I really like the idea of stealth stairs. They make a smaller house so much bigger. I DLed your A-frame 2x2 house and love it.

They call me The Seeker.
I've been searching low and high.

nice house numenor

i should try that stealth stairs thing

it could open up whole new directions for my buildings

You should never put a cap on violence!! Suppressing violent urges only leads to psycological internal violence! Got it!? If I were to use an analogy, I'd turn to yeast! The root of all bread making!!

Nitro: On the Exchange there are many wonderful tutorials on the stealth stairs, by SimMaster.
Look here:
http://thesims2.ea.com/mysimpage/up...sset_type=story

Basically, the stailth stairs are modular stairs built on a 1x1 space.

LOL! I am a human, so no surprise I smell like a human!
But it's a long time since I spoke Sindarin to anyone, and the second part of the phrase is obscure to me (something should be "beautiful", if I'm right...)

I've finally started my Journal. Information only, no questions.

My latest activity: CEP 9.2.0! - AnyGameStarter 2.1.1 (UPD) - Scriptorium v.2.2f - Photo & Plaques hide with walls - Magazine Rack (UPD) - Animated Windows Hack (UPD) - Custom Instrument Hack (UPD) - Drivable Cars Without Nightlife (UPD) - Courtesy Lights (FIX) - Custom Fence-Arches - Painting-TV - Smarter Lights (UPD)

I *DON'T* accept requests, sorry.

Eheheheh well, the first part "Lle holma ve' Edan" is, to be true, just picked from Grey Company's phrase book (wich, still being a great and useful work, is not 100% Sindarin nor Quenya - it is full of others inspiration to simplify and complete their constructs).

The second part is a little plain construct of mine, with a couple of Quenya particles to fill the gap in Sindarin about possessive pronouns.

Nan (but)
bâr (house) -lya (your)
naa (is)
bein (pretty or beautiful)

To tell the truth, a correct formulation would have been not so plain, like the stand alone "naa", wich is a little forced, but first of all in this way the phrase is more simple, and, most of all, at the time i had'nt much wish to look at my Sindarin docs to build a perfect phrase :P

In poche parole, me la cavo forse meglio con le lingue Tolkieniane che con l'inglese, ghghghgh. E comunque sei umano, quindi si, puzzi! :P

Thanks for the link to the tutorial, Ive never used a house with stealth stairs because I didnt know if they worked properly. Now that I know they do this house will be getting added to my neighbourhood.

I might even have a go at it myself.

Great starter house by the way.

You have to keep the costs low when you buy the furniture: only cheap items, including doors and windows, and floors and wallpapers (beware of the floor tiles that cost 12-13-14$ each!) . Building the walls themselves is not expensive.
