This style of house is pretty common in some parts of the world. Wish we had more of these in the States. I've always like the central outdoor gathering area. Thanks for sharing.

How did you get a fully-enclosed courtyard to be recognized as outside?

I created a 2-click high foundation which was open under the bathrooms at the back of the house, so that the courtyard is actually a part of the yard. Then, I raised the inside of the courtyard to full-height, so that the lighting would properly illuminate at night.
