Oh...my...god...I am Australian, and I can tell you right now, this looks EXACTLY (minus the cellar, as 90% of Australian houses do not have one, and ours didn't) like the house I grew up in as a child! I am so impressed! I downloaded it straight away, thank you <3! MEMORIES!!

The house I grew up in was in a place called Carlingford in Sydney!

I used to live in a house JUST like this. Besides the cellar because yeah, what Elfykins said, Aussie houses don't really have them. Never seen one in my life actually.
But my house even had the same tiles and horrible green carpet!!! Only thing missing is the orange counter tops. LOL Got to love the 70s!

Love this house. Thankyou so much for this Aussie Icon. Yeah - orange counter tops needed, but everything else is just perfect! I wouldn't change a thing.

And that living room - I swear I've seen it in real life!

Thank you very much for the comments. And I was tossing up between babycrap green, bright orange, and yellow vinyl countertops. It seems I opted for the more conservative choice.

LOL has to be Orange counter tops! I actually like houses built back in the seventies, maybe not the selection of colours used at the time (although I do love Orange). Thank you for a great design, and a time warp back to the 70s

This is awesome. I love the old Aussie houses. Much nicer than the grey, Moroccan-style crapola they're putting up these days.
