I'll say yes. You need 512 MB Ram if more than 5 EPs or SPs are installed at the same time, your processor is fast, what about your graphics card?

PHEW. That's lower than I expected. My new processor is 2.6 GHz and can run without lag in large houses with >8 sims, so I don't think it will be a problem.

Good good. I was starting to feel a bit nervous about the upcoming system requirements.. it would suck if the EP would be impossible to run on my computer, after I'd been looking forward to it for so long.

But everything still seems ok. I've always dealt with lags, so I guess it will even be worse this time - but I'm used to it..

Yay, even my old video card is still supported.. not that it matters that much, because I might get a new one soon!

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly;
what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Ouch... what a jump. 800 MHz to 1300MHz. Good thing I have 1600MHz of processor. I have 716MB of RAM, so thats not bad... I have (or had) 200Gz of Hard drive which lasted about two weeks before my sisters filled it with Winnie the Pooh games and anything ending in "________ Tycoon." But it should fit.

Thanks for the info!

Wow, I'm surprised that the requirements are only the same as Pets! I don't have to worry about EP system requirements with my new computer though. It loads the game in under five minutes even with all expansions+Family Fun Stuff and over 4 GB of downloads! :D

Please, please make sure that your computer has one of the graphics chips listed, and that it EXCEEDS the minimum requirements. Otherwise we will laugh at you when you find out the game will not work for you! If your computer does not meet these requirements, please DO NOT install the game onto your computer.
Also, the same advice applies for this EP as for every other:

Yes the game will run. Not good and you will get nice shiny red walls and floors all over the place, but it'll work. Don't ask how slow it will get...

But really, i don't think you should buy any game if you don't meet the requirements. It's just money down the drain.

That's not that high for an EP with some massive animations(weather),my PC can handle all EPs,I'm a bit sad that I probably can find only it in march-april the fastest(I got OFB after 3 months its released!The shops here sucked)

Depends on your graphics card. http://thesims2.ea.com/help/detail.php?help_id=280

I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.
