Hi Grammapat, LOL you are funny. Glad that you caught on to the whole Tree Man thing. They are actually Treebeard from Lord of the Rings. I downloaded him again just before Ts2.com closed forever. He looks good extra tall but I prefer him short and squashy for this role.
I hope to get some more chapters posted tonight.
Thanks again for reading and looking forward to hearing what you think of the next chapters.

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 25 1/2
Welcome back to part 25 1/2.

The nurses and doctors following Brandy and Beau burst into the room.
Earlier Nurse Gretchen had asked the receptionist if she had seen Brandy Broke
and or her teenager son. The receptionist said "Yes, actually I did see Dustin
rushing his mother in a wheel chair down the hallway towards the morgue.
I thought he was just trying to cheer her up. Poor thing she has been through a lot",
stated the receptionist.
"Is there anything wrong?"
"Yes, I think maybe there is", added Nurse Gretchen, and she caught
the attention of Brandy's other attending doctors who happened to be
close by and overhear. Brandy's doctors were now alerted that Brandy
might be suffering a strong case of grief and mourning for her child that
was stillborn, they quickly followed into the morgue to help Brandy in her
hour of need.

When all the doctors burst into the room, they immediately noticed Beau in
the arms of Prince Valdir.
Together they Beau and Prince Valdir communicated to the room now full of
people. They were all quiet and watched for a moment in shock, and observed
the rose bush and now living infant that grew and glowed beneath it.

"Thirty days ago, I, Prince Valdir of Agrownia traveled here by mistake, I
did not intend to come here; it was a accident on my part. I caused the
death of one of yours and I wish to tell you how it happened and make
amends for what happened during my arrival.
Before the portal opened, I could see into this room, and I knew this was
not my destination. I meant to close the portal, but before I could, I was
caught and could not turn back. This is what happened:

Dr. Green was working the night shift in the morgue. He was also a
scientist, and had a small lab set up in the morgue, so that he could work
on his new artificial heart.

He worked tirelessly on his project; he had very little funding, but was
grateful for the quiet room in the morgue to work on his artificial
heart, that could potentially save millions of lives.

Nurse Linda had a huge crush on Dr. Green, and came to visit him often in
his lab/morgue. She was afraid of the morgue, but overcame her fears to
go and visit Dr. Green.

"Ok, now my precious cadaver, I will see if this heart will fit inside
of your chest nicely."

"How I wish that you were a living person, in which I could try out
my artificial heart, but for now we are stuck together. Are you ready, my
dear?" he spoke to the blue rubber cadaver, that simulated a human
corpse.

He inserted his artificial heart into the blue rubber cadaver. "Rats!"
he shouted. Still the valves are to small!"

He removed the fake heart and observed the lovely vision of
Nurse Linda entering the room. "Hello my darling. So nice to see you.
I will be with you in about twenty minutes." He promised, with a sly and
somewhat wolfish smile. "Yes, Doctor, I will be in the waiting room, " She
said teasingly, with a smile.

Dr. Green made some more adjustments to his artificial heart and then as
promised, turned his attention to the eager Nurse Linda.

"Have you missed me?" Nurse Linda asked.

Dr. Green looked deeply into Nurse Linda's eyes and said,

"Of course my Darling, like the stars miss the moon when it disappears
from the night sky."

"Oh, Doctor," she sighed. "Do you really mean it?"

"Do I really mean it?" Dr. Green answered her back, as he swept her into his arms.

"Let me show you how much I mean it." "Why Doctor, I think you
really do mean it." Nurse Linda giggled, she waited for him to
kiss her, hanging so willingly in his arms.

While the good doctor was enjoying the affections of the willing
Nurse Linda, he noticed that a corner of the room had started glowing
red.

He quickly let go of the lovely Nurse Linda and turned to observe this wonder.

The light grew brighter red. It seemed to beckon him to further investigate
it, to get closer to it.

"Where are you going, Dr.Green? No Doctor, please don't get any closer
to it!" Nurse Linda pleaded with him.

"At last!" Dr. Green said out loud. "At last, something exciting
in my life! I have waited all my life for something incredible like this to
happen to me."

Dr. Green did not hesitate, and walked right into the light. He was about
to turn around and see if Nurse Linda wanted to come with him,

but before he could, the light turned white,

and he vanished.

"Dr. Green? Where are you? Dr. Green, come back!"

"Dr. Green, please come back!" she shouted. Then she grew quiet the
lights started growing bright again.

"Dr. Green, is that you?" she said hopefully, as she watched the lights
getting brighter once again.

"Dr. Green, you must come back to me! Dr. Green!" she howled.

The howl quickly died in her throat. She watched in horror as a small
creature, unlike anything she had ever seen before, started appearing
through the light where her dear, Dr. Green has just disappeared.

The short, terrifying creature stepped out of the pulsing light,
and started walking towards Nurse Linda.

"Hello," said Prince Valdir, in a woodsy, gravely-sounding voice.
"I am Prince Valdir, can you understand me?" he asked the nurse.
"I mean you no harm, I am lost......"

Nurse Linda took one look at the small, tree-like being that came out of
the light, and she screamed hysterically."No, stay away from me! Stay away from me!"

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" she screamed, as the harmless creature
approached her, trying to speak to her in his particular, wooden-sounding
voice. "Stay back!" she continued to panic. She was extremely afraid and
desperately began backing up to get away, but she fell onto a lab table full
of glass beakers, test tubes, and various, sharp instruments. Falling onto
this table she received several, very deep, and soon-to-be mortal wounds.

In a total panic, she got up from all the broken glass, now covered in
her own blood.

On pure adrenaline, she ran for help.

She only made it as far as the parking lo,t where she died of her
injuries. That is when Prince Valdir decided it was best that he hide
until his rescue was obtained. There was only a small investigation in
the morgue. Dr. Green had been reported missing, and Nurse Linda's
death left as a mystery.

Beau and Prince Valdir ended the story, and then went on to explain that
Prince Valdir was trying to make amends by asking the "Great Creator
to restore this small baby's life. Prince Valdir was sorry for the loss
of the nurse. He did not wish to frighten her, and certainly not to death.
Prince Valdir then put Beau down, as the communication was complete and
now Sandsoom needed his assistance in the final phase of growing Rose
back to life.

At last after a few more prayers of praise to the Grand Creator, the
small, beautiful, baby girl grew up to the very top of the rose bush and
began to coo, as only a very precious baby can.

The rose bush gave off it's final, bright light as the process was completed
for the small baby girl.

"Oh my God!" Brandy gasped, as she approached the rose bush with
her small, baby girl on top of all the flowers. "Oh my God, thank You !
Thank You God, thank You so much for the life of my child." And she hugged
her baby girl close to her, taking in her scent that of course, smelled like the
sweetest of roses.

"She is so beautiful," Brandy gasped, tears streamed down her face and
on to the tiny baby's face, who only seemed to smile from her tiny face
at her mother.

Everyone in the room heard the same message. Beau and Prince Valdir had
showed them all the story telepathically.

Brandy hugged her living baby girl; she was in shock from the events that had just took place, but she was in no way losing her wits.

"How can I ever thank you? Brandy asked Sandsoom.

"It was not I, but my young Prince who requested that we ask for the
Grand Creator to grant your child's life. She will of course, have special
powers when she grows up concerning plants. One day, she may even be a
great one in helping to grow food for your whole world. Raise her well,
in the Light of the Grand Creator."

"But what about Dr. Green; where did he go?" Dr. Glenn asked Sandsoom.

"We do not know where your Dr. Green has gone - the door was only opening
when he stepped through. His location is unknown. It will take us great
efforts to try and locate him. Perhaps he is back in our world, but the
dimensions of Earth are many; it is hard to tell where he may have
gone. When we find him, we will send him back. I would ask all of you
not to speak of this event to anyone, except for among yourselves; your
world is not ready to travel through the dimensions, but now you have an
Ambassador to our world, Rose is now part of our people. And when she
grows, she will be able to find the doorway to our world once again."

Hi there Grammapat, thank you for your generosity. LOL I am proud to announce that in the fall I will be going back to school to get my G.E.D. As a military brat I have missed a lot of school. I did not realize just how much school I missed until I really started to write and post stories. I would very much like to know all the rules of writing. In fact after I get my G.E.D I plan to go and take a Creative Writing course at the community college. I have always been a writer and I plan to become a much better one.
Thanks again for reading and leaving a comment.

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 25 1/2 continued
Welcome back to the rest of part 25.

"Beau will also be an Ambassador to our world, and many others. As a
matter of fact, he could visit at anytime given his ability to tele-port;
that combined with his psychic and spiritual link with Prince Valdir, they
will always be in touch. But now, my dear Prince, it is time for us to
return to our own world, the door is now opening, and your father is
eagerly awaiting your return. You have been greatly missed." Sandsoom
announced.

Prince Valdir seemed to hesitate for a moment.
"It is time for us to leave, my Prince. The door is opening now.
Your father is waiting for you and has missed your greatly."
urged Sandsoom.

Everyone stood in awe, as the room began to gain a red glow to it,
then in the corner a bright, red light emanated, showing the location of
the doorway leading back to their world.

Beau was immediately upset about his friend having to leave so soon,
and insisted on a final hug from his friend, Prince Valdir.

Prince Valdir picked up Beau and gave him a final hug.

He then set him down and stepped into the doorway.

Prince Valdir turned around and said farewell to the people whom he had
briefly met. He knew that he would see some of them again. And then in a
flash of light, he was gone.

"This has been a really weird night," said Dr. Brooks.

Brandy, Beau, Dustin and Baby Rose watched while he disappeared.

Next to go was the Royal Guard Sandsoom, who gracefully walked
into the portal, waved farewell and disappeared in a flash of light.
Then all returned to normal, as if nothing weird had ever happened.

"Bye Bye, Sandsoom," said Beau. "Come back again," he said,
he waved bye bye.

Nurse Gretchen had a very strange look on her face. She was not sure if
she should tell her sister what really happened to Nurse Linda, or just let
it lie as it was.

All the people in the room looked at Brandy as the beautiful baby girl
in her arms started to give a little cry. She still smelled beautifully
like roses. Then they all decided to keep things quiet, and only discuss
these events between themselves.

"Ok, that is about the weirdest thing I have ever experienced in my life.
Dustin, do you think anything like that will ever happen again?"

"Well, we still have to open Dad's briefcase. I think we had better
do it soon too; it is starting to glow in the closet."

Officer SexyPants filed another report for the hospital, stating that
Nurse Linda's death was a accident, and Dr. Green was still missing and
wanted for further questioning regarding the case. The Death Certificate
for Baby Rose was destroyed, and replaced with a Certificate of Live Birth.
Brandy and her set of twins went home early the next morning.

The End of Part 25. Come back for Part 26. Thanks for reading.

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 26
The Brandy Broke Story , Part 26
January 29, 2012

Welcome back.

Brandy woke up around mid-morning, after falling into a exhausted
sleep when she returned with her newborn twin daughter Rose, from
the morgue. Brandy decided not to view her stillborn child after she
had been delivered. The doctor told her that the baby was very deformed
and had no chance for life beyond the stage that the baby had formed.
That was two days ago. And yet this morning Brandy woke to the
sound of two newborns, crying for attention.

'

Nurse Lilly came in right away and tended to the demanding cry of the
newborn twins. Skip Jr. quieted down quickly after a diaper change and
went back to sleep.
"My Goodness, what a beautiful baby girl you are, Rose." Nurse Lilly examined
her closely. She held in her hands the most beautiful, and extremely healthy
baby that Nurse Lilly had ever seen.
Baby Rose looked Nurse Lilly directly in the eyes, and gave her a very
intent look. One that caused Nurse Lilly to get a huge smile on her
face. She smiled because she felt like spring time was all around
her, while she looked at this little baby. Spring had always been Lilly's
favorite time of year. Lilly had been born in the spring. Her own
mother had named her Lilly because of all the lilies that were in bloom
the day she was born. They had always been her mother's favorite flower
and Lilly loved them also. Then she started to remember the beautiful
flower garden that her mother had planted. She remembered when she
was a small girl and she and her mother having a tea party in the garden
next to the lilies. Warm spring days she remembered. Lilly could feel the
sunshine on her face, and could smell the sweet scent of the air as she
enjoyed the memory. She gave a small laugh out loud, and came out of
her day dream.

"Oh you are a sweetie; bless you little one. I pray you do great things
in the world." Baby Rose gave a small coo, and was content to be put
back into the crib and go back to sleep.
"How are my babies?" Brandy asked Nurse Lilly.

Brandy felt rested, although very sore all over her body but she woke up to
see both of her babies alive and well. It all seemed like some strange
dream that she had awoken from or gone into. But now everything was
alright.
She looked over at the two cribs in her room, and confirmed her reality.

"Good morning Brandy. You have the most amazing babies.
They are a true miracle," said Nurse Lilly, in a awed voice.

"I love miracles; I will never forget how wonderful your babies are and
everything that has happened. Not ever," Nurse Lilly said, with a far
away look that reminded Brandy of an Easter egg hunt and small children
in a lovely garden, playing games.

Then Dr.Brooks came in early to check on Brandy ,and to say good bye.

"That was some night last night," Dr.Brooks declared in a quiet voice.

"Yes, but, I am so happy that I get to go home with both of my babies
now," replied Brandy.
"When I woke up a little while ago, I thought I was in some strange
dream until I looked over and saw two cribs with both of my babies in
them," Brandy told him, while he checked her stitches and checked her
heart beat.

"The Pediatrician gave both babies a clean bill of health, and you are
also getting one from me, so you can go home today. I will let the
nurses know and they will get started on the release forms for you and
the babies." Dr. Brooks told her.

Thank you Dr.Brooks," Brandy said with a surge of emotion and
threw herself into Dr.Brooks arms.
He enjoyed the hug from Brandy and found himself hoping to see
her again very soon.

"I will never forget your kindness during all of this." Brandy told him,
with tears in her eyes.

"Good morning!" said Tasia brightly. "Ready to go home, Brandy?
Or do you two need another minute?" She teased the two, for jumping
out of each others arms when she entered the room.
All the nurses that were on shift and had been caring for Brandy the
last two days came into say goodbye and wish them well.

Brandy was so glad to be going home, and her mom was the first one
to greet her when she arrived home.

Once inside, it was Grandma Coral's turn to have a snuggle and a good
look at baby Rose. She thought her granddaughter was dead two days
ago,but by a miracle, she now held baby Rose in her arms for the very first
time.

Skip Jr. had a bottle and then was content to be placed in his crib for
a nice, long nap.

Baby Rose snuggled with Grandma a little longer, and then she also
was laid down for a nap.

Brandy felt like being up and made a simple lunch of mac-n-cheese.
"Lunch is ready!" she called to everybody to come and eat.

As soon as Grandpa and Dustin sat down to the table, Dustin started
asking questions. "Where have you two been for the last two years?
Last time we seen or heard from you, Mom was pregnant with Beau."

"Yes, Mom, Dad - now that we have some time, please share your
adventures with us," said Brandy, as she finished serving everybody,
and sat down at the table.

"Yes Herb, I think this is a very good time to tell Brandy where we have
been for nearly two years."

Herb suddenly seemed very hungry and tried to stuff his mouth full of
food quickly, so he would not have to answer the question just asked.

"Well Grandpa, are you going to tell us?" Dustin prodded, after a few
quiet moments.

"Yeah Dad, what is the big secret?" Brandy inquired.
"OK, here is the story. For the first year that we were missing, we were
on a expedition and got lost in the jungle, but then we were found
and held captive by the "Gotta Boogy Tribe."
The Queen of the "Gotta Boogy Tribe" held me as her mating partner until
she became pregnant."

"Coool!!!!! Grandpa, how long were you held "Captive?" Dustin
asked, with his face aglow with interest.

"Seems like forever," Grandpa Herb said, remembering the village in his mind.

Queen Hepsha's mother Rawna, was the Tribal Witch Doctor.
She came to her daughter and told her that she had seen the future and
had the read the stars. In a vision, she had seen Queen Hepsha was to
bare a child from a white man. In a few days, the white man would be
found lost and wandering by the "Sacred Water Falls." The child from
such a union would become a Great Leader and Warrior of their people one
day. Queen Hepsha was pleased by such a prediction.

Queen Hepsha was eager to please her mother, who was a powerful
witch doctor, and her prophesies always came true.
Queen Hepsha was also a ambitious woman and eager for her Tribe to
be successful and powerful.

Queen Hepsha's oldest daughter Mala, was skeptical about the vision from
her grandmother. As punishment for her doubt, Mala was sent with two
of her servants and two warriors to go and wait by the "Sacred
Waterfall" and bring back the one foretold. She knew that it was best not
to return at all if she never found such a man.

Queen Hepsha watched her daughter leave the next morning with a smile
on her face, and she dreamed of the Great Leader and Warrior that she
would bare in the future.

Mala journeyed for four days with her servants and two warriors,
to get to the Sacred Waterfalls.

Then they waited four more days for the one who was foretold. The white
man who would be lost and wandering.

And guess who they found on the fourth day? Grandpa Herb had had
gotten separated from Coral during a very bad rain storm in the jungle. He
could only hope that she was still alive as he searched the jungle for
her. Then he came upon the magnificent water fall and witnessed a young
man make a spectacular dive from a cliff. Before he realized what he was
doing, he was shouting "Bravo!" in appreciation for the beautiful
dive off the cliffs over the water fall. He found himself quickly surrounded
and overtaken by two fierce looking, large, African men. They
took him to meet a young woman who seemed very pleased to meet him. He
was then taken prisoner. The next morning began a long, four day trip
through the jungle on foot back to the village.
The young woman who he came to know as Mala was received with great
rejoicing and Grandpa Herb was given special care, bathed , massaged and
well fed.

And imprisoned...

...where he waited all night, wondering what was to be his fate.
Then finally, when the sun rose and the morning was bright...

....Queen Hepsha paid him a visit.

"The Queen came into my cell, and sat down on the bed with me. When she
tried to cuddle, I resisted. One can't be too careful in these types of
situations." Grandpa explained.

"Come now, my love", she comforted him, as she drew near him, "My name is
Queen Hepsha; it has been foretold that you and I should make a child,"
she told him, in her thick, sultry, broken English.
Her accent was exotic and her scent intoxicating. She smelled like fresh
flowers from the garden with the mornings dew still on them. Everything
about Queen Hepsha was intoxicating, and she drew me into her trap like
a helpless fly, caught in a spider's web."

"Don't you find me attractive?" asked the Queen seductively.
"Her words were like honey in my ears; I could not of resisted her even
if she had been a horrible hag!"

"I had no choice but to comply with her wishes."

"Five days later, Coral had managed to follow my tracks and find me.
She spoke the language, and requested to see the Queen."

"The mighty Queen Hepsha of course, met with Coral; her arrival had
also been foretold and she was expected.
Queen Hepsha and Coral talked briefly."

"And surprisingly, allowed to visit with me. I had been the Queen's
main attraction for days, and I had given up trying to wear clothes, so
Coral found me in my underwear. We sat down around a small fire, and she
explained to me what was going on. I was to stay for three months and try to
get the Queen pregnant. If after the third month she was not pregnant,
they were going to sacrifice Coral to the fertility goddess of the
Volcano. Then we would try again for another three months to conceive a
child. If after those three months had passed and no child, they were going
to cook me up in a big pot and eat me like stew. They allowed Coral to
stay near by in a tent, but we were never allowed to be alone together. I
was the Queens property."

"Night after night, I was forced to perform my duty", declared Herb.

"Yeah, sure. Forced you! Night after night to woohoo with a young,
beautiful African Queen," said Coral with a straight face.

"Well, perhaps I was a little enthusiastic. Especially with that special
voodoo tea they made me drink everyday. It gave me a manly boost, if
you know what I mean.
And let's not forget the fact that if I did not impregnate the Queen,
they were going to kill your Grandma as a sacrifice to the goddess of
fertility."

"Would they have really killed you and Grandma?" asked Dustin, with a
shocked look.
"Oh yes," replied Grandma Coral. "The Queen is a very determined woman,
and will get what she wants.
"So what did you do?" asked Dustin.

"The only thing I could do," replied Grandpa Herb. "Keep on trying until
the Queen was pregnant."

...To be continued...

Default The Brandy Broke Story, Part 27

...........WELCOME BACK....................

"So how long did it take to get the Queen pregnant? And how on earth
did you ever escape?" Brandy asked her father and mother, but mostly
her father. She could not even look at her mother at the moment.

Her mother Coral did not look to be in the greatest of moods. Brandy
could tell that it was a hard time for her mother during their imprisonment
with the "Gotta Boogy Tribe," and still a sore subject for Coral.

But what could be done about the past?

She would be sure and comfort her mother later with a warm cup
of tea. And a understanding daughters ear and shoulder to cry on.

So much had happened in Brandy's life in the last 9 months that
she could hardly keep up with the day let alone dwell on the past. There
just had been no time yet.

Brandy started to think about all of the strange things that had happened
lately. She started to get drawn into her own deep thoughts when she
heard her father clear his throat loudly. More than likely to relieve
himself from Corals intense stare that got him squirming in his seat like
a fish out of water.

"Oh it was fortunate indeed how we escaped." Her fathers
voice burst in on her thoughts, bringing her back to reality
and drawing her back into the Jungle.

"During the day," Grandpa Herb continued his story. "Your mother and I were
forced to do work around the village. In that type of society, if you want to eat,
you have to work. You have to do your part. The women and your mother included
with them, often went to go and do the wash, gather herbs and or fire wood.
But for me, I was often sent with the men of the village to go and gather
oranges from the edge of the jungle.

"Wild Orange Trees" had the sweetest fruit you see, and eating
this fruit was considered the best for producing babies especially
healthy sons and beautiful daughters. It was the man's job to go
and gather this fruit and bring it back to his spouse to eat. I had
no chance for escape under the heavy guard of the Men from the Village.
Not only that Coral and I were also never allowed out of the Village together.
Lest we escape.Queen Hepsha was no fool, she knew that I would not
leave without my beautiful wife." Herb looked fondly at Coral and
received a cold look in return.
"But anyway, as the weeks went on, the men of the village started to
trust me not to run away when we went to gather the wild fruit.
It was very dangerous to go and gather it. And one really had to be on
ones wits . Lots of Spiders ,Snakes, Jaguars and all kinds of lethal things
around to kill you."
Grandpa lulled everyone into his tale and the room became silent as he
spoke.
"One day when I had wandered off a distance, to a grove of Wild Oranges
that had just ripened. I spotted some lovely oranges as I walked to them
I thought to myself, "How much longer must my life go on like this?
I am a slave by day and a sex slave by night! I shame my woman by being
forced to be with another woman and I cannot even fight back or find a
way out to save us. God when will you help us and get us out of this Hell Hole?"

I was just about to grab a very large juicy, ripe piece of fruit.

"When I heard a voice in very clear English say loudly "Hey! Don't Touch that!"
I quickly pulled my hand back from the fruit I was about to pick and
looked around for who had spoken in English and could not see anyone.
I looked back to where I was about to pick some oranges."

"I noticed a huge snake that I almost grabbed. It was sitting right
next to the lovely fruit I was about to pick! The Red Snake is poisonous but,
is very docile, not aggressive as snakes go, unless they are grabbed by mistake.
Then you will definitely get bitten.

The bite would not be lethal but very painful and a guaranteed 4 day trip with high fever and hallucinations. Best not to get bit by that one."

I looked around to see who had warned me of my very possible mistake.
But still could not see anyone.
"Hello, who is there? " I called out gently, not wanting to alert the other
men from the village.

"Hello," I heard a soft voice answer. "I am here, I am Sheeta."

I looked around through the dense jungle growth and could not see anyone.
"Well, Sheeta, I can hear you but I don't see you. Where are you?"

She suddenly appeared out of the flowers and foliage.
"I am right here." said Sheeta innocently with a playful tone.
"And indeed there she was, a most exotic and beautiful
creature," said Grandpa with perhaps a little to much enthusiasm.

"Can you see me now, or do you need me to get closer?"
asked Sheeta with a friendly cat like purr in her voice.

"That was a very large red snake you almost grabbed. I can't believe
that you did not see such a large snake right in front of you like that.
He was a very big snake," Sheeta seemed to be lecturing him.

"His bite would of been very bad for you." Sheeta told him seriously.

"Oh yes, Sheeta thank you very much for warning me. You probably
saved my life." said Grandpa gratefully.
"You must promise to be more careful next time," said Sheeta.
"Yes, of course , I promise Sheeta."
"Ok, good bye then," and Sheeta started to leave.
"No, please don't go Sheeta," Grandpa said quickly before she disappeared.

"Alright," said Sheeta she reappeared and sat down to talk with Grandpa
for a little while.
"What is your name?" asked Sheeta.
"I am Herb Davis," Grandpa answered.
"Why are you here in the Jungle with the wild things?" Sheeta asked
with great curiosity.
"My wife Coral and I are the unfortunate guests of Queen Hepsha
of the Gotta Boogy Tribe."
"That is not very good for you either, Queen Hepsha is evil and will sacrifice
you to the volcano god." warned Sheeta.
"Yes I know , we have not been able to get away though."

"You should make a better plan," Sheeta told him.
"Yes that is a good idea, do you have any good plans?"
" I could probably help you , but I am busy looking for a husband. I want to start a family.
I am looking for someone like me." Sheeta said dreamily.
"Sheeta if I can help you find a husband , that is like you, will you help my wife and I escape
from Queen Hepsha and the Gotta Boogy Tribe?"
"You know of a single male like me?" Sheeta asked interested.
"I do know of such a man, I also know that he is single and looking
for a wife, at least he was two years ago when I last seen him." said
Grandpa.
"Where is this man that is like me?" Sheeta said with a small growl in
her voice.
"Do we have a deal Sheeta?" asked Grandpa.
"Mmmm , yes, we have a deal ," agreed Sheeta.
"Fine , fine, very well then, you come up with a plan to get us free from
Queen Hepsha and my wife and I will take you to meet the Leopard man
of Scotland."

Then Herb could hear the other men of the village approaching in his
direction.
"I will try and come back tomorrow to pick more oranges, will you be
here so we can talk?"
"Yes, when you are ready to talk, just whistle like this and she demonstrated
the unique tune. Grandpa quickly memorized the tune.
"Crack! Crunch..!" he heard footsteps approaching and grandpa stood up.

Grandpa started to pick oranges again and casually told Sheeta that
she had better go.
"Don't worry about me Herb, you watch out for snakes."

Herb intended to smile at Sheeta for her comment.

But when he looked for her she was gone. He smiled in her direction
anyway. For the first time in months Herb had some hope.
The men from the Gotta Boogy Tribe came to collect Herb and
return to the village.

"COOOL Grandpa!!!!!!! You got all the HOT babes on that Jungle
Adventure! busted out Dustin with out really thinking about what
he was saying, until it was to late.

Coral looked like she was about to cry and Dustin suddenly felt rotten
for what he had just blurted out.
" Sorry Grandma," Dustin tried to apologize.

Just then one of the twins woke up crying. Brandy used that as a reason
to halt the story for now.
"Lets come back to this later, I need to take care of the babies and I think
I need a nap to." said Brandy.
"That sounds good to me ," said Dustin quickly leaving the table.

And Brandy went to go and change a dirty diaper.

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 28

Welcome Back.

Brandy tended to her newborn twin son Skip then lay down
and took a nap herself.

Later baby Rose (Skip’s twin sister) made the tiniest of peeps
and Brandy heard her mother Coral come into the room.
"Go back to sleep dear," she said gently to Brandy.

Brandy heard her mother giving Rose kisses and allowed herself
to drift off back into a deep sleep.

"Grandma has you, yes I do you little sweety."

4 hours later Brandy woke up from her nap.

"I feel much better now. Where is mom?"

"I think she is outside looking at your flowers. She is upset
about a lot of things that happened during our captivity." explained
Brandy's father Herb.

"Dad, I i'll go and talk to her. Will you please put the pot on?
You will find a nice selection of tea in the cupboard next to the
fridge. I like chamomile, I would suggest that for mom to."

"Should I add a drop of the good stuff?" Herb asked
with a smile. "No dad, better to bring the bottle.
You will find some good Cognac in the wine cabinet." Brandy winked at her father.

Brandy found her mother in the small flower garden. Coral
was nearly to tears and very depressed. Brandy comforted her
mother and offered her the tea that her father brought out for
them a few moments later. Coral had some tea and also 4 good
shots of Cognac. Brandy could not remember a time when she
witnessed her mother drink more than a glass of wine.

After a long talk Coral hugged her daughter closely. "I thought I
would never see you again,"
Coral said in a cracked whisper. From there
they went inside. Coral was feeling all warm and fuzzy now.

Once again they all sat down at the kitchen table.

"OK dad time to finish the story," Brandy said as she sat down to
her own bowl of reheated chili from lunch.

Dustin was about to burst out and say. "Alright Grandpa! Lets hear
the rest of the story!"

But he took one look at his grandmother and found himself silent.
Herb was also silent.

"Dad, it's OK, mom and I had a long talk and she wants us to know
everything that happened.
"Is that true Coral?" Grandpa asked his wife.
He received a faint smile and nod of her head in agreement.

"Sheeta was the one that really saved us." Grandpa Herb quickly
drew everyone back into the jungle.

"Sheeta is a incredible child of the forest. I am not even really sure what
she is, except that she is a part of the forest.

And by using her wonderful mind.

"She came up with a brilliant plan that saved our lives."
"Sheeta did this for us all in the hopes of love," Grandpa Herb
directed his eyes at Coral. He received a slight sigh from her and
he continued his story.

Back at the Gotta Boogy Tribe.

When I returned after meeting Sheeta that day.

The Queen decided to pay me a visit.

She had eaten many wild oranges and had only one thing on her mind.

"Fulfill the Prophesy!"

She peaked through the bars at the one who was fortold to father her son.

He is rather cute for a older man she thought to herself as she got closer.

Queen Hepsha had a way of just appearing, and was suddenly in the
prison cell with me,"Grandpa explained.
"I tried to hop out of bed but she was on me like stink on skunk."

"Conceive a male child with me white man caught by the Sacred Falls,
"Queen Hepsha said.
"How is my wife Coral doing today?" Herb asked, trying to distract the
excited Queen.
"She is alive and well Herb, she is a slave but she is still here." Queen
Hepsha reassured him.

"Once I give birth to our male child then you and your wife
can go free. All you have to do is get me pregnant with a male child.
I think tonight would be a very good night to try, don't you think Herb?
Hepsha asked seductively. The "Strong Man" tea Herb had been given
earlier was having its effects. Herb could hardly control himself as the
perfumed scent of the Queen drove him wild with passion.

"You must promise that I can see my wife Coral alive and well at first light," Herb tried to demand.

"But of course," said the Queen, alive and well in the morning," she
agreed and dove in for a kiss."

One that lasted all night.

And the Queen finally became pregnant.

Word spread quickly of the Queens prophetic pregnancy. Sheeta
stayed close, unnoticed and always let Herb know she was there
during the next long 8 months. Herb told Coral about Sheeta but
she did not seem to believe him. Something was different about
Coral. She was a slave and humiliated. She was heart broken.
She knew her husband had no choice in the matter but she was
still very jealous, the work was exhausting and wearing her out.

During the Queen's pregnancy, Coral and I were permitted to meet
every other night outside of Coral's tent. I finally managed to convince
Coral about the existence of Sheeta. Though I worried a bit as I had
not heard from Sheeta in over three weeks. The Queen was due to have
the baby very soon now and we would rather not be around if the child
was born a girl or anything that would cause Coral and I to be sacrificed
to the great Volcano god.

One night when I was instructed to tend the garden late into the evening

My young guard Himba suddenly got a very bad stomach ache.
"Ewwwwwwwww!" he groaned loudly.

The kind of stomach ache that doubles you over in pain.
"Herb I will be right back," the young warrior said in anguish and
he ran for the bushes on the far side of the garden.

Herb laughed to himself and continued his work. Then he heard the
quick call of Sheeta. He tried to stay calm lest he draw attention even
though his guard was busy in the bushes and unlikely to notice anything
but the business he was tending to.

"Sheeta?' Grandpa Herb said ever so lightly and returned the small
melody that Sheeta had taught him.
"I am so pleased you remembered," said Sheeta and mysteriously
appeared out of the dark jungle.
"Sheeta, it is you, I am so happy you have not forgotten us." said Grandpa
politely.

"No, I did not forget you, silly old man. I had to travel a long way,
my plan for your escape needed supplies and connections.

"Soon Queen Hepsha will give birth, the village will celebrate.
A diversion will happen sometime soon. You do know what a diversion
is don't you Herb?" Sheeta asked with a tone of innocence that edged
close to mockery.

"Yes, Sheeta, thank you, I do know what a diversion is."

"When you experience this diversion, you and your wife run to toward the wild orchard. I will be waiting and take you to safety."

"Thank you Sheeta. I will tell Coral as soon as I see her. Sheeta?
What will the diversion be? He called softly.

Then he heard footsteps behind him.

It was Queen Hepsha's youngest sister Nala. She came looking for his young guard Himba, they were in love.

"Who are you talking to?" Nala asked curiously. " Just talking to myself
as I do my work." Grandpa lied.
"Oh,"she said, he could see the disappointment on her face. He knew she
was looking for Himba. But he did not want to tell her that Himba was out
in the bushes doubled over with a stomach ache. No need to get his guard
mad at him. Just then a loud farty sound came from the bushes. Grandpa
quickly said "Excuse me, Old men have gas sometimes."

"This embarrassed the young woman and she abruptly left with out
a word. A few minutes later Himba came out of the nearby bushes.
He was pale and sweaty but looked a little better.
"Thank you,for not telling her where I was and for taking the blame
for my embarrassing gas." He smiled a large white toothy smile to Herb.
"I will pay you back the favor someday when you need it." Himba promised.
"Thank you Himba, she is in love with you, do you know that?" Grandpa
Herb asked the young warrior and continued his work in the garden.

"Do you really think so?" Himba asked with a large smile. "I love her to,
I want to marry her, but the Queen would never approve of the match."
Himba said disappointed.
"Love will always find a way Himba," Grandpa told him.

The next day I had a chance to speak with Coral and let her know
I had spoken with Sheeta last night, that our freedom would happen
when the baby was born and to watch for a diversion. Coral gave a small
smile of hope at the information. Then she heard her mistress calling and
quickly went back to work.
"I was very worried about Coral, being a slave was breaking her spirit. I
could see her dying daily. We had to escape soon!

The queen did not come to seduce me anymore but I was still locked
up and forced to work as a slave. However,Queen Hepsha came to visit
once in awhile so I could see how our child was growing inside of her.
A small hope of compassion from her grew in my heart. Maybe she really
would let Coral and I go when her son was born.

One day the queen came to visit me, I could tell there was something
she wanted to tell me. I could swear she was going to tell me that Coral
and I could leave. But before she could speak one word, she gave out
a loud cry and her water broke right in my prison cell.

In the same room that our son was conceived he would also be born.

"Oh!" she cried in agony with the labor pains of her first born child.

I will never touch a man again!" she moaned in the pains of childbirth.

Queen Hepsha finally gave birth to a large healthy baby boy. As soon as
the first cry was heard from the newborn babe. A great cheer could be
heard through out the village. Drums started to beat and people started
to dance and celebrate the birth of the prophesy child.

.......To be continued......

I have a baby brother???

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 29
Welcome Back

Nala snuggled her newborn nephew. He had been born two nights ago.
The whole village had been celebrating the Prophetic birth and everyone was exhausted.
Finally the village was quiet and Nala was giving her sister Queen Hepsha a needed break
from new motherhood.

Coral was sick of being a slave to the Gotta Boogy tribe. Out of all of the exhausting work that Coral had to do,
she looked forward to taking care of "Coota" Queen Hepsha's pet bird. Coota did not like anyone else to care
for him and would bite anyone that tried. The birds beak was very strong and could break bones. Coota liked
Coral though and never bit her and enjoyed her company. But today Coota suddenly flew out of his cage and
headed towards the Jungle. Coral knew that she had to go and catch Coota quickly before anyone noticed.
She would face a beating or worse for losing Queen Hepsha's bird.

"Are you trying to get me killed?" Coral scolded Coota when she finely caught up to him.

"That was very naughty of you to fly off like that! But you are such a
pretty bird that I am sure you are sorry and I forgive you." Coral told the bird.

"Preeety Biiird, sorry Pretty Biiird! Coota then whistled a merry tune that
cheered up Coral.
"Oh Coota, you are my only friend here. I love you." Suddenly Coral and
Coota were forced to be quiet, they heard loud voices arguing.

"I want to let them go! I like Herb and Coral! They were promised that they
could leave when the prophesy was fulfilled they have done that!" Shouted Tobit
to his mother.
Queen Hepsha was his twin sister. They were very close but Tobit and his
mother were not. Tobit was also not as wise as he was handsome.

Coral was frozen to her spot. She needed to listen but her heart was
beating so hard in her ears that she had to force herself to concentrate,
breath and listen.

"Tobit, I am always surprised that you are your sisters twin. If I had not
given birth to you and suckled you at my breast I would never guess that
you were my child. Why do you care for these strangers? They are food for
the volcano god."

"Mother, I know I have never been your favorite and you think that I am dull
witted. That may be true, but my heart tells me that we should honor our words
to these people and let them have their freedom."

"Do you wish to ANGER the gods?" she shouted at him. Luta was a very
intense woman most of the time and when she was angry you could feel the
wrath of her like the heat from a volcano.

"No mother I do not wish to anger the volcano god, I wish to let our people have
honor by keeping our word and letting Herb and his wife leave. They have worked
hard and deserve their freedom." Tobit argued with his mother.

"Our first duty is to our god. The volcano wants them both as a sacrifice.
A worthy payment of innocent blood for the birth blessing of our future great
leader." Luta informed him in dark tones.

"If you are half as wise as you are handsome you had better do as you are told,"
Luta warned him with contempt in her eyes.

Queen Hepsha walked up on the heated argument just in time to keep her beloved
twin brother from angering their mother further. Luta had always preferred Hepsha
over Tobit. Hepsha could not understand how a mother could love one child and not
another, especially when they were twins. But that is the way it was in her family.
Luta being the Tribal Shaman had great power and Queen Hepsha was often worried
for her dear twin brothers life. Hepsha had always loved Tobit, he was her best
friend. He was not very bright but he had a good heart and woman loved him.
When she had became queen she was sure that she could protect him from
their mother but that had been becoming more and more difficult as time went by.

"Why are you two yelling at each other? Hepsha asked, playing the role of peace keeper
as she often had between these two.
"Our mother want's to sacrifice Herb and Coral to the volcano god after we already gave
them our word that once a male child was conceived and born they could go free," Tobit answered.
"Mother is this true?" Queen Hepsha asked her mother Luta with a cool look.
"Yes its true the bones have spoken to me. The god demands the blood of the child's father
and his wife." Luta stated coldly.
"Mother are you sure?" Herb is the father to my child, I wish him no harm and especially not being
thrown into the volcano."
"The BONES NEVER LIE!! Luta shouted at them both. Hepsha knew her mother well and played
a old game with her brother they had developed as children to keep him out of trouble.
"Tobit, mother has never led us wrong before. Why do you mistrust her now?" Hepsha said in a small silly voice.

"Because it is not right to kill them, we gave them our word and they have
co-operated." argued Tobit.
"My poor brother, you must of had to much sun today," Hepsha quickly
said as their mother was still fuming.

Tobit then decided to go along with his twin sisters ploy.
"Oh yes, I was out hunting in the hot sun all day." exaggerated Tobit.

"Dear Brother, why do you make me worry about you so much?
Go and see Nala she will give you something cool and refreshing to drink."
Hepsha encouraged him to leave.

"Perhaps you are right sister, I will go and get something cool to drink."
He then left in silence towards Nala's hut.
"We must sacrifice them!" Lupa insisted, the bones have spoken if we
do not, the god will be angry with us and take his revenge on the village!"
"I understand mother, let us go and check on the prophesy child. I can feel
my milk coming, it must be time to feed him. Hepsha wanted to keep her
brother Tobit and her mother Luta apart
for the time being. Today the air had a uneasy feel to it and Hepsha
did not like it.

Coral stood frozen hardly daring to breath as she watched them all walk out
of sight.
"You were a very good bird," she told Coota. "I am so glad that you were quiet.
"QUIET!" Coota squawked loudly giving Coral a small heart attack
not knowing if they were well out of earshot or not. Coral waited another 15
minutes and then took the long way back around to the village to return Coota
to his cage. Most of the villagers were tired and dragging themselves around
from too late a night to notice Coral sneaking back with Coota.

LATER THAT DAY

Nala was outside when she first felt the earth rumbling beneath her feet.
The rumbling got louder and louder. She thought it might be a earthquake,
but it was much worse than that.

She heard the very loud trumpet calls of many elephants, the sound got closer and
the rumblings got more intense.
Nala jumped in fear and screamed at that the top of her lungs STAMPEDE!!
Run for your lives!!"

"The rumbling and noise had brought me to the edge of my prison cell to see what all
the commotion was, it was indeed a stampede!" Grandpa said to Brandy and Dustin.
"A Herd of Wild Elephants was charging through the village. I have been in Africa
for many years and though it is not impossible for them to behave this way it was unusual.

When a herd of wild elephants is charging through your village the only thing you can do is,

"GET OUT OF THEIR WAY!"

FAST!!!!

The first wave of elephants charged right up to the prison I was held captive
in and knocked down a wall, allowing me my freedom. I knew this was the
distraction that I had been waiting for from Sheeta.

I quickly looked around for Coral and scrambled out of my prison. I spotted her and waved to her.

Coral seemed to be in a daze as she watched the stampede of Wild Elephants
pass.

Coral! I shouted to her, CORAL!" Still she watched the stampede in a daze.

Tobit was on the other side of the stampede and could see Coral just standing there.
Tobit shouted to her "Coral! Run! Coral! Save your life!"
"I then Whistled Very loudly, the Sheeta call. This finally drew Corals attention and
she noticed me, I pointed for her to run to the wild orchard as planned and we both started running.

I made it to the edge of the jungle first;

and was quickly reunited with my dear wife Coral. We had made it out of the
village but we were not free yet. We had to keep moving quickly. Luta was
watching us from the front porch of Queen Hepsha's home. She could do nothing
because the stampeding elephants kept them trapped on the porch.
Queen Hepsha also watched from the porch while Coral and I made our escape.

A steady flow of ornery Wild Elephants prevented anyone from chasing after us.

Queen Hepsha had a soft smile on her face as she watched Herb and Coral run
for the Wild Orchard. She was glad that they were getting away. She would of
come up with a plan somehow with her brother to help them escape, this just
worked out better. Queen Hepsha was very pleased with herself. She had her
prophesy child, Herb and Coral gained their freedom and she had once again kept
her brother out of trouble with their mother. Not bad for a days work she thought
smugly.

"It appears our love birds have escaped. No worries we will send our best
warriors to hunt them down and return them for proper sacrifice,"Luta said cruelly.
"No Mother! There will be no sacrifice! Queen Hepsha said sternly.

"I am afraid I will have to disagree with you my daughter, the god of the
volcano will have HIS SACRIFICE of innocent blood!"
she hissed nastily.

Queen Hepsha followed her mothers line of view just in time to see her dear twin brother
Tobit;

being crushed and trampled by the stampeding elephants.

"He angered the gods with his disobedience!" Luta said with a nasty smile on her old cruel face.

Queen Hepsha could not breath as she watched her dear twin brother being trampled to death by wild elephants.
She screamed in her head and then she realized that she was screaming out loud.

TOBIT!!! Noooooooo!!!!!! Tobit!! Nooooo, not my brother! Leave him alone she screamed to one elephant that was about to step on him again.

The elephant seemed to have understood her and looked at her through his
large dark eye and then left her brother alone and continued the stampede
with the herd.

"The Queen screamed hysterically until the last elephant left the village.
Coral and I had the chance to turn around and witness the horrible event
as we made our escape." Grandpa told them in somber tones.

Coral gave a sudden loud sob and burst into tears.

"Mom are you OK?" Brandy rushed to her mothers aid.
"Yes dear, I will be fine. Its just that Tobit was a really great guy,
Coral sobbed, and I was very sad to see him die such a horrible death.
He did not deserve that. I know that he was trying to get
to me before you father got my attention with Sheets's whistle.
I remember him so well. He must of tried to cross the stampede to try and
help me. Me a lowly slave!" Coral burst out in to full blown tears.
Brandy poured her mother a fresh cup of tea, and Coral poured herself
another large drop of Cognac.
And Grandpa continued telling the story at the dinner table.

I knew Sheeta was waiting for us somewhere, we steadily kept running to
the Wild Orange Orchard.

"Welcome to freedom," Sheeta greeted us cheerfully about two miles from
the village well inside the wild orchard.

"How did you like my diversion?" Sheeta asked with a curious Kitty face.
"A stampede of Wild Elephants was a excellent diversion Sheeta,
Thank You." said Grandpa politely.
Then suddenly Coral fainted and I had to carry her through the jungle
until she recovered. My poor Coral hardly weighed anything I could feel
every bone in her body as I carried her through the jungle. We had to
keep moving Sheeta told us that the elephants had agreed to stay in
the village only until sunset. Apparently the elephants owed Sheeta a
favor and she called them on it.

Interesting story; love your cat-women skin, and the brother is (was?) so handsome! Especially like your shots through jungle foliage.

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 30

Welcome Back

Herb had been following Sheeta and carrying Coral through the jungle for over a
hour after their escape from the Gotta Boogy Tribe. Later Coral had woke up
enough to walk but he still had to support her and help her along Coral was
suffering a mild case of shock.
"Sheeta can we stop awhile? I am exhausted, pleaded Grandpa. And I am worried
about Coral she has not fully recovered yet, I suspect she needs to sit down and
get her bearings back.

"Yes Herb," said Sheeta in her peculiar way of talking. "This is a good place to rest."
'She sounded almost French Herb thought to himself.'

"I was rather hoping for a fire for my poor wife. She really is not well, I have
never seen her like this but then again we have never been in this type of
situation before. He helped her sit down on a nearby log.

"You have done well Herb. You and your wife are very strong." She gave
kinda of a purring sound after she said this. It made Herb smile. He suddenly
understood how baby kittens must feel when they hear their mother purr
to them it must give them strength. Herb was strengthened and thankful that
things were getting better.

"I can hear the river near by, where are we Herb?" Coral asked sleepily and
started to look around.

"That's because we are close to the river Coral." Sheeta gave the same
sort of purring sound as she said Coral's name.

"You must be Sheeta, Coral said softly. You seem nice but I really hate this dream,
can I please wake up now?"

"Yes Coral, you will wake up soon, but first you must go back to sleep,
we leave when the last star has faded."

Before sunrise Sheeta had them on a trail to the river. It was pitch black
slippery and full of unknown hidden dangers but somehow Sheeta guided
them through the jungle safely.

They followed Sheeta while the sun slowly rose and finally found themselves at
the edge of a steep river bank. They could see a small section of the river that
diverted off from the main river kind of like a circle driveway off of the main road.
It was well hidden, beautiful and resembled a small lagoon.

"This is where we shall say good bye for a little while. I have bought you a boat,
you shall make your final escape on the river. You do know how to row a boat don't
you Herb?"

"A boat?" asked Grandpa while trying to catch his breath and watch his step,
they were up fairly high on the edge of a steep cliff overlooking the small lagoon.
"Yes Sheeta,I do know how to row a boat."
Grandpa searched the other side of the river bank and spotted a large
wash tub tied to the bank and floating on the river.

The large wash tub looked like it floated well, and might even hold both
him and Coral for a little while in calm water.

But they were not headed for calm waters.

"No way am I getting in that thing," Coral stated as she caught sight of the
craft floating in the water.

"Sheeta are we both to fit into that wash tub and escape down the river?"
Grandpa asked her calmly.

"Whashh tub? I have a boat for you Herb, do you not see it?" And then Sheeta
looked in the direction he and Coral were looking.

"Oh no Herb, that would never hold you and your wife, you are both
very thin but that will not take you on the river. Look to the other
side, I have hidden it in the reeds.

Herb and Coral were very tired but found themselves delighted when they
spotted the boat that Sheeta had obtained for them.

It took nearly an hour to get down to the river bank and to the boat. Sheeta
had it well hidden and the jungle was thick.
They could tell that it was a very well made boat, the type of
craftsmanship rarely seen anymore.

Once they got close to the boat, Herb and Coral got more excited about their
final escape.
"Wow! Sheeta this is amazing whoever made this craft must be a
master of his trade." Grandpa said and admired the boat.

"You can always take the wash tub if you wish Herb. I did buy that
to give my future children a bath in. You are so silly to think that I would
send you down the river in a Large wash tub..Haa haa.. haaaahhh haa!!
What a silly old man you are, imagine going down the river in that little
washtub. " Sheeta continued to laugh and poke fun at Herb.

"Oh alright! Herb roared. "It's not like I have not had a bit to deal with lately anyone can make a mistake!"

For the first time in months Coral laughed.

"I am glad to see that you have come back to us Coral. You and your husband
love eachother. Hang on to that, it has brought you this far. Now together
you must face the river. It is your only escape in your condition. You are both
very week from captivity but Love is the strongest power. Keep your
love and escape."

The calm waters of the small lagoon were very deceiving as to what the river
was really like.

Herb and Coral took a moment to pray for a safe journey, the calm lapping of the
water against the boat seemed to be in harmony with the prayers they sent up
to the Almighty.

"It is time to go now, you need a good head start to get away from the clutches
of the Gotta Boogy Tribe, Sheeta told them. They will be after you more than ever.
You must travel the river all day until it is dark. Then go to the right hand side
of the river, tie your boat to a tree and sleep in the boat. Do not
get out of the boat for any reason or the Ghost Tribe will get you. As soon as
it is light you must leave. Take nothing from that place and leave nothing in
that place."

Sheeta busied herself getting the boat ready for launch.

Soon Herb and Coral were getting into the well made wooden boat.
"OK, stay in boat, Sleep in the boat, pee over the side of the
boat closest to the river if needed. Do Not get out of the boat
or the Ghost Tribe will get us, got ya. Coral said aloud to Sheeta as settled
into her seat and grabbed an oar. "I will be staying in the boat. Does the
Ghost Tribe have a beautiful Queen leading them?"
"Oh no she is quiet hideous, Sheeta explained, and they are known
to be cannibals. So sleep very lightly; if they catch you there will be little
to nothing I can do to save you."
"When can we get out of the boat?" Herb asked.
At the end of the second day when the sun is setting you will be out of
the Ghost Tribe's territory. You must keep moving and get through it quickly."

Sheeta held the boat still in the water as Herb and Coral settled in.

Once they were settled in Sheeta showed them the bundles stashed
in the boat containing food and other things. Sheeta also gave Herb a
very sharp knife.

"The 5th of day traveling on this river will bring you to the Village of Danalla,
you can send me a letter to its post office, you must put on the envelope
"Attention Sheeta Fan". This will alert my friend and she will get me the
message. I will be waiting to meet the Leopard Man of Scotland. " Sheeta said
dreamily.
After all was said and done, Herb and Coral thanked Sheeta for all of her help.
And promised to be in touch with her soon when they had made it out of Africa
and able to send word.

"Well my dear, Herb addressed his wife, are you ready to go home?"

"Home?" Coral said with a question in her voice. Yes, I want to go HOME.

"Here we go!" grunted Herb with a big stroke of his paddle. Sheeta gave
them a big push.

They quickly were drawn into the current of the river.

The river grabbed a hold of the sturdy wooden boat with its aggressive grip
and sucked it out from the shelter of the quiet lagoon. The current was very
fast and deep. Soon they were out in the river.

Herb and Coral were both "White Water Rapid Experts" and could clearly see
that they were in for one wild ride.

"Well honey, do you think we can make it through this?" Coral asked and
prepared for the fast water approaching, feeling the boat speeding up and
getting pulled into the current.

"As long as you are with me my love, I am willing to give it my best,"
and he used his oar to steer them along out into the more swiftly
moving river.

The well made wooden boat was fully in the current of the river, the sound of
rushing water was getting louder.

"Coral, I want you to know that I am so glad I met you in college. I was so
thrilled when you said yes to our first date. I was sure you were my one and
only from the first moment I laid eyes on you at school."

"Your just saying that cause you know its true." Chided Coral, she grabbed
her oar and made ready for the fast white water ahead of them.

"I'm going to write a book about this when we get home you know." said Coral.

"Yes, and I know its going to be a Best Seller to!" Herb shouted back to Coral;
the sound of the approaching white water now a light roar.

"I am sure Queen Hepsha will want a copy signed by you." Coral said suddenly
feeling onry and mean.

"As a matter of fact I am sure Queen Hepsha would love a signed copy of
your book." Herb said back sharply.

A small creek entered the river as they passed and the boat shot forward
faster down the river.

"Yeah Im sure she would like all the part's underlined in red that
describe you and her fulfilling the prophesy!" said Coral with a sour tone.

"WHAT ?" exclaimed Grandpa, Are you seriously going to bring
that up right now? Do you really think I liked being the personal private
sex, slave of a very attractive African Queen?"

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 30 continued.

"WHAT ?" exclaimed Grandpa, Are you seriously going to bring that up right now? Do you really
think I liked being the personal, private sex slave of a very attractive African Queen?"

"YES I do believe that! Its not like you were begging for mercy every night. And the queen made
sure to leave the curtains open so everyone could see you two going at it!." Coral shot back and added
her oar to the water making ready for the rapids.

"Yeah, you were just tortured every night." hissed Coral under her breath.

"Now Coral you take that back!" Herb shouted at her. "You know darn well they were forcing
me to drink "Stong Man Tea!"

"Whats that ?" Coral said over her shoulder pretending not to notice that her words had really hurt Herb. Or perhaps she did
not care at that moment. She felt excitement course through her body as the fast rushing sounds of the river got louder.
She had a lot of stress built up from the year of being held captive as a slave to the Gotta Boogy Tribe. She was looking forward
to the rapids and angrily gripped the paddle in anticipation.

"Con found it all WOMAN I do not love the QUEEN! I only love you!" Herb shouted to his wife .

"Make ready, Coral shouted back to him. The first rapids are just ahead!"

"Herb would have to let things go for now, it was going to take both of them
working together and all of their years of experience White water rafting
together to get through what lay ahead.

Sheeta watched them from behind a tree high up on the river bank.

The river was full of danger but she was sure Herb and Coral could make it as long
as they worked together.

Unseen from the cliff Sheeta waved bye to them. She hoped they would not forget her and keep
their promise of introducing her to the Leopard Man of Scotland.

It was very dark when they finally pulled the boat to the right side of the river and tied
up to a tree for the night.

"Coral, I have got to get out of this boat, my butt is killing me and my leggs are cramped.
"Sheeta said Do NOT get out of the boat, Do not get out Herb!" Coral told him.

"I cant help it, my back is killing me, I have got to stand up and walk around. I will be quick
I promise and I wont leave anything or take anything." Grandpa said and started to stand up in the boat.

The End of Part 30.

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 31, Attack of the Tikii Statues.

Welcome back to The Brandy Broke Story, part 31
Attack if the Tikii Statues

Grandpa Herb sat at the kitchen table with Coral, Brandy and Dustin.
Once again all the little ones were asleep and Grandpa continued his story
of when he and Coral were making their escape from the Gotta Boogy Tribe.

Coral and Herb had been travelling hard on the river all day. They were both exhausted.
The sun was setting and it was time to do as Sheeta had told them. "At sunset find a place
on the right hand side of the river. Do not get out of the boat. Take nothing and leave
nothing or the Ghost Tribe will get you and I will not be able to help you."
Once they were anchored for the night Herb had wanted to get out of the boat because
his back was killing him. Coral talked some sense into him and he settled for standing up in
the boat and peeing over the side closest to the river. Take nothing, leave nothing.

"Whew, I can't ever remember being so tired." said Coral.
The sun was setting, but they still had good light on the river for awhile until the
blackness of night would encompass them like a heavy blanket full of mosquitoes.
Coral searched the supplies, found a flash light, some mosquito repellant and a
12 pack on instant meal drinks in a can. Just shake and serve.

Coral sprayed them both with the mosquito repellent.
She handed a can of instant meal to Herb and shook up a can for herself.

And drank it straight down in two big gulps.

"Better slow down on that stuff, I don't want you getting sick." Herb warned.

"I know, I was just suddenly starving, I couldn't help myself." said Coral.

"I understand, I wasn't hungry when we first stopped. I think my back was hurting too much."
Then Herb's stomach growled loudly and he downed his drink the same way his wife just had.

"Are you ready to get some sleep?" Herb asked Coral.

"I'm so tired I could sleep on a rock," Coral told him while handing him another instant drink
and sipping on her second one.

But I don't think we should sleep here, not with all those little statue things.
They are creeping me out." Coral told him.

"There does seem to be a lot of them, I wouldn't worry about it though. It is probably
some local tribe's god to ward off evil. That's all."

"We should be fine." Herb tried to comfort his wife.

"Herb I really don't like it here, it is way too quiet for a jungle at sunset. I think we should finish our
delicious dinner and head farther down the river."

"Honey, we are both exhausted and could really use some sleep. It is going to be
dark in less than 20 minutes. There is only a sliver of a moon tonight and it looks like
it wants to rain. If we go back out now we could be swept over a waterfall, smashed to bits
on the rocks, attacked by hippos or any of the other dangers of the jungle." Herb told her
hoping to convince her to stay. He was so tired and weary that his hair hurt.

"Yes, I know all of that, but it is just way to creepy here, I think we should leave
now and take advantage of the last of the light." Coral tried to convince him to leave.

"I am too tired to move, how about a compromise?" Herb asked her. Then he continued,
"We take turns staying on watch through the night? We can start with one hour shifts.
I will even take the first shift."

As if on cue the jungle seemed to get a little darker around them. Coral took another
drink of her instant meal. She did not want to agree but really had no choice.
Coral let out a tired sigh. And gave her last objection.
"It seems that we have no choice, we can take turns on watch, but how will we keep track of time?"
Herb used the flashlight and dug into the supplies that Sheeta had given them and found a digital
watch with a light on it.

"Here we go, God Bless you Sheeta, she covered the basics." Herb showed the watch to Coral
and also took out the large, sharp knife that Sheeta had given him and laid it near his side. He would
have preferred a high caliber machine gun but the knife was better than nothing.
Herb noticed that Coral still wore her wedding ring. After all that they had been through, she still wore
her wedding ring. Coral noticed him noticing.

In the last of the fading sunlight they looked deeply into each others eyes, they were
both tired and dirty but just as in love with each other as ever. They did not have to speak
words, this old married couple had been together for so long that the love in their eyes said
all that was needed.

Steadily it grew darker while Coral and Herb tried to make themselves comfortable
in the boat for the long night ahead.
Herb found a package of glow sticks cracked one open and put it in his shirt pocket.
While it got darker only the sound of the rushing river could be heard.

The dark jungle closed around them in silence.

Coral had been slowly sipping the last of her third dinner drink. She was tired but
did not want to go to sleep.
"Maybe I should take first watch, I am too scared to sleep." she yawned. "Plus you might
fall asleep during your watch." said Coral.

"Madam! I have Never Fallen Alseep on Duty!" said Herb getting all offended.

Coral laughed during her last sip at Herb's protest. Now that she knew Herb was miffed,
he would stay awake for awhile giving her a chance to sleep for a hour.

"I know honey, just teasing," she said with a huge yawn. "You have first watch."
"I will only sleep for a short 60 minutes, then it will be your turn." Coral told him
allowing sleep to quickly take its place.

Herb looked at his lovely, sleeping wife in the dim light of the glow stick for several
long minutes. He loved her very much. She looked so peaceful asleep. He let out a
long yawn and looked at his watch. '47 minutes to go then it is my turn.' Herb told himself.

.......Unfortunately, that is the last thing that Herb did before drifting of to sleep

Unfortunate indeed.

The Jungle is full of mysterious and dangerous things.

Hungry, ancient, evil things. Things that should not have been forgotten by man.

Something is always watching in the night, waiting for an opportunity.

With the quiet of the jungle cradling her tired head, Coral slept soundly at first.

Then slowly like a fog creeping into her mind she was drawn into an ancient dream.
Drawn until she was completely enveloped in its velvety grip.

Coral could hear drums, lots of drums in her dream. She started to see the fire from torches.
She was in a very ancient place in the middle of some kind of a ceremony. Not just any ceremony
but the kind that involves Human Sacrifice. Coral tried to wake up but she could not.

The smell of smoke and sweat met her nose violently in her dream. Fear, great fear was everywhere.

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 32. Corals Nightmare!.
Welcome back!

The smell of smoke and sweat met Coral's nose violently
in her dream. Fear, great fear was everywhere

"Bring the Sacrafice!"
a cruel voice shouted, followed by the face to match it.

Coral could tell that this poor girl was already done for. The cruel voice shouted again.

"Bring the next sacrifice, the god is still hungry!"
the evil woman shouted.

Coral could only watch in horror as the scene played out before her, sacrifice after
bloody sacrifice.

The god was indeed hungry, and the line of young woman being sacrificed seemed endless.
Coral began to cry in her sleep but still could not wake up.

Coral's dream seemed to change, the images were more clear while she witnessed
the next human sacrifice begin to take place.

"You Fools!"
the horrible voice shouted.

"She is waking up!"

"She is waking up!"
the horrible voice screamed in a rage.

"The god will only accept a sleeping sacrifice! Who is responsible for this outrage?"

"You! You are responsible for this outrage!

and she began to beat a young servant girl.
The dream then changed back to the young woman who was waking up on the altar.

"I must wake up,"
she heard the young woman on the altar say groggily."

Coral tossed in her sleep slightly, but was unable to wake from her nightmare.

Tikiii the wind seemed to say lightly. Tiiikiiii.

Tikii, Tikii, Tikiiiiiiiiiiiii
chanting was coming from somewhere in the jungle.

A storm rumbled in the distance, lighting briefly lit up the sky and still Herb slept
and Coral continued to dream.

"Coral you must wake up! Wake up or you will have to take my place!"

"Yes, Coral, take her place! Take her place right now!"
The cruel voice tried to convince her in her nightmare.

"No Coral, don't listen to her! You have to wake up! Wake up Coral!
the young woman pleaded in her dream. Her voice dissolved into nothingness.

Tikiiii, Tikiiii, Tikiiii

Coral's nightmare took a turn for the worst when she found herself half asleep on the altar.

"Coral, you have to wake up! You do not have to be food for the god! Fight them Coral, wake up!"
the young woman cried to her from within the dream.

"Food for the god, I don't have to be food for the god."
Coral mumbled in her sleep.

"Yes Coral, you are food for the god."

"Now get into the pot so I can cook you up."
the high priest commanded her.

"No, I don't want to be food for the god! I am not even a virgin, why would the god want me?"

"Plus there is no way I am going to fit into that tiny pot." Coral began to protest in her dream.

"You are a perfect sacrifice for the god, he loves older woman. And you will fit into
the pot just fine, we really only need your head. Here let me help you get rid of your body."
The high priest then picked up Coral in her dream.

"Hey, you were right, I do fit into this pot. That didn't even hurt.
Am I dead yet?"

Default The Brandy Broke Story, part 33, Escape from the Tikii Statues
Welcome back!

Part 33, Escape from the Tiki Statues

As Coral and Herb lay sleeping, the Tikii Statues grew
in numbers and gathered around them by the river bank.
The Tikii was once the god of a powerful ancient people
called the Nucks.

The Nucks were a blood thirsty and evil people who willingly
followed an evil god. One who preferred its victims sleeping.
The Chanka people were a good and brave people. They had
grown weary from years and years of the Nucks raiding their
cities and villages, taking all the young women for sacrifices
to their hungry god.

The Chanka people banded together the night the king's daughter
had been captured and taken for sacrifice.

Legend has it, she is the only one to ever wake up from
the sleeping spell that the Nucks use on their victims of sacrifice.

The Chanka people were victorious in a huge, bloody, battle that
lasted for two months. The Chanka people killed all of the Nucks.
Yes, all of them. None were spared. No spoils of war were taken.
The cattle and livestock were killed and burned. The crops burned
and seeds destroyed. They burned all of the Nucks cities and villages
to the ground. All Tikii statues were burned to dust. The Chanka
people wanted to get rid of the Nucks and their god forever.

The brave Chanka people are now thought to be extinct. But some
say that the Chanka people turned into the wolves of the jungle.
They are also said to be shape shifters, speaking all the languages
of the jungle. It is well know; to see a Chanka means that you
have been protected in some way from evil.

One day an evil, jungle witch found some ancient scrolls hidden in
an old forgotten temple of the Nucks. The Chanka people had
worked hard to destroy everything of the Nucks, but this had
escaped. It told her how to revive the god. Who ever did so would
be rewarded as Divine Leader of the People. Having all power. That
is exactly what the hate filled witch wanted. Power and the power
to inflict pain on any one who crossed her.

She had already given over her soul, years ago
to the Dark One--so, she thought she
'might as well give it a shot.'

As Herb and Coral lay sleeping the Tikiis were gathering in even
greater numbers. Soon they would have enough power to
possess them and sacrifice them. Herb and Coral had to wake
up soon but who would help them?
Coral tossed in her sleep as the young woman in her dream
kept telling her to wake up.

But then help arrived in a unlikely way.

A River Dolphin swam up and nudged Coral's hand.

Coral felt the cold nudge of the dolphin's wet nose and started to rouse but not quick enough.

A cold splash of river water from the dolphin's tail woke her out of her nightmarish dream with a start.

"Wake up!" the dolphin shouted in a peculiar squeaky dolphin voice.

"It's about time you wake up!" The lead river dolphin
squeaked to her. "The Tikii Statues are about to get you!"
Thunder rumbled nearby and it began to rain a little. Lightning was starting to light
up the sky.

"I must still be dreaming that horrible dream." Coral
said out loud.
"No, you are not dreaming! But you are
about to be dreaming a horrible nightmare forever if
you and your husband do not get out of here. The Tikis
almost have you! Look over there."
the dolphin told her.

A huge bolt of lightning lit up the night just as Coral looked in the direction of the river bank
"Good grief! Those horrible things are alive! I thought
I was just having a nightmare." said Coral with a lump
in her throat.
"Yes, they are real; you must wake your
husband; get your boat out of here; we are here to help
you. The wolf sent us to help you. Now get your man
awake before it is too late."
Then Coral heard the chanting that she had heard in her
dream," Tikiii, Tikiiiiiiiii, Tikiiiiiii it was coming
from the statues and they were starting to look very angry.

"Herb!" Coral tried to shout, but only a whisper came out.
Her voice had seized up with fear. "Herb, wake up!" her
intended roar came out again only as a whisper.
Coral moved forward to try and grab a hold of Herb
and wake him but her whole body started to cramp up
at the attempt.

"More Tikii magic," the dolphin squeaked. "We will help you
wake the man."

A lovely female dolphin came up behind Herb and poked
him in the back of his head with her snout.
"Wake up old man! Do you want to dream a nightmare forever?
Wake up!"

"All right, all right," snarled Herb as he woke up.
"I only dosed off for a minute!" When he threatened
to fall back asleep he also received a large and well
aimed splash of cold river water from the dolphin's tail.

Herb shot up straight as a arrow at the shock of the cold water.

"Why did you splash me? I only dosed off for a minute! I am still on watch!"

Corals voice returned to her and she no longer suffered
the cramps in her arms and legs. Herb being awake broke
the power of the Tikii Statues. But they were still not
out of danger.

"I didn't splash you, the dolphin did. We have to get
out of here! Look!" She pointed to the river bank.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"What the?"

"Jumpen Jehosaphat! Lets go!"
"Told you this was a bad place to stay!" shouted Coral.
"Nag at me later woman!"
He grabbed the large sharp knife that Sheeta had given
him and cut the rope that tied them to the shore.
The river dolphins helped Coral and Herb back out to the
river, they paddled hard to make their get away from the
Tikii Statues. The Statues actually screamed in anger
when Coral and Herb made their get away with the help
of the river dolphins.

"Curses! Foiled Again!"

It was pitch black outside when Coral and Herb escaped
from the Tikii statues. They were nearly blind in the night
and out on the dangerous river.

Fortunately for them they had the very best guides
that the river had to offer. The river dolphins knew their
home well.

Once they got out onto the river, the dolphin that had
spoken to Coral earlier told her that she and Herb could
put away their oars. The dolphins would take the wooden
boat down the river the best and fastest ways possible.
Coral and Herb agreed and put away their oars.

"Where will you take us?" Coral asked in the dark.
"We will take you down the river until about noon
tomorrow to an island where you can be safe and rest.
No Tikis there. Pumas are the Guardians." the
dolphin said in his squeaky language. Before Coral
could ask further questions, the dolphin dove off
into the dark water.

Herb and Coral had no choice but to trust the dolphins
and they actually got a bit of rest in the dark of the night.
They could feel the boat moving swiftly and expertly
along the river. But once the sun started to come up and
Coral and Herb could get a good look at their brave dolphin
rescuers they could not take their eyes off of them.
Who could resist watching a river dolphin swimming like a
champion up the river? River rapids were but play to them.

And play these beautiful creatures did. Showing off for
Coral and Herb the whole way. They were dazzled and
amazed at all the array of brave and daring tricks these
dolphins would perform. They were all very beautiful and
in excellent health.

Wow! This is amazing. Every story I'd ever read about Brandy Broke has made her so whinny and needy. I love the say this Brandy has taken charge of her life. caring for her and her children. Glad Dustin and Angela broke up. I am not an Angela fan. Good stuff.

What a cute little birthday party. And I love Brandy's new look. She doesn't look like a teenager, but the mature woman she is. I love the woman she has grown into. Beau is a magical child? Interesting.

The best revenage is a well lived life.
