This house is officially awesome! This is exactly what I've been looking forward to, a modern family home. I would be ecstatic to have a house in a similar style but slightly larger, with 3-4 bedrooms .

It's great, but this house crashed the shit out of my game. You didn't have OFB in, did you?

Unquietmind: No, I don't have OfB -- this house was built with base game and NL only. Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

I figured out what the issue was, and it was something in a totally different house (hidden hack, possibly. I have no idea what that file was) that kept doing it. Sorry about my tone in the other post, but I was a bit frustrated at the time.

I'm having the same problem missessy. I downloaded this house, which is AWESOME! as are all plasticbox's houses!! They're amazing and so cute! I just make typical boring houses but these have so much more detail and I love it.
Anyway yeah the lake problem.. in the basement.. it's strange. Your sims can walk down there but I have no idea how to get rid of it!

Water in basement: this is because you're placing the lot too close to the shoreline. The game knows where the ground water level is, and sim basements aren't waterproof. Move it up the hill, that should solve the problem.
