You said that Motorhead got their name from their logo, but there is also a song by an older band, Hawkwind, called Motorhead. The way I heard it, the guy who wrote the song used to be in Hawkwind, got kicked out, and named his new band Motorhead so that the old band couldn't ever play his song again. Good story, but don't remember what magazine I read that in. Cheers.
