Thanks for making sure the carpets are stain-resistant. I can't quite tell if it's the residents or the caretaker's home cooking, but clearly, they're going to be needing practical carpets.

Got to have those stain resistant carpets. The care taker is Cassandra Goth so quite a change for her. Not that she knows that she is a clone.

Does this work as an apartment, a dorm, or something? Is the price a 'buy' price or a 'rent' price? Sorry for the silly question!

Edit: Nevermind, I saw the price, so I'm guessing this is the 'buy' price. It's a bit too much for my elders, even if they all came in with 20.000$ they still couldn't afford this

It's a residential lot so the price is to buy it. The dorm doors are so residents have private rooms. Sims claim a door and their portrait appears and they can lock it just like they do on a dorm, only sims don't disappear into their rooms. You could swap them out for apartment doors and change the rooms into separate apartment units if you want.

The elder's aren't meant to buy it a caretaker does. The elders just get moved in and choose a room. The care taker is there to cook and look after the place.

Hmm. I'm not really into the idea of a caretaker, but I really want a retirement home and this one is so pretty, so I'll guess I'll just try out those mortgage shrubs from Simlogical and pretend that paying back the mortgage is the 'rent' for the rooms. Anyways, this looks really nice and I'm looking forward to playing it
