely to not forget about us.

I can't thank you enough! I've added all of these to my game.

Absolutely lovely, all of them. Thank you so much... I'll never have to painfully erect roofs in starter homes again. This download is surely appreciated!

personally, i was in New Orleans,
and i think that Katrina is nothing to joke about,
great work and all,
but it's pretty horrible that you made a joke like that about the whole thing

awamberbuzzkill - I see nothing in Phae's post or in her Katrina Homes project whatsoever that implies she's attempting to make a joke about the whole Katrina thing - these are simply lovely little homes inspired by the extremely cute plans which are being used to rebuild after the disaster. I believe you're mistaken, as nobody has joked about it at all here.

These houses are really nice, thank you
unfortunatly for no apparent reason all my houses ended up L shaped and whenever i try not to build an L shaped house they looked horrible, eventually I have given up and explored houses on here, and I found all your houses were exactly what I wanted
so thanks again

Thanks for these! I live fairly close to New Orleans and know some people who could use these. Luckily, we just got the edge of the hurricane and were only out of power for a week and needed roof repairs. Many people around us lost a lot more than that and my heart goes out to them. It would break your heart to hear their stories. I only wish that none of you will ever have to experience the horrors that these people went through. And, please, let us not forget those who were hit in Mississippi. They actually got it worse than we did. New Orleans just got more attention.

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVA! I live in Long Beach Mississippi and you don't know how many people turned us down after Katrina just to work in New Orleans when I had not even a roof over my head. You need an award.

And thank you so much for the cottages. Even though I'm not a fan of the country-ish look (haha, yeah.. I'm from the south) I love the prices and that they're fair and spacey. Thank you!!

What adorable little houses! In my opinion, you did a fantastic job with all 25 of them.

Dear Phaenoh,

Thank you very much for the lovely small houses. We will be graduating college soon, and desperately needed a place to live. Our creator has been contemplating horrible fates for all of us. You see, she is playing Veronaville. She let all those teens age up at the same time, go to college, and fall in love. Each couple had a minimum of four children.
She was not looking forward to housing all of us, and was very afraid that Veronaville could not absorb us. She threatened to turn a bunch of us into townies (!) or let a satellite fall on us. She even downloaded the 'real sickness' hack from MATY, although she couldn't bring herself to install it.
So it is with sincere gratitude and weeping relief that we write to thank you. It is unbelievable that not only will we have beautiful little houses, but will be living at the seaside in Sand Simolean Point!
Again, thank you for your hard work. You have inspired our creator to show mercy!

Sincerely,
Bianca Monty's children: Veronica, Phoebe, Brandon, Bridget, Deirdre, and Carolyn

You are really good at creating awesome stuff for the Sims. I enjoy your mods and now I will enjoy your builds as well. I just downloaded the Sand Simolean Point terrain and I will use it carefully. Thank you for your hardwork.
