I remember going to Toys R' Us in 1989 and buying my Sega Genesis with Altered Beast. I carried it home holding it tightly on the NYC Subway. I still have it in my closet.

I never had a Sega Genesis in real life (but I do remember watching demos of Sonic the Hedgehog at Sam's Club long ago...), but I just this tagged for later.

One thing, though, you say this requires Get to Work, but working consoles were introduced by City Living.

Yes! Now all I need is a classic tube TV and an SNES console. I don't care that Genesis does what Nintendont, I don't need any silly blast processing

(I actually somehow missed all that back in the day. In fact, I didn't actually get into console gaming myself until the Nintendo 64.)
