Excellent work, and regarding the Sims 3, this might be the best tattoo set i've seen so far.

I was worried when I saw this on MS3B that it could come across as quite insensitive, but you did really well in conveying your respect for the important role these tattoos had in Maori culture. Thank you!

As a member of another culture that uses tattoos in this manner, well done. I have been waiting for some tattoos like these to show up, instead of the usual, empty "art" tattoos. Very well done.

Hey these are very cool. One point (from a Kiwi), Maori are not "tribal Indians". Lol they might find that description a bit weird.

As another Kiwi, I agree that the "tribal Indians" description is inaccurate. The tattoos themselves look incredible, though! I will enjoy having these in my game, once I get my pc back up and running, that is.

As a Kiwi of Maori descent I think you're taking the right-wing concept of cultural appropriation a little too seriously. Yes, some academics are incredibly racist and illiberal about how Maori culture (and other cultures) can be interpreted, and by who, but Maori are a robust and varied people and can be more casual and good humoured about tikanga than some of these academic dorks command. I wouldn't cater too readily to this authoritarian mindset about Maori culture that comes down from the rich iwi leadership and academics, no one set of people speak for all Maori.

Sure, it's weird to see a red moko, it's even wrong from a strictly traditional perspective, but some of us don't want to implement cultural blasphemy laws any more than we want to implement religious ones. (Edit: Also traditional moko isn't black anyway, it's a deep, dark green. Black moko are very modern).

Also, thanks! I love having these. I've been waiting for them a long, long time. What country does the scorpion come from? I know turtles and stingray well, (turtles don't appear in NZ art, too cold here) but I've never seen scorpions before. I'm just wondering where if there are lot in the Pacific somewhere, I never heard of them being out there before.
