Thank you everyone who have liked these sarees, With the response I am getting for this upload, I think the hardwork has really paid off, I have just came to know about the new sari mesh Bettye has created, INSHA-ALLAH I'll try to make new designs on that mesh now, and convert the old ones on that mesh too...

They are very tasteful and beautiful. but, as with most sari meshes out there, the people who make the meshes have no idea of what a sari is. A sari is a continuous length of cloth, wrapped. So the part coming to cover the breasts and going down the shoulder to hang on the back doesn't come out of nowhere, as is shown here, it's rather the same fabric as the "skirt", a continuation of it. This looks very fake!

Look at Aishwarya Rai in a sari here.

and here, where she has taken the back piece and brought it to the front:
http://www.aishwarya-spice.com/gall...0749&fullsize=1

On the following page (full of really gorgeous saris and lehenga cholis, that is skirt + top sets), look at the first two pictures, where she hasn't yet draped the material around her.
http://www.bollybite.com/2010/01/ne...onal-saree.html

In the following, you will see how draping makes some pleats on the behind. Don't be confused by the fact that it's done on the right side. In different parts of India, such as the Bengal, they do it like this, on the right.

Finally, here is an illustration of how a sari is wrapped. It might shed light.

They're really pretty, but I have Sims 3. Can you make some more, only in TS3 format? Thank you.

Thanks, they're pretty! But could you please make sleeved versions of them all? Traditional Indian clothing generally covers the shoulders.

Beautiful! Just so you know, it's 'sari', not 'saree'
