Since patch 1.63 I've been driven nuts by a problem which I've finally discovered is somehow related to The Box Of Seeds.
The problem was that leftovers would spoil the instant the sim takes a serving out of the fridge. Yet the food still in the fridge was perfectly fine.

I don't know why, but when I deleted The Box Of Seeds from the lot, my sim was finally able to grab a plate without it spoiling. There must be something about this box that is conflicting with food.

Edit: Update. Removing The Box Of Seeds did not prevent this same problem from occurring on another batch of food my sim cooked after I removed the box. So the box isn't really the cause. So why did deleting it work as a temporary fix?

*sigh*

to the poster above me - is that why things are spoiling? I have the exact same problem! I didn't realize it was the mod that's somehow affecting it - weird - but I've since deleted it and everything's working fine with the fridge. Sad, though, because this is extremely handy.

If you have a witch who uses the spell to clean everything, that causes food in the fridge to spoil the moment it's taken out.

Nope. Fresh Sim, human, was just baking cookies and the next day everything spoiled. :/ I took the mod out because of the update and assumed the food got fixed by installing 1.66 and not remove this mod. But this is a good bit to know - I'll make sure I'll take note when I make a witch next time.

Another update; I'm using the box now in a new game, with patch 1.67, and the spoiling problem has not come back. Taking leftovers out of the fridge is working fine now.

Maybe the problem was with patch 1.63, or maybe it was a corrupted neighborhood. I don't know.

I live in a corrupted neighborhood, but that's all of Detroit.

I'm just about to start testing on my 1.63 patch, I never patch up unless I have to :D

Cyberdodo said he uses the box with 1.67. I was intenting to download too, but saw there were no updates recently. Is it safe to use when all patched up? I love gardening but the micromanagement of fish/fruits/seeds - then cooking & "random horror missing best stuff" in game is SO annoying! If there are more people who share their experiences with 1.67 and the box i would appreciate it :-D

Firstof all, thanks heaps. I downloaded this to help sort my sims inventory while travelling, having subcategories in the inventory has been a godsend. However having multiple boxes can get confusing - is there any chance it could be made castable? That way, collected metals could go in the grey one, and relics could be red, or gold...

Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end.
