The good news us that my beloved computer engineering husband was able to get the back up files after trying everything he could do to retrieve them this morning, the bad news is that my computer is still dead and I don't know if the back up files are corrupted or not.

Thanks simsample, I will accept all the interweb hugs I can get. It was an emotional Easter and I'd be devastated if I were to truly lose the hood I have been playing since 2007 (four years BEFORE I met my husband!) We are going to the microcenter (computer parts store) today so I can some shiny new 1 TB hard drives and a smaller new SSD and a new graphics card. Once We re-install the sims 2 collection I will be able to see if my hood's back up files are good to go. Hopefully they will b, and last another 10 years!

I'm sorry about this! I'm the past few weeks, my game has been crashing on the loading screen. Even the EA employees were clueless. .. I was quite devastated. Countless reinstalls later, and an install of ccleaner, I was able to get my game working again! I hope your backup files aren't corrupted, and through the computer screen, I send hugs and prayers !

This is why I drive cccleaner and neighborhood check and then back-up the files :/
Though I am not too excited myself either. I know that next year I need a stationary and I'll properly move my serious sims game over on it, but else is my laptop gonna be word and internet use only :/

Ohh! I really do hope that it works out for you and Backups are good to go. I have had to restart my game from scratch for various reasons three times in the last three years with no backups, now days I have regular backups when I play.

I love reading about your sims Charmful! Their stories and family histories are fantastic and make for an absorbing read! You make me want to take pictures of my game so badly. What program do you use to capture such big pretty pictures?

Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for reading! I use the STEAM overlay to take screenshots. STEAM is a free application you can download get an account for, and it acts as a video game library. It allows you to add and run non-steam games through it like sims 2 and then you can hit F12 and take screenshots whenever you want, and saves all the files to your hard drive.

In addition I host a lot of my pictures either through Imgur or tumblr, which give full resolution links from your file uploads and do not re-size them like photo bucket when you share via link. The only thing to be mindful though is that tumblr will switch their servers about every year and half so I have to go back and update any forum links that reference them. Imgur never changes their servers that break links.

I hope to have more family stories/posts soon. As you have probably seen in above posts my hard drive had died but luckily I do have my back up files retrieved. I re-installed all the games last night and now all that is left is to replace the files with my back up files. *Fingers crossed*

As mentioned in the Orbinson Post , there are a lot of sims with the surname 'Wellington' hooking up to that elite family. The Wellingtons are now in the 5th generation, and there's quite a bit of spread in this family. So this post is pretty lengthy and please forgive some of the smaller sized images because I went on a big hunt for past pics of sims in this family tree and there was a time I didn't standardize my cropping.

The Wellingtons actually come from more humble beginnings—the original family introduced to the neighborhood in 2007 was a single mother named Zoe and her two sons, Gavin (teen) and Maxwell (child). The reason for their move to Scandalica City was that Zoe had left her abusive husband, took her sons with her and they lived in an apartment downtown.

CORE FAMILY HISTORY

Zoe Wellington worked as a waitress, she tried to provide for her boys the best she could. She relied on Gavin to watch over Maxwell when she worked late shifts at the restaurant. She dated a handful of men but then her manager asked her out. Who was her manager? Why none other than Derrick Louis, former guitarist for the famous rock band 'Weeping Death' which disbanded due to the lead singer's untimely death.

Derrick was pursuing a career to open his own restaurant so that's why he was in the restaurant scene at the time. Zoe and Derrick dated and eventually married. This caused a spacing issue as Derrick and his teenage daughter occupied a small apartment and there was no way was five people were going to live comfortably in Zoe's apartment. So the new family unit pooled their resources and bought a home downtown. The step-kids got along well enough, and soon they welcomed a new half-sibling into the mix when Derrick and Zoe had baby Rhiannon.

Eventually, the elder children moved out to go live their adult lives and so Derrick, Zoe, and Rhiannon moved to a new, smaller home in Memosa Bay. Around the time her youngest was in high school, Zoe noticed a change in Derrick. He was distant and she found out he had moved onto a younger woman for affection. This went about as horribly as it could when Zoe came home to find her husband in bed with that minx who called herself 'Geneva Fox.' There was a nasty divorce, Zoe kicked Derrick out of the house and was never the same afterward.

Eventually, she retired as a sous chef and adopted a beagle, then passed quietly in her old age.

Gavin Wellington was an athletic lad from the get-go. He was also energetic and had some killer dance moves, was also popular and handsome. He started taking an interest in his kid brother's best friend, Nina Masters once she hit puberty. Nina was a very beautiful girl with dark hair and piercing green eyes. Gavin also had this same coloring. Together, they created the strong genetic basis known in Kashmire as the 'Wellington look'. They passed this genetic code onto their children--Noelle, Lee, and Bree. Gavin and Nina lived in an apartment in Scandalica City with their eldest daughter until she was a toddler but then twins came as a surprise and they were in too tight of a space! They decided to spring for a bigger home in Isla Del Kashmire where they raised their kids. Nina started a garden and joined the police force as the syndicates were on the rise and the force needed all the help it could get. Nina was a decorated detective for many years, her specialty was going undercover to bust up crime rings and she ended up gaining the nickname 'Angel of Kashmire' - she was beautiful and fierce. Gavin played semi-pro soccer and eventually coached the team when he was older until his passing.

They had many family get-togethers, even after their children moved out and doted on their five grandchildren extensively. I have a video showing off Gavin and Nina's home and them as elders.

Maxwell Wellington, Zoe's younger son, was much more reserved than his elder brother, opting to sit alone and read books rather than play soccer. He did learn some sick dance moves from Gavin however since they spent most of their time together and had nothing to do but dance after school.

Maxwell harbored some shadowed resentment for his more popular, older brother for stealing away his best friend and harbored a life-long infatuation of Nina but never acted on it. He grew very close to his little half-sister, Rhiannon and they would often play music together or he would read her his favorite books.

He had an interest in a fellow introvert named Kerry Orbinson, the inventor's daughter. Kerry was a plain girl but she was nice and somewhat attracted to him and no one else showed Maxwell any attraction so he figured she would be a good wife. Maxwell wanted a family ever since he was old enough to ask why his father couldn't see them anymore and Kerry was as good as he was going to get to achieve his aspiration.

Maxwell was delighted when Jillian and later, Jonas were born. He was so enthusiastic about fatherhood that he even decided to be a stay-at-home dad for his kids and spend all the time he could with them. He taught Jonas to play drums and Jillian what bugs to catch. Kerry often felt like he loved their children more than her and she wasn't all that wrong, unfortunately. She maintained family finances through her work as a specialist and her deceased mother's assets. They lived in a beautiful seaside home with a courtyard filled with two-story waterfalls. However, the happy times were not to last.

During a dinner party, Kerry caught Maxwell making out with Janna Orbinson. Janna had always been friendly to Maxwell and maybe they had a bit too much from the wet bar that night but Kerry was livid with both her husband and sister-in-law. The fallout was swift. Kerry kicked out Maxwell from their dream home and filed for a divorce. Maxwell moved in with his mother, who had gone through a divorce recently as well. She wasn't too sympathetic but allowed him to live with her because he was still her little boy. It broke his heart that his son, Jonas refused to forgive him for cheating on his mother. Jillian gave him the cold shoulder but eventually re-initiated contact with her father when she was in college and maintained a good relationship with him as an adult.

Maxwell got a job in the teaching career and was a high school history teacher for many years. He loved being a father figure more than anything. When Zoe died, Maxwell continued to live in Memosa Bay where he met a young reporter named Shandi Mills who was his second chance at having a family. They hit it off and eventually married. Shandi became pregnant and Maxwell was again delighted to welcome another daughter into the world named Janine. Janine was just a toddler when Maxwell passed on from old age. He left behind a train set that Janine still builds on to this day to feel connected to him though she can't remember him at all.

GAVIN'S FAMILY LINE

Noelle Wellington was a popular girl, everyone said she looked like her mother (the 'Wellington' look) and she was kind and beautiful. She often tried to get her grumpy cousin, Jillian out to socialize and had limited success. Despite her popularity, Noelle didn't ever have time for boyfriends, was too involved with making friends but never let any guys get over the romantic finish line, much to Gavin's relief. She was accepted into the Raul S. Cosgrove Scholarship Program and lived in the house at Academie Le Tour in college. Lawrence Orbinson, son of the mayor at the time and an eligible bachelor of the Hoh Fram fraternity set his sights on her after meeting her at one of the frat's parties. They knew each other because Lawrence had dated her younger sister for a bit in high school but they weren't very close. It turned out they had a lot more in common than he ever did with Bree. Right before graduation, he proposed to Noelle who eagerly accepted. They were married on a beach in Twikkii Island and more info on the family they created can be read in the Orbinson post.

Noelle had a cushy enough life that she didn’t need to work and didn’t while her children grew up. Now that she has an empty nest she has started looking into a law career.

Levi Welllington (Lee), Bree's twin also has the Wellington look and he was one of those guys that doesn't really get onto anyone's radar. He just...existed in high school. Maggie Orbinson once let him make out with her when they were teenagers, and then another time in college and that led poor, hopeful, naive Lee to propose to her when he was a freshman at Academie Le Tour. Maggie rejected him outright and then Lee felt bitter about love for a few years. Lee bought a pet womrat named Alby to comfort him in his heartbreak. Weird, but effective, for by the time he was about to graduate he noticed his old friend, Willow Calhoun was looking really good and she in fact had a thing for Lee as well. Maybe it was his affection toward his womrat? He let Alby free before leaving college since womrats are immortal. Willow and Lee both graduated with a degree in biology. Lee opted to go into the Medical Profession while Willow went into the Sciences for a career. They married and had two sons whom are named Cypress and Cedar.

Breana Wellington (Bree), Lee's twin, was a mischievous little girl, quick to start a friendly food fight rather than eat whatever their mother had fixed for dinner. Bree has blue-grey eyes instead of that piercing green that is so prominent in the family genetics. She was kind of a little punk too. Despite her family's reputation for being friendly, Bree was more introverted and cared little for social pressures or norms and marched to the beat of her own drum by declaring at a young age she never wanted to have children. She had hardly any friends in high school; the only exception was Larry Orbinson who she dated briefly before he went to college, then married her sister and became the mayor.

Bree went to Sim State University and lived in an all girls dorm. She began to have a crush on her roommate's boyfriend but before she could feel guilty about it, her roommate discovered bisexuality and left him for his half-sister. His name was Phoenix Fox and Bree was there to console him after the unceremonious break-up. He too didn't want children and so Bree proposed to him on her graduation day. They settled down in a loft apartment in Scandalica City. Bree has a gig in the SCIA and gets to travel often while her husband with the cute butt enjoys being a professional gamer.

Cypress Wellington, eldest son of Lee and Willow, is on the quieter side but will get chatty with those he is comfortable around. He has a deep passion for listening to music and is a natural talent on the drums. Cypress inherited the 'Wellington look' and keeps his hair shaggy most of the time, letting it into his eyes. His quiet nature makes other think he's kind of spacey and withdrawn but he's just thinking really hard about music-related things. Cypress does not feel romantic attraction and has never had any significant other. He has a very close relationship with his best friend, Orion Loche, and is also good friends with his cousin, Nicholas. He has a good relationship with his little brother, Cedar and cares a lot for him. Cypress has taken up smoking because for once in his life he feels stressed out and has no interest in college coursework. He is a radio host at the SSU college station and currently lives in a house on campus. He is one of the main characters in my BotB /NoV sim stories.

Cedar Wellington is currently a teenager. He likes to draw and play football, watch sports and sass people. Cypress values his older brother's opinions since Cypress virtually raised him with their parents being so involved in research work. Cedar hates yard work but has to do it for any free time allowances from his parents. He is currently involved with a girl named Stacia Hart. Cedar doesn't have any internal dilemma or drama at the moment to speak of, though he did get into a random fistfight with his brother which he lost. I think Cypress was just overly grumpy that day and wasn't putting up with Cedar's snark.

MAXWELL'S FAMILY LINE

Jillian Wellington (now a Cosgrove) was a serious child and in her teenage years was considered a stick in the mud. She also felt like she was smarter than most people. She caught the attention of Pryce Cosgrove in high school and he pursued her without success and much to the horror of her cousin, Adrianna Orbisnon who had a flame for the heir of the Cosgrove estate. Jillian was exasperated at her other cousin, Noelle Wellington, for attempting to get Jillian to come to parties. Jillian focused on academia for the most part and turned her nose up and any frivolous activity. She attended Academie Le Tour and met Pierce Cosgrove, Pryce's twin who was much more serious as well. They respected each others seriousness and Pierce found her lack of interest in his money refreshing in comparison to other girls (like Maggie Orbinson). They began to date exclusively and after graduation were married in the orchard at the Cosgrove estate. Together they had one son named Felix. Jillian is a inventor in the Science career and she and her husband currently live in Isla Del Kashmire with their corgi named Tesla. They are pure nerds together.

Jonas Wellington was a quiet little boy and adored his father until the incident that broke his mother's heart. Jonas thought his father was a raging hypocrite for always stressing how important family was and then turning around and 'cheating' on Kerry. Jonas didn't really talk to his dad after that and even refused his father visits to his children later when he was an adult.

Jonas had a very best friend in Cheyanne Piper though was constantly picked on by her elder brother, Shaun Piper and given a rough time by her other three elder brothers who were overprotective of her, the only sister in the Piper family. Jonas attended Academie Le Tour and there he let Cheyanne know his true feelings for her. Cheyanne had begun to feel the same way about Jonas and they kissed in a blizzard. Jonas and Cheyanne were married and had four children--Sawyer, Amelia, Atticus, and Piper. Jonas has a career in architecture and lives in his mother's dream home by the sea where he was raised and in turn he raised his family. Kerry and his step-father lived with them until her death and then his step-father moved to assisted living.

Janine Wellington is a little girl who lives with her mother and half-sister in Memosa Bay in the house her Grandmother and Father lived in for many years before her. She has no relationship with her elder half-siblings due to immense age difference (Jillian and Jonas are both older than Janine's mother.) Janine has to step up and help clean the house because her mother is working all the time. She likes to jump rope, go to the park down the street, and play on her father's train set. Janine has the 'Wellington Look'.

Felix Cosgrove is Jillian and Peirce's only child. Being raised in a nerdy environment also influenced Felix to be nerdy and he's an enthusiastic star-gazer. Surprisingly he is not spoiled for being an only child by the name of Cosgrove, mostly because his parents were so serious and didn't cater to his every whim. He didn't have a lot of friends growing up, he'd consider the family dog, Tesla his friend. Victoria Orbinson was also a good friend but they drifted apart. Another person he considered a friend was Amanda Louis but she honestly scared him half the time trying to climb tall trees and jump in the deep end of the pool without a floaty.

Felix attended Academie Le Tour like his parents before him and there something happened that made this late bloomer go on full blast. He met Rhapsody Hart, a young woman so beautiful he would be writing poetry for days about it. He was intimidated by her, especially since she was into an older guy but once he got the courage to talk to her and really know her he discovered she was a late bloomer as well and they had ridiculously high chemistry and she up and left her boyfriend for him. It was a struggle to keep their grades up because they spent every waking moment with their hands on each other. They eventually got a room. They eventually got married.

Felix started a career in education because he thought the standards in Kashmire had been slipping, at least for public schools and wants to reform it. He currently lives in Memosa Bay and has two children with Rhapsody named Caleb and Colleen who are toddlers. Amanda Louis is still his only other friend and she still scares him by going out to the clubs and picking up randos or accidentally setting her parent's house on fire.

Sawyer Wellington, eldest son of Jonas and Cheyanne, is a dreamer. He dreams of traveling the world, opening multiple businesses but for as big as his ideas are he has trouble getting them off the ground. Sawyer has a large interest in film and literature, he's intelligent, and snagged the interest of Victoria Orbinson whom he is to marry soon. His dreams make his future in-laws skeptical of his place in their family because those dang Orbinsons care too much about their public perception and reputation and it's not the first time in their history they've worried about a future son-in-law damaging it.

Sawyer's best friend was Jimmy Calhoun but Jimmy doesn't remember this because Jimmy has amnesia. Sawyer also dated Mira Cosgrove (who is Jimmy's estranged fiancee) in high school and was taken aback when she recently propositioned him. He was weak and took her up on it because Mira is beautiful and while Victoria comes from an equally prestigious family, Mira had his heart first. Sawyer is going to find himself in a pickle reeeeeal soon and he hasn't even visited the first place on his dream vacation list! Sawyer is the only child of Jonas and Cheyanne not to have inherited the dominant brown eyes from their maternal grandfather, but instead the blue-green eyes of his maternal grandmother.

Amelia Wellington is obsessed with the ocean. This could be because she grew up next to the sea, but the girl had an entire ocean-themed room when she was a kid and took up surfing as a hobby. She even started a Swimming lesson program one summer for little girls in Isla Del Kashmire when she was a college freshman and ultimately her goal is to go into Marine Biology and buy a home with a beach front so she can go surfing whenever she wants. Amelia once had the romantic attentions of Jimmy Calhoun but Sawyer put a stop to that because he thought his best friend and little sister would make a weird couple.

Amelia is a twin to Atticus, and ever since he's grown his hair out they like to braid each others hair when they visit home. She attends Sim State University and Victoria Orbinson was her roommate and future sister-in-law. She probably introduced her roommate and elder brother at one point so that's her fault.

Atticus Wellington is audio-fixated. Like his sister he is obsessed, but only with music. He collects every record he can and shuts himself away in his room to listen to music. He knows how to play drums because his father taught him, land like his grandfather taught his father, though he never got a chance to meet Maxwell due to his father's grudge. He currently attends Academie Le Tour and is engaged to Iago Sanchez. Atticus is kind of a hipster about things too but he gets along well with all his siblings.

Piper Wellington is named for her Mother's family surname. Piper isn't very noticeable and we can probably chalk that up to lack of self-confidence. She is the baby of the family but that doesn't mean her parents exclusively doted on her, not when she had so many other older siblings that were extroverted. She guesses she is good at chess and she likes to read romance books but other than that she has no distinguishing hobbies or traits. She was the only child to inherit her father's dark hair color. Piper has no romantic interests at this time, she has just gone off to college at Academie Le Tour. maybe she will discover some newfound confidence or hobbies there!

@Emperor Crat, thank you so much! Well I will say that they wouldn't be as nearly as distinctive without the aid of custom content, at least in pictures so a big thanks to the community creators over the years for making sure I could have over a hundred pixels with multiple looks over the years.

Also, my files were retrieved and my hood is safe, only a month was lost but I hadn't been playing a lot, mostly taking pics for my stories so it wasn't much lost from my last back up. More families histories and characters to come!

Well at least you had a backup, I make two backups now days, one of them is a backup of the most recent game, each time I quit next thing I do is I back up to an external HD. I do this because I used to not do them at all and after I had to start over three times, I figured I would be more careful.

Losing anything is not good, that you didn't lose too much is really good. I am glad that you are back.

While not the oldest family or most impressive in the region the Calhouns at first just seemed to get by but various branches of the family have made names for themselves throughout the years. The Core family started with Martin Calhoun, his wife Cindy, and their teenage daughter, Poppy. As time went on they had a son named Ash.

Martin was a cop in the Isla Del Kashmire Police Department. He was a gruff man that liked to play poker with his cop buddies and spent time raking leaves just to have moments to himself.

Cindy was a high school teacher however she was always depressed and was in and out of different teaching jobs due to bad performance, her only friend was the pastor. They had a son named Ash together, and much later in their lives so Ash and his sister had a wide age gap and didn't get a chance to bond or be that close.

POPPY'S FAMILY

Poppy was a quirky sim that was very outspoken and always had been interested in science and breaking the status quo. She eventually became a mad scientist. She moved in with Collin Piper, the eldest son of the Pipers and continued the theme of plant-named children like her and her brother. Her three plant-named kids are Elm and Willow (twins) and Fern Calhoun. She and Collin technically didn't get married until Elm and Willow were in elementary school, it was just something they had put off for a long time due to being busy with other things and had confidence that they would love each other until the end of their days. She also elected to keep her name surname when they got married and Collin took it instead. They lived with Collin's parents house for a long time and then had to forcibly move across the street to a new house when the hold home was condemned for being on a sinkhole*.

Both Poppy and Collin have since passed away in game but they'd be proud to know they have a legacy of of descendants full of curiosity and creativity.

Elm Calhoun went to SSU and was in the Hoh Fruhm frat too. He graduated and did some politicking afterward, eventually became a court judge of the region. His two best bros in college were Lawrence Orbinson and Pryce Cosgrove. Elm is kind of a cocky bastard and very self-involved, he is also power-hungry. He's taken advantage of the rift in Pryce and Lawrence's friendship to run for Mayor of Isla Del Kashmire against Lawrence. He married Harmony Hart and has three sons with her - Nicholas, Shane, and Kit. One thing that may seem surprising is that he has quite the green thumb though he doesn't have time to garden. His mother made him and his twin sister garden a lot when they were kids, partially because their names are plant-related and Poppy wanted them to have a theme.

Willow married Lee Wellington and they are in the science and medical careers, obsessing over research to advance their fields and have gained academic notoriety. Willow herself is a top secret researcher in the science career. She carried on the family tradition and named her two sons Cypress and Cedar after trees (more info on them in the Wellington Family post). Willow can come off as stubborn because she thinks she knows all the facts and it takes solid proof proving she is wrong before she'll admit to it. Unlike her brother, she does find time to maintain a garden as an escape from stress. She strongly resembles her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Piper with her red hair, blue-green eyes, and freckles.

Fern Calhoun graduated from SSU and works as a sports journalist while living with her long time boyfriend, Antonio Sanchez, in Memosa Bay. Fern is kind of flaky and so isn't invited to many family events since usually doesn't show up anyway. She's happy living with her boyfriend and having dance parties in her underwear whenever she feels like it. She likes to cook, craft, and geek-out over baseball. She is significantly younger than her older siblings (an 'oops' baby for Poppy)

Nicholas Calhoun is Elm and Harmony's eldest son. Many do not know he is a Calhoun as his introduces himself with his mother's maiden name to spite his father. He can be reckless and impulsive, and not very attentive to other's feelings but has slowly, over time, learned to change that aspect about himself since he recognizes it as something undesirable in his father's character. You can surmise that Nick and his dad have a rocky relationship at best due to Elm's habit of trying to mold his eldest son into a person he isn't. Nick is a talented painter but his parents' disapproval hindered his plans to go to art school and instead he joined Hoh Fruhm fraternity and went into pre-law like just as his Dad ultimately wanted. He also has some substantial talent in playing guitar. His best friends are Orion Loche and his cousin, Cypress Wellington. He used to be best friends with Illyana Sanchez when they were young, nearly inseparable but lost her friendship in their pre-teen years due to his learned knack for being an asshole and again in their teen years when he made a rash assumption and hurt Illyana's feelings.

Nick likes to laugh and cause others to laugh, he rarely takes things seriously and has a easy-going, laissez faire temperament. He's very charming and charismatic which has done him well with impressing women in college, it doesn't hurt that he's good-looking either with his mother's fawn brown hair, freckles and his father's blue-green eyes. He was accepted into Hoh Fruhm as a legacy member because his father attended and was a senior rank in the greek society. He grew his hair long and got his eyebrow pierced to annoy his father who prefers a clean-cut style.

Nick is one of the main characters in my sim stories.




Shane Calhoun is shy and has interests in computers and robotics. He is treated better than his elder brother by his parents, probably because he doesn't rebel as much. He attends SSU in the mathematics program. Despite being the middle child he feels like it's best his parents' attentions are not focused on him, he feels bad that his dad bullies Nick a lot but at the same time thinks Nick's does a little too much to push their dad's buttons. Shane isn't very engaging with others and often finds conversation mundane if it isn't about his own interests, this is an aspect he may have learned from being around his father, and as the favored son doesn't see a problem with it.



Kit Calhoun is a teenager who looks up to his elder brothers, and even holds Nick's guitar safely while he is at college and learned to play it too. He admires Shane's intelligence and Nick's fun-loving attitude, and tries to emulate that while trying to find something unique in himself so he isn't just copying his elder brothers traits.



ASH'S FAMILY

Ash, Martin and Cindy's second child, went to college at Sim State University and was a top member of the Hoh Fruhm Fraternity. After graduation he started a career in law enforcement and ended up working his way up to became the Captain Hero of Isla Del Kashmire. He married his childhood sweetheart, Natalie Francis and she became a high-ranking court judge for the region. Together they put all the lingering syndicates and criminals in Kashmire out of business and Kashmire was clean of crime for good. They are very close family friends of Pryce and Adriana Cosgrove whom they went to college with and were in the Greek society with. Ash and Natalie own a cabin at Three Lakes where they like to vacation, it is completely cut-off technology wise, and they've encouraged their family to appreciate nature. Ash likes to go on early morning runs and bird-watch.

Jimmy Calhoun is named for his maternal grandfather, James. He is the eldest son of Ash and Natalie and has recently suffered a mysterious accident* which has left him with amnesia. He can't remember his past but only knows his present relationships, or so what he is told. There is a pretty young woman he is supposedly engaged to named Mira Cosgrove but he doesn't feel like can trust her. Jimmy was a popular legacy member of Hoh Fruhm Fraternity but he wouldn't know it. He is delighted to know his family owns a cabin in Three Lakes.

Marty Calhoun is named for his paternal grandfather, Martin. He is kind of a nerd and soft spoken but still rather social, you just may have to ask him to speak up. He is completely love-sick with his childhood friend, Melinda Cosgrove and wasted no time in proposing to her once they entered college. He attends SSU and lives in an all-boys dorm. His goal is to get his brother's memory back, he switched his biology focus to the brain to see what he can do for Jimmy.

Charlotte Calhoun is the only daughter of Ash and Natalie. She is pretty, kind, and very artistically talented, she's been painting since she was a little girl and her parent's home is like an art gallery. She doesn't always see eye to eye with her twin brother, Charlie but they get along well. She is engaged to Marshall Cosgrove, and she thinks Marshall is quite a catch and loves him, even though they don't have much in common; they've known each other since they were tots. She also doesn't want to become a trophy wife which would be easy to do considering the sheer wealth the Cosgroves have and Marshall is set to inherit it all. At the same time she also doesn't want to disappoint her parents by breaking it off because they have been visualizing this union for years. Her favorite time is when she goes with her family to their cabin at three lakes where she can do mini paintings. She currently attends Academie LeTour and is working toward an art degree.

Charlie Calhoun is Charlotte's twin and is quite the body builder and know-it-all. He actually started hitting the gym in high school because his older brothers would always challenge him to wrestle and they would win. They don't challenge him anymore because of his obvious superior physique. Since there are no more Cosgrove kids for his parents to try and hook him up with, he was left to pursue his own romantic interests and proposed to Amelia Wellington during Mira Cosgrove's Garden Party last year. Charlotte is slightly jealous of her twin for this romantic freedom he is allowed. Not that she can't choose her own partner but rather their parents don't have any hopes or expectations tied to Charlie's relationships.

*Sinkhole = Lot was unplayable after a number of years and the only way to continue playing the Calhouns was to move them out.
*Accident = Jimmy was accidentally put into the lot bin on an occupied lot right after graduating and his character data shredded, rendering his memories null.

Another really fine update and as usual I think your Sims look great, with nice faces and I like the outfits that they are wearing.

Question: how do you do the spoiler thing with the custom text?

Thanks for reading, Lordtyger9. The Calhouns have some pretty good genes running around for red-head and brunette sims. I also added a nice default replacement for maxis eyes awhile back and I think all of Ash's family uses it because they all had maxis eyes in the beginning.

To do custom spoilers you put infobutton=custom title in brackets and then replace 'custom title' with whatever you want so then the spoiler button displays 'Show custom title'.
