Default Will my laptop run the sims 4?
Long time browser, first time poster...
I've played sims 2 and 3 on my old laptop, but I haven't played either on my new one. I'm wondering if my laptop can play sims 4 (or even sims 3?)? I'm worried that my processor and graphics card are not good enough, but I'm really confused by the specs, sorry!

Operating system: Windows 8.1, 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-3517U CPU @ 1.9GHz 2.40GHz
RAM: 8GB
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 4000
Hard drive(s) capacity and speed: 1TB, not sure how to find the speed?

Thank you, I really appreciate anyone who helps!

I went to http://www.game-debate.com and put your system specs. the problem here is the graphics: that intel HD chip is barely above the minimum, CPU and RAM wise you are good to go. According to the site, you can run it on low or medium settings.

You're right about the CPU and RAM being good enough, but I would wait regarding low settings... it is just about possible that you might be able to play on low without damaging your laptop, but it's not likely, so... hang in, don't spend any money, wait until we have actual reviews of TS4 + no graphics card.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
