I have a little family of four living in mine: Jared, Katherine, Sally, and baby. No one is blonde though....

They can if you have this mod in your game by Moghughson.

I would like to know whether sims can use the double bed or not? It looks like the bed is on 3 tiles of floor, is it?

Tiny house is not play tested, but that diagonal mod will make the tv work, and either walk-around blocks, or Inge's Unaccessable Beds mod will take care of the master bed if it doesn't currently work.
