I agree, not the most intuitive explination, but as far as I can tell, it's a sphere you put on the sim's head, and in comibnation with invisible genetics it'll look like a floating planet or Death Star.

Interesting idea...

I can already see a pretty cool application for this.... say you are making a sim movie/ photo shoot. Put this on an invisible sim, find a realistic galaxy or star background and...voila! A perfect space shot. Or put the wall and sim behind a window, so it looks like the other sims are looking out of their spaceship at the deathstar! Neat creation!

I get it...in the animal pack at this link http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=157373...is a toddler with a plain blue round head...you put these in (recolours, I suppose) and use an invisible body to create a sim that looks like a floating planet or death star thingy...pretty different and far out...thanks.

err sorry for the brief description :P. Yes they are head accesories kinda like masks.
I specially like how the eye ended up, it's particulary disturbing...

ah ive seen such a thing before ^^ it was a mask of a pumpkin head ... and with an invisible body it looked like a living scary pumpkin floating around
