I've noticed that lyrics are beginning to be posted in the "What Are You Listening To?" thread, and in an effort to keep the community organized, it makes far more sense to start a new thread for that purpose. And so, post your favorite lyrics here! Poetic, funny, lyrical... we're not judgmental . I'll start.
"I Was Unconscious, It Was a Dream," by Slow Club I'll let you say I love you when I know I'll never say it back You open up the floodgates and wipe the village clean off the map We sat with the bailies and royalty into the part where everything is free And you inch yourself closer on that leather bench, I stare at the frames While you see the banquet scene And all of this because I've been screaming girls' names in the night I was unconscious, it was a dream, just let it die, die, die And you ask me to get blind-eyed drunk so I'll sleep the whole night long And I'll ask you to stop picking fights 'cause you'll miss me when I'm gone The rope, it broke and I fell into the canyon I run my hand down the curve of your spine And your heart it aches for the lives that you will never lead We come and go, but someday I will find the time To lie beside you for one whole night To lie beside you for one whole night |

Hello- Evanscence
Playground school bell rings again Rain clouds come to play again Has no one told you she's not breathing? Hello I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to Hello If I smile and don't believe Soon I know I'll wake from this dream Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken Hello I am the lie living for you so you can hide Don't cry Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping Hello I'm still here All that's left of yesterday |
Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen
I've heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the lord, But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this: the forth, the fifth, The minor fall, the major lift, The baffled king composing Hallelujah What's so cool about that (warning: major music geeking ahead) is that when the lyrics say "the forth, the fifth" etc this is actually what the chords of the song are doing (I IV V vi IV V III vi). Edit:typo |
My Brother he taught me how to fly My Papa he taught me how to cry Wait for me, wait for me to show you Wait for me, wait for me to show you My Mamma she touched me down my soul And I feel it I feel it most So show me your soul and I'll show you mine So show me your soul and I'll show you mine So who's gonna love you now baby? who's gonna love you now baby? When you're done fighting that war at sea Get on that ship and sail back to me Who .. ow wow ow! So who's gonna love you now baby? Who's gonna love you now baby? When you're done fighting that war at sea Get on that ship and sail back to me So who's gonna love you now baby? Who's gonna love you now baby? When you're done fighting that war at sea Get on that ship and sail back to me Get on that ship and sail back to me "Brother," by Little Birdy. |
Suppose I called you up tonight and told you that I loved you
And suppose I said "I wanna come back home". And suppose I cried and said "I think I finally learned my lesson" And I'm tired a-spendin' all my time alone. If I told you that I realised you're all I ever wanted And it's killin' me to be so far away. Would you tell me that you loved me too and would we cry together? Or would you simply laugh at me and say: "I told you so, oh I told you so I told you some day you come crawling back and asking me to take you in I told you so, but you had to go Now I found somebody new and you will never break my heart in two again". If I got down on my knees and told you I was yours forever Would you get down on yours too and take my hand? Would we get that old time feelin', would we laugh and talk for hours The way we did when our love first began? Would you tell me that you'd missed me too and that you'd been so lonely And you waited for the day that I returned. And we'd live in love forever and that I'm your one and only Or would you say the tables finally turned? Would you say: "I told you so, oh I told you so I told you some day you come crawling back and asking me to take you in I told you so, but you have to go Now I found somebody new and you will never break my heart in two again". "Now I found somebody new and you will never break my heart in two again". Carrie Underwood - I Told You So |
"When I Go," by Slow Club If we're both not married by twenty-two, could I be so bold and ask you? If we're both not married by twenty-three, will you make my year and ask me? If we're both not married by twenty-four, pass me those kneepads and I'll get on the floor If we're both not married by twenty-five, I hope that there's some childish spark still alive 'Cause there are so many lessons that I just never cared to learn And there are so many questions that still burn Like will you hold my hand when I go? Will you hold my hand when I go? If I get to thirty and I don't have a wife, I'll ask you nicely but I won't ask twice If I get to forty and I don't have a spouse, I'll fashion you a letter and I'll send it to your house If I get to sixty will you let me slip away into an armchair for the rest of my days? 'Cause you've got your family and I've got mine The love that we share is for another time 'Cause there are so many lessons that I just never cared to learn And there are so many questions that still burn Like will you hold my hand when I go? Will you hold my hand when I go? |

She Will Be Loved - Maroon 5 Beauty queen of only eighteen She had some trouble with herself He was always there to help her She always belonged to someone else I drove for miles and miles And wound up at your door I've had you so many times but somehow I want more I don't mind spending everyday Out on your corner in the pouring rain Look for the girl with the broken smile Ask her if she wants to stay awhile And she will be loved She will be loved Tap on my window knock on my door I want to make you feel beautiful I know I tend to get so insecure It doesn't matter anymore It's not always rainbows and butterflies It's compromise that moves us along, yeah My heart is full and my door's always open You can come anytime you want I don't mind spending everyday Out on your corner in the pouring rain Look for the girl with the broken smile Ask her if she wants to stay awhile And she will be loved And she will be loved And she will be loved And she will be loved I know where you hide Alone in your car Know all of the things that make you who you are I know that goodbye means nothing at all Comes back and begs me to catch her every time she falls Tap on my window knock on my door I want to make you feel beautiful I don't mind spending everyday Out on your corner in the pouring rain Look for the girl with the broken smile Ask her if she wants to stay awhile And she will be loved And she will be loved And she will be loved And she will be loved Please don't try so hard to say goodbye Please don't try so hard to say goodbye Yeah I don't mind spending everyday Out on your corner in the pouring rain Try so hard to say goodbye |

Wish We Were Older - Metro Station
I wish we were older... I wish we were older... I wish we were older... Keep your body moving, girl The beat is thumpin' Go ahead and let them talk Their words mean nothing I know you're scared But don't leave this place Just turn around And let me see your face And now you're crying And you hold me And you whisper in my ear Whoa-e, oh-we, oh-oh Oh-we, oh-we, oh-oh Whoa-e, oh-we, oh-oh I wish we were older Whoa-e, oh-we, oh-oh Oh-we, oh-we, oh-oh Whoa-e, oh-we, oh-oh I wish we were older I wish we were older Tonight we'll touch And they won't know I know you're dying To take off your clothes Just trust in me I'll never run away You kiss my lips And you taste my pain And while I'm pushing and I'm moving Somehow you manage to say... Whoa-e, whoa-e, oh-oh Oh-we, oh-we, oh-oh Whoa-e, whoa-e, oh-oh I wish we were older Whoa-e, oh-we, oh-oh Oh-we, oh-we, oh-oh Whoa-e, whoa-e, oh-oh I wish we were older Just take my hand I'll never let go Just take my hand I'll never let go (I love you and I need you) Just take my hand (Now We're dying and We're crying) I'll never let go (But I kiss you and I touch you) Just take my hand (And you hold me closer) I'll never... (You scream at me and say) Whoa-e, whoa-e, oh-oh Oh-we, oh-we, oh-oh Whoa-e, whoa-e, oh-oh I wish we were older Whoa-e, oh-we, oh-oh Oh-we, oh-we, oh-oh Whoa-e, whoa-e, oh-oh I wish we were older But don't cry now And don't cry now |
"I Can't Decide" by the Scissor Sisters. Very fun song, here's an excerpt.
It's a b**** convincing people to like you If I stop now call me a quitter, If lies were cats you'd be a litter. Pleasing everyone isn't like you Dancing jigs until I'm crippled Slug ten drinks I won't get pickled I've got to hand it to you You've played by all the safe rules It takes the truth to fool me And now you've made me angry I can't decide whether you should live or die. Oh, you'll probably go to heaven, please don't hang your head and cry No wonder why my heart feels dead inside, It's cold and hard and petrified. Lock the doors and close the blinds. we're goin' for a ride! Oh I could throw you in the lake, Feed you poison birthday cake, I won't deny I'm gonna miss you when you're gone. Oh I could bury you alive, But you might crawl out with a knife And kill me when I'm sleeping, that's why I can't decide whether you should live or die. Oh, you'll probably go to heaven, please don't hang your head and cry No wonder why my heart feels dead inside, It's cold and hard and petrified. Lock the doors and close the blinds. we're goin' for a ride! |
Masochism Tango - Tom Lehrer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TytGOeiW0aE I ache for the touch of your lips, dear, But much more for the touch of your whips, dear. You can raise welts Like nobody else, As we dance to the masochism tango. Let our love be a flame, not an ember, Say its me that you want to dismember. Blacken my eye, Set fire to my tie, As we dance to the masochism tango. At your command Before you here I stand, My heart is in my hand. ecch! Its here that I must be. My heart entreats, Just hear those savage beats, And go put on your cleats And come and trample me. Your heart is hard as stone or mahogany, Thats why Im in such exquisite agony. My soul is on fire, Its aflame with desire, Which is why I perspire When we tango. You caught my nose In your left castanet, love, I can feel the pain yet, love, Evry time I hear drums. And I envy the rose That you held in your teeth, love, With the thorns underneath, love, Sticking into your gums. Your eyes cast a spell that bewitches. The last time I needed twenty stitches To sew up the gash That you made with your lash, As we danced to the masochism tango. Bash in my brain, And make me scream with pain, Then kick me once again, And say well never part. I know too well Im underneath your spell, So, darling, if you smell Something burning, its my heart. Excuse me! Take your cigarette from its holder, And burn your initials in my shoulder. Fracture my spine, And swear that youre mine, As we dance to the masochism tango. |
If There's A Rocket, Tie Me To It - Snow Patrol Two weeks later like a surplus reprieve I found a hair the length of yours on my sleeve I wound it round and round my finger so tight It turned purple and a pulse formed inside And I knew the beat 'cause it matched your own beat I still remember it from our chest to chest and feet to feet The easy silence then was a sweet relief to this hush Of ovens, aeroplanes and of distant car horns A fire a fire, you can only take what you can carry A pulse your pulse, it's the only thing I can remember I break you don't, I was always set to self-destruct though The fire the fire, it cracks and burns like primal music I said I knew the beat 'cause it matched your own beat It's become my engine my own source of heat The sea between us only amplifies the sound waves Every hum and echo and crash paints my cave A fire a fire, you can only take what you can carry A pulse your pulse, it's the only thing I can remember I break you don't, I was always set to self-destruct though The fire the fire, it cracks and burns like primal music A fire a fire, you can only take what you can carry A pulse your pulse, it's the only thing I can remember I break you don't, I was always set to self-destruct though The fire the fire, it cracks and burns like primal music ______ Set Fire To The Third Bar - Snow Patrol ft. Martha Wainwright I find the map and draw a straight line Over rivers, farms, and state lines The distance from 'A' to where you'd be It's only finger-lengths that I see I touch the place where I'd find your face My finger in creases of distant dark places I hang my coat up in the first bar There is no peace that I've found so far The laughter penetrates my silence As drunken men find flaws in science Their words mostly noises Ghosts with just voices Your words in my memory Are like music to me I'm miles from where you are, I lay down on the cold ground I, I pray that something picks me up And sets me down in your warm arms After I have travelled so far We'd set the fire to the third bar We'd share each other like an island Until exhausted, close our eyelids And dreaming, pick up from The last place we left off Your soft skin is weeping A joy you can't keep in I'm miles from where you are, I lay down on the cold ground And I, I pray that something picks me up and sets me down in your warm arms I'm miles from where you are, I lay down on the cold ground and I, I pray that something picks me up and sets me down in your warm arms |

Buddy Holly by Weezer What's with these homies dissin' my girl? Why do they gotta front? What did we ever do to these guys That made them so violent? Woo-hoo, but you know I'm yours. Woo-hoo, and I know you're mine. Woo-hoo, and that's for all of time. [chorus] Woo-ee-oo, I look just like Buddy Holly. Oh-oh, and you're Mary Tyler Moore. I don't care what they say about us anyway. I don't care 'bout that. Don't you ever fear, I'm always near. I know that you need help. Your tongue is twisted, your eyes are slit. You need a guardian. Woo-hoo, and you know I'm yours. Woo-hoo, and I know you're mine. Woo-hoo, and that's for all of time. [chorus] I don't care 'bout that. Bang! Bang! Knock on the door, another big bang, get down on the floor. Oh No! What do we do? Don't look now but I lost my shoe. I can't run and I can't kick. What's a matter babe, are you feelin' sick? What's a matter, what's a matter, what's a matter you? What's a matter babe, are you feelin' blue? Oh-oh-oh! And that's for all of time. (x2) [chorus] I don't care 'bout that. (x3) |
"Walking By," by Something Corporate Your granddad left home for the circus, he was young just like me with hope to explore He married a girl in Virginia, she could swing the trapeze, they could sleep on the floor Your mother was born in December on the one sunny day that winter gave up And her warm summer eyes, they flickered like fireflies as they stared at the world So why do you leave these stories unfinished? My Cheshire cat doorstop with tears in your eyes And why do you look when you've already found it? What did you find that would leave you walking by? She was raised in a New England village but she moved to LA with her firefly stare And you loved Sunset Strip when it sparkled, you grew up and you sparkled But why don't you care? And why do you leave these stories unfinished? My Cheshire cat doorstop with tears in your eyes And why do you look when you've already found me? What did you find that would leave you walking by? And these nights I get high just from breathing When I lie here with you, I'm sure that I'm real Like that firework over the freeway I could stay here all day, but that's not how you feel And why do you leave these questions unanswered? The circus awaits and you're already gone My Cheshire cat doorstop with fear in your smile What makes it so easy for you to be walking by? And what did I do that you can't seem to want me? And why do we lie here and whisper goodbyes? Where can I go that your picture won't haunt me? What makes it so easy for you to be walking by? |

Genitorturers 120 Days
Unfathomable depths of fanaticism and depravity Do our choosing without hesitation... Give yourself over to sin. Your one chance for redemption shall come when the spark is ignited within. Forced to sever the ties to this world which is bound by lies. Your free from original sin, forced to find what was hidden within. Breathe you in; lead you out. Inflame your passions within our depravity, give yourself over to sin. You won't emerge without transformation... Flesh our soul will win. Forced to sever the ties to this world which is bound by lies. You're free from original sin, forced to find what is hidden within. I am in command Forced to lay, locked away, made to serve... another 120 days. This will even prevent masturbation You rise in the presence of our libertinage, taste all the pleasures of sin. Your one desire controlled by perversion, compelled by lust within. Forced to sever the ties, to this world which is bound by lies. You're free from original sin... Release what was hidden within. Forced to lay, locked away, made to serve... Another 120 days. I slide a glance in your direction Just what you need and then you'll want to say "fill my hole with your affection" Conditioned to begin 10 more hours to save your flowers, or watch them wilt away We'll hunt you, we want you Where forever is one day |
Carly Simon - You're So Vain Lyrics
You walked into the party Like you were walking onto a yacht Your hat strategically dipped below one eye Your scarf it was apricot You had one eye in the mirror As you watched yourself gavotte And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner They'd be your partner, and You're so vain You probably think this song is about you You're so vain I'll bet you think this song is about you Don't you? Don't you? You had me several years ago When I was still quite naive Well, you said that we made such a pretty pair And that you would never leave But you gave away the things you loved And one of them was me I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee Clouds in my coffee, and You're so vain You probably think this song is about you You're so vain I'll bet you think this song is about you Don't you? Don't you? I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee Clouds in my coffee, and You're so vain You probably think this song is about you You're so vain I'll bet you think this song is about you Don't you? Don't you? Well, I hear you went up to Saratoga And your horse naturally won Then you flew your Lear jet up to Nova Scotia To see the total eclipse of the sun Well, you're where you should be all the time And when you're not, you're with Some underworld spy or the wife of a close friend Wife of a close friend, and You're so vain You probably think this song is about you You're so vain I'll bet you think this song is about you Don't you? Don't you? |

I wish you would step back from that, ledge my friend
You could, cut ties, with all the lies you've been livin' in And,if you don't want to see me again, I would understand I would understand The angry boy,a bit too insane, icing over a secret pain You know you don't belong You're the first to fight, you're way to loud You're a flash of light,on the burial shroud I know something's wrong Well everyone I know has got a reason To say Put the past away! I wish you would step back from that, ledge my friend You could, cut ties, with all the lies you've been livin' in And,if you don't want to see me again, I would understand I would understand Well,he's on the table, and he's gone to code And I do not think anyone knows, what they're doing here And your friends have left, you've been dismissed I never thought it would come to this....And I....Want you to know Everyone's got to face down the demons Maybe today,WE CAN PUT THE PAST AWAY |

You could be happy and I won't know But you weren't happy the day I watched you go And all the things that I wished I had not said Are played in loops 'till it's madness in my head Is it too late to remind you how we were But not our last days of silence, screaming, blur Most of what I remember makes me sure I should have stopped you from walking out the door You could be happy, I hope you are You made me happier than I'd been by far Somehow everything I own smells of you And for the tiniest moment it's all not true Do the things that you always wanted to Without me there to hold you back, don't think, just do More than anything I want to see you, girl Take a glorious bite out of the whole world |
"Let It Be Me," by Ray LaMontagne There comes a time, a time in everyone's life When nothing seems to go their way When nothing seems to turn out right There may come a time you just can't seem to find your place For every door you open it seems like you get two slammed in your face That's when you need someone, someone that you, you can call When all your faith is gone and it feels like you can't go on Let it be me, let it be me, if it's a friend you need Let it be me, let it be me It feels you're always coming up last, pockets full of nothing Ain't got no chance, no matter where you turn You ain't got no place to stand, you reach out for something And they slap your hand, I remember all too well Just how it feels to be all alone, feels like you'd give anything For just a little place you could call your own That's when you need someone, someone that you, you can call When all your faith is gone and it feels like you can't go on Let it be me, let it be me, if it's a friend you need Let it be me, let it be me, let it be me, let it be me If it's a friend you need, let it be me, let it be me Let it be me -- I sing to this in shower all the time . His voice is so husky that I can hardly hear how bad I am. |
"Our Song", by Dala.
I've got a feeling I call my music I've always wanted to share with you. It's in my heart and I'll never lose it. It's something that I was born to do. I've been silent for so long, The world is waiting for my song. La-la la la, la-la la la. There's a melody in you somewhere I know you hear it when you're alone. There's so much music already out there It's time for you to create your own. You've been silent for so long, The world is waiting for your song. La-la la la, la-la la la. We have all been hiding our voices. We have all got something to sing about. We've been silent for so long, The world is waiting for our song. |
Control - Puddle of Mudd
LANGUAGE! I love the way you look at me I feel the pain you place inside Lock me up inside ya dirty cage While Im alone inside my mind I like to teach you all the rules Id get to see them set in stone I like it when you chain me to the bed There ya secrets never shone [chorus] I need to feel you You need to feel me I cant control you Youre not the one for me, no I cant control you You cant control me I need to feel you So whys it involve I love the way you rape my skin I feel the hate you place inside I need to get your voice out of my head Cause Im the guy youll never find Im faking all of the rules Theres no expressions on your face Im hoping some day you will let me go Release me from my dirty cage [chorus] I need to feel you You need to feel me I cant control you Youre not the one for me, no I cant control you You cant control me I need to feel you So whys it involve...you and me.. [repeat 4x] I love the way you look at me I love the way you smack my ass I love the dirty things you do I have control of you [chorus] I need to feel you You need to feel me I cant control you Youre not the one for me, no I cant control you You cant control me I need to feel you So whys it involve you and me.. [repeat 4x] Youre not the one for me, no |
"Hallelujah," by Leonard Cohen. Now I've heard there was a secret chord That David played, and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this The fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you She tied you To a kitchen chair She broke your throne, and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Baby I have been here before I know this room, I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew you. I've seen your flag on the marble arch Love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah There was a time you let me know What's really going on below But now you never show it to me, do you? And remember when I moved in you The holy dove was moving too And every breath we drew was Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah You say I took the name in vain I don't even know the name But if I did, well really, what's it to you? There's a blaze of light In every word It doesn't matter which you heard The holy or the broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you And even though It all went wrong I'll stand before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah |
Sweet and Low Augustana Anywhere you go, anyone you meet, Remember that your eyes can be your enemies, I said, well hell is so close And heaven's out of reach I ain't giving up quite yet, I've got too much to lose Hold me down, sweet and low, little girl Hold me down, sweet and low, and I'll carry you home Hold me down, sweet and low, little girl Hold me down, and I'll carry you home Rain is gonna fall, the sun is gonna shine, The wind is gonna blow, the water's gonna rise She said, when the day comes, look into my eyes No one's giving up quite yet, We've got too much to lose Hold me down, sweet and low, little girl Hold me down, sweet and low, and I'll carry you home Hold me down, sweet and low, little girl Hold me down, And I'll carry you all the way, You say you're fine But you're still young, and out of line All I need is to turn around, To make it last, to make it count You're gonna make the same mistakes That put my momma in her grave I don't wanna be alone Hold me down, sweet and low, little girl Hold me down, sweet and low, and I'll carry you home Hold me down, sweet and low, little girl Hold me down, and I'll carry you home |
"Cheers Darlin" by Damien Rice Cheers darlin' Here's to you and your lover boy Cheers darlin' I got years to wait around for you Cheers darlin' I've got your wedding bells in my ear Cheers darlin' You give me three cigarettes to smoke my tears away And I die when you mention his name And I lied, I should have kissed you When we were running in the rain What am I darlin'? A whisper in your ear? A piece of your cake? What am I, darlin? The boy you can fear? Or your biggest mistake? Cheers darlin' Here's to you and your lover man Cheers darlin' I just hang around and eat from a can Cheers darlin' I got a ribbon of green on my guitar Cheers darlin' I got a beauty queen To sit not very far from me I die when he comes around To take you home I'm too shy I should have kissed you when we were alone What am I darlin'? A whisper in your ear? A piece of your cake? What am I, darlin? The boy you can fear? Or your biggest mistake? Oh what am I? What am I darlin'? I got years to wait... |
Oh, I adore that song, FrauleinSlim. In fact, I adore anything by Damien Rice.

His voice and his lyrics are amazing. He's probably my favourite artist, and if not my number one favourite, my number two. I wish I could see one of his shows.
|
Yeah..and he's so original. That's what I like most about him. What is your favourite D.R. song?
Mine is a tie between Cheers Darlin', The Animals Were Gone, The Blower's Daughter and Dogs |
Hm, I lovelovelove "Amie", and I think it's just absolutely beautiful, but I also adore "The Blower's Daughter", "Grey Room", "Accidental Babies", and every other song he's made.
"Almost Lover," by A Fine Frenzy. Your fingertips across my skin The palm trees swaying in the wind Images You sang me Spanish lullabies The sweetest sadness in your eyes Clever trick Well, I never want to see you unhappy I thought you'd want the same for me Goodbye, my almost lover Goodbye, my hopeless dream I'm trying not to think about you Can't you just let me be? So long, my luckless romance My back is turned on you Should've known you'd bring me heartache Almost lovers always do We walked along a crowded street You took my hand and danced with me Images And when you left, you kissed my lips You told me you would never, never forget These images No Well, I'd never want to see you unhappy I thought you'd want the same for me Goodbye, my almost lover Goodbye, my hopeless dream I'm trying not to think about you Can't you just let me be? So long, my luckless romance My back is turned on you Should've known you'd bring me heartache Almost lovers always do I cannot go to the ocean I cannot drive the streets at night I cannot wake up in the morning Without you on my mind So you're gone and I'm haunted And I bet you are just fine Did I make it that Easy to walk right in and out Of my life? Goodbye, my almost lover Goodbye, my hopeless dream I'm trying not to think about you Can't you just let me be? So long, my luckless romance My back is turned on you Should have known you'd bring me heartache Almost lovers always do |
I love Almost Lover!!! I like the first music video better than the second one though.

"Belief," by Gavin Degraw Belief makes things real, makes things feel, feel alright Belief makes things true, things like you, you and I Tonight, you arrested my mind When you came to my defense With a knife in the shape of your mouth In the form of your body With the wrath of a god Oh, you stood by me, belief Builds from scratch, doesn't have to relax, it doesn't need space Long live the queen, and I'll be the king in the collar of grace Oh, tonight you arrested my mind When you came to my defense With a knife in the shape of your mouth In the form of your body With the wrath of a god Oh, you stood by me, belief I'm gonna yell it from the rooftops I'll wear a sign on my chest That's the least I could do It's the least I can do Tonight you arrested my mind When you came to my defense With a knife in the shape of your mouth In the form of your body With the wrath of a god Oh, you stood by me And I'll stand by my belief Oh, I'll stand by my belief |

John Mayer "Welcome to the real world", she said to me Condescendingly Take a seat Take your life Plot it out in black and white Well I never lived the dreams of the prom kings And the drama queens I'd like to think the best of me Is still hiding Up my sleeve They love to tell you Stay inside the lines That something's better On the other side I wanna run through the halls of my high school I wanna scream at the Top of my lungs I just found out there's no such thing as the real world just a lie you've got to rise above So the good boys and girls take the so called right track Faded white hats Grabbing credits Maybe transfers They read all the books but they can't find the answers And all of our parents They're getting older I wonder if they've wished for anything better While in their memories Tiny tragedies They love to tell you Stay inside the lines But something's better On the other side I wanna run through the halls of my high school I wanna scream at the Top of my lungs I just found out there's no such thing as the real world Just a lie you got to rise above I am invincible (x3) As long as I'm alive I wanna run through the halls of my high school I wanna scream at the Top of my lungs I just found out there's no such thing as the real world Just a lie you've got to rise above I just can't wait til my 10 year reunion I'm gonna bust down the double doors And when I stand on these tables before you You will know what all this time was for |
"The Scientist," by Coldplay.
Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry You don't know how lovely you are I had to find you Tell you I need you Tell you I've set you apart Tell me your secrets And ask me your questions Oh, let's go back to the start Running in circles Coming up tails Heads on the science apart Nobody said it was easy It's such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easy No one ever said it would be this hard Oh take me back to the start I was just guessing At numbers and figures Pulling the puzzles apart Questions of science Science and progress Do not speak as loud as my heart Oh tell me you love me Come back and haunt me Oh and I rush to the start Running in circles Chasing our tails Coming back as we are Nobody said it was easy Oh, it's such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easy No one ever said it would be so hard I’m going back to the start I used it as part of my speech on The Time Traveler's Wife, because I had a different interpretation of it to other people. |
^You get to do speeches on books like that for school?! So not fair! I've only gotten to do a speech on a book of my choosing (Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close) once throughout my entire high school career.
"A Song For You," by Donny Hathaway I've been so many places in my life and time I've sung a lot of songs, I've made some bad rhymes I've acted out my life on stages with ten thousand people watching But we're alone now, and I'm singing this song to you I know your image of me is what I hope to be I treated you unkindly, but darling, can't you see? There's no one more important to me, baby, can't you see through me? We were alone, and I was singing this song to you You taught me precious secrets of a true love withholding nothing You came out in front when I was hiding But now I'm so much better, and if my words don't come together Just listen to the melody, 'cause my love is in there, hiding I love you in a place where there's no space or time I love you for my life, you're a friend of mine And when my life is over, remember when we were together We were alone, and I was singing this song to you We were alone, and I was singing this song to you We were alone, and I was singing this song to you |

"Where the Road Meets the Sun," by Katie Herzig and Matthew Perryman Jones Angel wings spread over water-worn wishes Guarding the dreams and the things left unsaid Here we are wandering, aimlessly roaming Lovers who linger and never forget And when it's done we will walk where the road meets the sun Waiting for you by the Santa Maria How long must I stay with these letters from you? I don't know whether we'll end up together But I'll always know that our love is true And when it's done we will walk where the road meets the sun Don't disappear, darling, I want you Don't leave me here, and when the day comes I'll meet you here 'cause I know that wishes come true I'm finding my way back to you Angel wings spread over water-worn wishes Guarding the dreams and the things left unsaid And when it's done we will walk where the road meets the sun And when it's done we will walk where the road meets the sun -- My favorite song EVER. |
My Immortal by Evanescence, it's a really beautiful, emotional song...
I'm so tired of being here Suppressed by all my childish fears And if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave Your presence still lingers here And it won't leave me alone These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase [Chorus:] When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears And I held your hand through all of these years But you still have All of me You used to captivate me By your resonating light Now I'm bound by the life you left behind Your face it haunts My once pleasant dreams Your voice it chased away All the sanity in me These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears And I held your hand through all of these years But you still have All of me I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone But though you're still with me I've been alone all along When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears And I held you hand through all of these years But you still have All of me |
"Chelsea Hotel No. 2" by Leonard Cohen I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel, you were talking so brave and so sweet, giving me head on the unmade bed, while the limousines wait in the street. Those were the reasons and that was New York, we were running for the money and the flesh. And that was called love for the workers in song probably still is for those of them left. Ah but you got away, didn't you babe, you just turned your back on the crowd, you got away, I never once heard you say, I need you, I don't need you, I need you, I don't need you and all of that jiving around. I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel you were famous, your heart was a legend. You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception. And clenching your fist for the ones like us who are oppressed by the figures of beauty, you fixed yourself, you said, "Well never mind, we are ugly but we have the music." And then you got away, didn't you babe... I don't mean to suggest that I loved you the best, I can't keep track of each fallen robin. I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel, that's all, I don't even think of you that often. |
PixCii - that is one of my all time favourites :D
Make This Go On Forever - Snow Patrol Please don't let this turn into something it's not I can only give you everything I've got I can't be as sorry as you think I should But I still love you more than anyone else could All that I keep thinking throughout this whole flight Is it could take my whole damn life to make this right This splintered mast I'm holding on won't save me long Because I know fine well that what I did was wrong The last girl and the last reason to make this last for as long as I could First kiss and the first time that I felt connected to anything The weight of water, the way you told me to look past everything I had ever learned The final word in the final sentence you ever uttered to me was love We have got through so much worse than this before What's so different this time that you can't ignore You say it is much more than just my last mistake And we should spend some time apart for both our sakes The last girl and the last reason to make this last for as long as I could First kiss and the first time that I felt connected to anything The weight of water, the way you told me to look past everything I had ever learned The final word in the final sentence you ever uttered to me was love The last girl and the last reason to make this last for as long as I could First kiss and the first time that I felt connected to anything The weight of water, the way you told me to look past everything I had ever learned The final word in the final sentence you ever uttered to me was love And I don't know where to look My words just break and melt Please just save me from this darkness Please just save me from this darkness And I don't know where to look My words just break and melt Please just save me from this darkness Please just save me from this darkness |
"Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk" by Rufus Wainwright Cigarettes and chocolate milk These are just a couple of my cravings Everything it seems I likes a little bit stronger A little bit thicker, a little bit harmful for me If I should buy jellybeans Have to eat them all in just one sitting Everything it seems I likes a little bit sweeter A little bit fatter, a little bit harmful for me And then theres those other things Which for several reasons we wont mention Everything about em is a little bit stranger, a little bit harder A little bit deadly Its not very smart Tends to make one part So brokenhearted Sitting here remembering me Always been a shoe made for the city Go ahead accuse me of just singing about places With scrappy boys faces have general run of the town Playing with prodigal sons Take a lot of sentimental valiums Cant expect the world to be your raggedy andy While running on empty you little old doll with a frown You got to keep in the game Retaining mystique while facing forward I suggest a reading of lesson in tightropes Or surfing your high hopes or adios kansas Its not very smart Tends to make one part So brokenhearted Still theres not a show on my back Holes or a friendly intervention Im just a little bit heiress, a little bit irish A little bit tower of pisa Whenever I see ya So please be kind if Im a mess Cigarettes and chocolate milk Cigarettes and chocolate milk |
You'll Think of Me Keith Urban Woke up early this morning around 4am With the moon shining bright as headlights on the interstate I pulled the covers over my head and tried to catch some sleep But thoughts of us kept keeping me awake Ever since you found yourself in someone else's arms I've been tryin' my best to get along But that's OK There's nothing left to say, but Take your records, take your freedom Take your memories I don't need'em Take your space and all your reasons But you'll think of me And take your cat and leave my sweater 'Cause we got nothin' left to wheather In fact I'll feel a whole lot better But you'll think of me, you'll think of me I went out driving trying to clear my head I tried to sweep out all the ruins that my emotions left I guess I'm feeling just a little tired of this And all the baggage it seems to still exist It seems thee only blessing I have left to my name Is not knowing what we could have been What we should have been So Take your records, take your freedom Take your memories I don't need'em Take your space and all your reasons But you'll think of me And take your cat and leave my sweater 'Cause we got nothing left to weather In fact I'll feel a whole lot better But you'll think of me Someday, I'm gonna run across your mind But don't worry, I'll be fine I'm gonna be alright While you're sleeping with your pride Wishing I could hold you tight I'll be over you And on with my life So take your records, take your freedom baby Take your memories I don't need'em anymore And take your cat but leave my sweater 'Cause we got nothing left to weather In fact I'll feel a hell of a lot better But you'll think of me So take your records, take your freedom Take your memories I don't need'em Take your space and your stupid reasons But you'll think of me And take your cat and leave my sweater 'Cause we got nothing left to weather In fact I'll feel a whole lot better But you'll think of me, you'll think of me, yeah And you're gonna think of me ummm yeah, whoaa yeah Oh someday baby, someday hey when your layin' alonein the middle of the night wishin' i was there to hold you tight that's when your gonna think about me baby yeah in the middle of the night when your layin' alone baby you wish i was commin home but i ain't eva commin' home you shouldn't have treated me this way yeah, yeah, ummm yeah, yeah why did you go and break my heart baby didn't you know how much i loved you whoaaaa whooooooooooo someday baby |

Double-posting, 'cause I'm a badass like that. "If It Kills Me," by Jason Mraz Hello, tell me you know, you've figured me out, something gave it away And it would be such a beautiful moment to see the look on your face To know that I know that you know now And baby that's a case of my wishful thinking, you know nothing 'Cause you and I, why we go carrying on for hours on end We get along much better than you and your boyfriend Well, all I really want to do is to love you A kind much closer than friends use But I still can't say it after all that we've been through And all I really want from you is to feel me As the feeling inside keeps building And I will find a way to you if it kills me If it kills me How long can I go on like this, wishing to kiss you before I rightly explode? And this double life I lead isn't healthy for me, in fact it makes me nervous If I get caught, I could be risking it all, baby there's a lot I miss in case I'm wrong All I really want to do is to love you A kind much closer than friends use But I still can't say it after all that we've been through And all I really want from you is to feel me As the feeling inside keeps building And I will find a way to you if it kills me If it kills me If I should be so bold, I'd ask you to hold my heart in your hand Tell you from the start how I've longed to be your man But I never said a word, I guess I'm gonna miss my chance again And all I really want to do is to love you A kind much closer than friends use But I still can't say it after all that we've been through And all I really want from you is to feel me As the feeling inside keeps building And I will find a way to if it kills me If it kills me, if it kills me I think it might kill me And all I really want from you is to feel me It's a feeling inside that keeps building And I will find a way to you if it kills me, if it kills me It might kill me |
Vanilla Twilight - Owl City The stars lean down to kiss you, And I lie awake I miss you, Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere. Cause I'll doze off safe and soundly, But I'll miss your arms around me I'll send a postcard to you dear, Cause I wish you were here. I watch the night turn light blue, But it's not the same without you, Because it takes two to whisper quietly, The silence isn't so bad, Till I look at my hands and feel sad, Cause the spaces between my fingers Are right where yours fit perfectly. I'll find repose in new ways, Though I haven't slept in two days, Cause cold nostalgia chills me to the bone. But drenched in Vanilla twilight, I'll sit on the front porch all night, Waist deep in thought because when I think of you. I don't feel so alone. I don't feel so alone. I don't feel so alone. As many times as I blink I'll think of you... tonight. I'll think of you tonight. When violet eyes get brighter, And heavy wings grow lighter, I'll taste the sky and feel alive again. And I'll forget the world that I knew, But I swear I won't forget you, Oh if my voice could reach back through the past, I'd whisper in your ear, Oh darling I wish you were here. |
"Tears in Heaven," by Eric Clapton Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven? Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven? I must be strong and carry on 'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven Would you hold my hand if I saw you in heaven? Would you help me stand if I saw you in heaven? I'll find my way through night and day 'Cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees Time can break your heart, have you begging please Begging please Beyond the door, there's peace, I'm sure And I know there'll be no more tears in heaven Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven? Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven? I must be strong and carry on 'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven 'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven |
I have no idea if this has been posted before. But oh well.
I Miss You - Blink 182 Hello there, the angel from my nightmare The shadow in the background of the morgue The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley We can live like Jack and Sally if we want Where you can always find me We'll have Halloween on Christmas And in the night we'll wish this never ends We'll wish this never ends (I miss you, I miss you) (I miss you, I miss you) Where are you and I'm so sorry I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight I need somebody and always This sick strange darkness Comes creeping on so haunting every time And as I stared I counted Webs from all the spiders Catching things and eating their insides Like indecision to call you and hear your voice of treason Will you come home and stop this pain tonight Stop this pain tonight Don't waste your time on me you're already The voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) Don't waste your time on me you're already The voice inside my head (I miss you, I miss you) [x3] (I miss you, I miss you) [x4] |
This is an amazing song...
Placebo, A Song to say Goodbye. You are one of God's mistakes, You crying, tragic waste of skin, I'm well aware of how it aches , And you still won't let me in. Now I'm breaking down your door, To try and save your swollen face , Though I don't like you anymore, You lying, trying waste of space.. Before our innocence was lost, You were always one of those , Blessed with lucky sevens , And the voice that made me cry . My Oh My. You were mother nature's son , Someone to whom I could relate , Your needle and your damage done, Remains a sordid twist of fate. Now I'm trying to wake you up , To pull you from the liquid sky , Coz if I don't we'll both end up , With just your song to say goodbye. My Oh My. A song to say goodbye, A song to say goodbye , A song to say... Before our innocence was lost, You were always one of those, Blessed with lucky sevens, And the voice that made me cry. It's a song to say goodbye(x8) |
Everlong - The Foo Fighters Hello, I've waited here for you, Everlong Tonight, I've thrown myself into and out of the red, Out of her head she sang Come down and waste away with me, Down with me Slow, how you wanted it to be, I'm over my head, out of her head she's singing And I wonder, When I sing along with you, If everything could ever feel this real forever If anything could ever be this good again The only thing I'll ever ask of you You've got to promise not to stop when I say when She sang Breathe out, so I can breathe you in, Hold you in And now, I know you've always been out of your head, Out of my head I sang And I wonder, When I sing along with you, If everything could ever feel this real forever If anything could ever be this good again The only thing I'll ever ask of you You've got to promise not to stop when I say when She sang And I wonder, If everything could ever feel this real forever If anything could ever be this good again The only thing I'll ever ask of you You've got to promise not to stop when I say when |
By The Grace of God - The Hellacopters Hey girl, you'll land it. You've got supplies if they demand it. You've got the looks, and the glamour, Cut by the chisel and beat by the hammer. They're naive so they'll believe it, and they will act like dogs when they recieve it. Through the darkness, and the haze, a straight and narrow fall from grace. They need, they yearn, they lust with cheeks unturned. Hands shake and heads will nod, they get by by the grace of God. Hey boy, you understand say your prayers or you'll be damned. He's a watcher, and a voyeur, a bystander and destroyer. They need, they yearn, they lust with cheeks unturned. Hands shake and heads will nod, they get by by the grace of God. Yeah they get by... They need, they yearn, they lust with cheeks unturned. Hands shake and heads will nod, they get by by the grace of God. Yeah they get by, by the grace of God. We get by, we get by, by the grace of God... |
"More Than Words," by Extreme Saying "I love you" is not the words I want to hear from you It's not that I want you not to say, but if you only knew How easy it would be to show me how you feel More than words is all you have to do to make it real Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me 'Cause I'd already know What would you do if my heart was torn in two? More than words to show you feel that your love for me is real What would you say if I took those words away? Then you couldn't make things new Just by saying I love you, more than words Now that I've tried to talk to you and make you understand All you have to do is close your eyes and just reach out your hand And touch me, hold me close, don't ever let me go More than words is all I ever needed you to show Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me 'Cause I'd already know What would you do if my heart was torn in two? More than words to show you feel that your love for me is real What would you say if I took those words away? Then you couldn't make things new Just by saying I love you -- I sing this in the car all the time . |

Human - The Killers I did my best to notice When the call came down the line Up to the platform of surrender I was brought but I was kind And sometimes I get nervous When I see an open door Close your eyes Clear your heart... Cut the cord Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer Are we human? Or are we dancer? Pay my respects to grace and virtue Send my condolences to good Give my regards to soul and romance, They always did the best they could And so long to devotion You taught me everything I know Wave goodbye Wish me well.. You've gotta let me go Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer Are we human? Or are we dancer? Will your system be alright When you dream of home tonight? There is no message we're receiving Let me know is your heart still beating Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer You've gotta let me know Are we human? Or are we dancer? My sign is vital My hands are cold And I'm on my knees Looking for the answer Are we human Or are we dancer? Are we human? Or are we dancer? Are we human Or are we dancer? |
Twenty years, Placebo.
There are twenty years to go, And twenty ways to know, Who will wear, Who will wear the hat. There are twenty years to go, The best of all I hope, Enjoy the ride, The medicine show. And them's the breaks, For we designer fakes, We need to concentrate, On more than meets the eye. There are twenty years ago The faithful and the low, The best of starts, The broken heart, the stone. There are twenty years to go, The punchdrunk and the blow, The worst of starts, The mercy part, the phone. And them's the breaks, For we designer fakes, We need to concentrate, On more than meets the eye. And them's the breaks, For we designer fakes, But it's you I take, Because you're the truth not I. There are twenty years to go, A golden age I know, But all will pass, And end too fast you know. There are twenty years to go, And many friends I hope, Though some may hold the rose, Some hold the rope. That's the end, And that's the start of it. That's the whole, And that's the part of it. That's the high, And that's the heart of it. That's the long, And that's the short of it. That's the best, And that's the test in it. That's the doubt, The doubt, the trust in it. That's the sight, And that's the sound of it. That's the gift, And that's the trick in it. You're the truth Not I. You're the truth not I. You're the truth not I. You're the truth not I. You're the truth not I. You're the truth not I. You're the truth not I. You're the truth not I. |
"There Is No Good Way to Say I'm Leaving You," by Slow Club On a glass bottomed boat, you escaped to ballot your vote On a piece of homemade paper you wrote yes and you were a no In wet cement, you drew a line Dancing across the coals, you asked me to pick a side I've gotta ruin tonight 'cause... There's no good way to say I'm leaving you There is no good way to say I'm leaving you You used to write, you used to paint You don't say why you stopped or if you'll start again Your evenings lacking, they're not beautiful anymore It's not hard to think of questions when answers are all that you are I've gotta ruin tonight 'cause... There's no good way to say I'm leaving you There is no good way to say I'm leaving you |
"Horses", by Dala I am the boy who won't let go. I live in my head, and I don't look like my photos And I hate the sound of the world outside, 'Cause ev'rybody coming here can't wait to say goodbye. And I followed your car to my childhood home And I looked for the key hidden under the stone. And I still hear the sound in my father's voice When he lifts me up like I'm a little boy But I saw horses from my window They were watching all the cars go And they don't care that I am broken, Close my eyes and run beside them. And I'm already free. And I'm already free. So don't look for me here, 'Cause I run In my dreams. I am the girl who won't let go I live in my house, and I don't like my photos And I hate the sound of the world outside And I still haven't found my place to hide. But I saw horses from my window They were watching all the cars go And they don't care that I am broken, Close my eyes and run beside them. I saw horses from my window They were watching all the cars go And they don't care that I am broken, Close my eyes and run beside them. And I'm already free. And I'm already free. So don't look for me here, Don't look for me here. 'Cause I run In my dreams. In my dreams. |
"Glass," by Gavin Degraw
Fool, you make the girl fall in love, you said those beautiful things She thought you spoke things you mean, caress her skin like it's glass She hears your voice making plans and sees your face in her hands You don't want to see somebody beg as you feel their heart surrender You begin to fall, how do you say that something's through When it never even started, at least not for you? You breathe her air and you leave, you keep your mind on yourself And lie the glass on the shelf, after the heavenly speech Your body throws holy heat, the angels sing when our eyes meet It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't true, I just wanted to make you feel good Just wanted you near, I wasn't prepared, I wasn't thinking of you That you're glass, you really loved me It never should have started She's dreaming back on the past, every opinion agreed Doesn't know what to believe, it must have been for a cause Our lives have so many doors, don't think about him anymore But it was the kiss, it took me away, it's like he knew that I am fragile He handled me like glass, and it hurts, but it's what I deserve Because I should have been more careful with the others that I handled I should have been more, but knowing this, I know that he'll get his But I don't want the man to suffer, it's not the way I am 'Cause deep down, I know that he's glass too But it really doesn't matter 'til it's happening to you Everybody breaks sometime "This Woman's Work," altered by Maxwell (original by Kate Bush) Pray God, you can cope I stand outside This woman's work, this woman's worth Ooh, it's a hard on a man Now his part is over Now starts the craft of the father I know you've got a little life in you yet And I know you've got a lot of strength left I know you've got a little life in you yet And I know you've got a lot of strength left I should be crying but I just can't let it show I should be hoping but I can't stop thinking Of all the things we should have said that we never said And all the things we should have done that we never did All the things we should have given but I didn't Oh, darling, make it go, make it go away Give me these moments, give them back to me Give me a little kiss, give me your... I know you've got a little life in you yet, give me your hand I know you have a lot of strength left, give me that pretty hand I know you've got a little life in you yet, show me you understand I know you have a lot of strength left, my love child I know you've got a little life in you yet, whatever you need I know you have a lot of strength left, give me your hand I know you've got a little life in you yet, give me your hand I should be crying but I just can't let it go I should be hoping but I can't stop thinking, thinking, thinking Of all the things we should have said that we never said And all the things we should have done that we never did All the things that you wanted from me All the things that you needed from me All the things I should have given but I didn't Oh, darling, make it go away now, just make it go away |
Still Alive, by GLaDOS This was a triumph, I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. Aperture Science We do what we must because we can. For the good of all of us Except the ones who are dead. But there's no sense crying over every mistake You just keep on trying 'til you run out of cake, And the science gets done, and you make a neat gun For the people who are still alive. I'm not even angry I'm being so sincere right now, Even though you broke my heart and killed me. And tore me to pieces And threw every piece into a fire. As they burned it hurt because I was so happy for you. Now these points of data make a beautiful line And we're out of beta, we're releasing on time. So I'm glad I got burned, think of all the things we learned For the people who are still alive. Go ahead an leave me, I think I prefer to stay inside. Maybe you'll find someone else to help you. Maybe Black Mesa. That was a joke. Ha-ha! Fat chance! Anyway, this cake is great, it's so delicious and moist. Look at me still talking when there's science to do, When I look up there it makes me glad I'm not you. I've experiments to run, there is research to be done On the people who are still alive. And believe me I am still alive I'm doing science and I'm still alive I feel fantastic and I'm still alive While you're dying I'll be still alive And when you're dead I'll be still alive Still alive Still alive. |
"Book of Love," by Peter Gabriel
The book of love is long and boring And no one can lift the damned thing It's full of charts and facts and figures And instructions for dancing But I love it when you read to me And you can read me anything The book of love has music in it It's like that's where music comes from Some of it's just transcendental Some of it's just really dumb But I love it when you sing to me And you can sing me anything The book of love is long and boring And written very long ago It's full of flowers and heart-shaped boxes And things we're all too young to know But I love it when you give me things And you are to give me wedding rings And I love it when you give me things And you are to give me wedding rings "Vienna," by Billy Joel Slow down, you crazy child, you're so ambitious for a juvenile But if you're so smart, tell me, why are you still so afraid? Where's the fire, what's the hurry about? You'd better cool it off before you burn it out You've got so much to do and only so many hours in a day But you know that when the truth is told That you can get what you want or you can just get old You're gonna kick off before you even get halfway through When will you realize? Vienna waits for you Slow down, you're doing fine, you can't be everything you wanna be Before your time, although it's so romantic on the borderline tonight Too bad, but it's the life you lead, you're so ahead of yourself That you forgot what you need, though you can see when you're wrong You know you can't always see when you're right You've got your passion, you've got your pride But don't you know that only fools are satisfied? Dream on, but don't imagine they'll all come true When will you realize? Vienna waits for you Slow down, you crazy child, and take the phone off the hook And disappear for awhile, it's alright, you can afford to lose a day or two When will you realize? Vienna waits for you And you know that when the truth is told That you can get what you want or you can just get old You're gonna kick off before you even get halfway through Why don't you realize? Vienna waits for you When will you realize? Vienna waits for you |

Fuck It I Love You - Malcolm Middleton There's a boxfull of showergels I've left around the world In the toilets and bathrooms I've been Chips of my youth fallen off along the way I've been a long time falling down. Fuck it I love you, there you go Three little words on a mobile phone When are you coming home? When are you coming home? Don't want to be alone Been careless with my friends Even harder on myself There's A few stars in the sky I've killed Pieces of my heart broken off along the way I've been a long way falling down. Pretending I'm pretending that everything's ok So many masks I'm wearing my own face I can feel my toes burning from my deeds along the way Before you get up you've got to go down. Getting trounced being beaten at every turn I record my mistakes but I never learn Are you coming home? When are you coming home? Don't want to be alone |
"A Few Drinks to Fall in Love," by Gavin Degraw You don't understand my jokes You're burning my eyes with your smoke If I wasn't alone, I'd ask you to move the hell away So I order up another round, sipping my last one down You're the best deal in town and I've only got dreams to dream of Sometimes, you need a few drinks to fall in love If this year burned a hole in my hope I've got debts that could choke out a rope And it's not my approach, it's the way I go so many things up And there's really nothing great about this bar So here I am, right where you are We're both shooting way under par But soon we'll forget what that was Sometimes, you need a few drinks to fall in love |

Where Soul Meets Body - Death Cab for Cutie
I want to live where soul meets body And let the sun wrap its arms around me And bathe my skin in water cool and cleansing And feel, feel what its like to be new Cause in my head there’s a greyhound station Where I send my thoughts to far off destinations So they may have a chance of finding a place where they’re far more suited than here I cannot guess what we'll discover We turn the dirt with our palms cupped like shovels But I know our filthy hands can wash one another’s And not one speck will remain I do believe it’s true That there are roads left in both of our shoes But if the silence takes you Then I hope it takes me too So brown eyes I hold you near Cause you’re the only song I want to hear A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere Where soul meets body Where soul meets body Where soul meets body I do believe it’s true That there are roads left in both of our shoes But if the silence takes you Then I hope it takes me too So brown eyes I hold you near Cause you’re the only song I want to hear A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere A melody softly soaring through my atmosphere It's such a sweet song. |
Now I will tell you what I've done for you -
50 thousand tears I've cried. Screaming, deceiving and bleeding for you - And you still won't hear me. (going under) Don't want your hand this time - I'll save myself. Maybe I'll wake up for once (wake up for once) Not tormented daily defeated by you Just when I thought I'd reached the bottom I'm dying again I'm going under (going under) Drowning in you (drowning in you) I'm falling forever (falling forever) I've got to break through I'm going under Blurring and stirring - the truth and the lies. (So I don't know what's real) So I don't know what's real and what's not (and what's not) Always confusing the thoughts in my head So I can't trust myself anymore I'm dying again I'm going under (going under) Drowning in you (drowning in you) I'm falling forever (falling forever) I've got to break through I'm... So go on and scream Scream at me I'm so far away (so far away) I won't be broken again (again) I've got to breathe - I can't keep going under I'm dying again I'm going under (going under) Drowning in you (drowning in you) I'm falling forever (falling forever) I've got to break through I'm going under (going under) I'm going under (drowning in you) I'm going under - Going Under -Evanescence -A.K.A teh best band ever. |
Kind of sad, but fits how I feel right now.
"City by the Sea" by Terminal i'm a thousand miles from home, sleeping in my clothes living like i never have before when the city falls into the sea, i try and make myself believe that i matter here but i'm only losing sleep if only i could feel less indifferent then maybe i could be more existent i'm dreaming hopelessly in a city by the sea it's taken me so long to sing a simple song: i don't belong on the rooftop late at night, writing songs about my life praying day will break before i close my eyes i wish i had a little more to miss than friends that don't exist and the town that felt like scars across my wrist if only i could feel less indifferent then maybe i could be more existent i'm dreaming hopelessly in a city by the sea it's taken me so long to sing a simple song: i don't belong if only i could feel (less indifferent) if only i could feel (less indifferent) i'm dreaming hopelessly in a city by the sea it's taken me so long to sing a simple song i don't belong i don't belong i don't belong |
"Pollen and Salt," by Daphne Loves Derby You've left me with such a silent world The evenings are calm but I'm restless And my breath has become as thin as the wind Not even the mighty sky could fill the space you've left behind Not even when it rains, no, nothing takes your place An emptiness too great to fill I have been holding my breath for too many nights in a row And somewhere on coastlines unknown to me You paint your dreams in reds and blues and greens You're painting daffodils by the sea without me Today in a breeze I sensed your perfume But you were nowhere near And in reverie, I felt you holding me Even in my dreams, I shake from the fear That you've been swept away by the rhythm of the waves And their whisper in your ears I have been holding my breath for too many nights in a row And somewhere on coastlines unknown to me You paint your dreams in reds and blues and greens You're painting daffodils by the sea without me I would give away my sweetest memories If I could just be with you again, be with you again I have been holding my breath for too many nights in a row And somewhere on coastlines unknown to me You paint your dreams in reds and blues and greens You're painting daffodils growing by the sea without me Last night, I dreamed you were with me And finally, I could breathe |
"Incomplete Lullaby," by Lisa Mitchell Like a turning head Like a second look Like a burning leaf of an open book Like a pounding sea Like a messy crime When your eyes first met with mine Like a broken word Like a tragic smile Like a thousand steps or a single mile Like a lonely chance Like a savage glow When you turned and said hello I was just about to call There were flowers on the ceiling You left me feeling Like a fading voice Like a closing door Like a dozen lies and a dozen more Like a twisted tongue Like distant bike When we broke out in the dark The stars looked like burning sparks The lights were warm but chilling You left me feeling Tired Could not close my eyes On fire But frozen inside To run or to hide Speechless my words could not melt Whisper I wanted to shout With out you I felt Like a fleeting thought Like a double eight Like a gentle fear of a warming taste Like a placid breath Like a cooling blow When you stopped and held me close Inside I nearly froze Your touch is almost healing You left me feeling Tired Could not close my eyes On fire But frozen inside To run or to hide Speechless my words could not melt Whisper I wanted to shout With out you I felt Like a setting sun Like a last goodbye Like an incomplete lullaby "Neopolitan Dreams," by Lisa Mitchell You'll go and I’ll be okay, I can dream the rest away. Its just a little touch of fate, it will be okay. It sure takes its precious time, but it’s got rights and so have I. I turn my head up to the sky I focus one thought at a time I do not let the little thieves under my tightly buttoned sleeve It couldn’t be a longer time, I feel like I am walking blind I have no idle time There are no legible signs I like the way that you talk I like the way that you walk It’s hard to recreate, such an individual gait You wait your turn in the queue You say your sorries and thankyous I don’t think you’re ever A hundred percent in the room You’re not in the room Deepest, of the dark nights here lies, the highest of highs Neopolitan Dreams, stretching out to the sea You wait your turn in the queue, You say your sorries and thankyous I don’t think you’re ever A hundred percent in the room You’re not in the room |

"Winter Song," by Ingrid Michaelson and Sara Bareilles This is my winter song to you The storm is coming soon It rolls in from the sea My voice a beacon in the night My words will be your light To carry you to me Is love alive? Is love alive? Is love... They say that things just cannot grow Beneath the winter snow Or so I have been told They say we'll bury fall Just like a distant stall I simply cannot hold Is love alive? Is love alive? Is love alive? This is my winter song December never felt so wrong 'Cause you're not where you belong Inside my arms I still believe in summer days The seasons always change And life will find a way I'll be your harvester of light And send it out tonight So we can start again Is love alive? Is love alive? Is love alive? This is my winter song December never felt so wrong 'Cause you're not where you belong Inside my heart This is my winter song to you The storm is coming soon It rolls in from the sea My love a beacon in the night My words will be your light To carry you to me Is love alive? "Skinny Love," by Bon Iver Come on skinny love just last the year Pour a little salt we were never here My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer I tell my love to wreck it all Cut out all the ropes and let me fall My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my Right in the moment this order's tall I told you to be patient I told you to be fine I told you to be balanced I told you to be kind In the morning I'll be with you But it will be a different "kind" I'll be holding all the tickets And you'll be owning all the fines Come on skinny love what happened here Suckle on the hope in lite brassiere My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my Sullen load is full; so slow on the split I told you to be patient I told you to be fine I told you to be balanced I told you to be kind Now all your love is wasted? Then who the hell was I? Now I'm breaking at the britches And at the end of all your lines Who will love you? Who will fight? Who will fall far behind? |
"Someone Else's Life," by Joshua Radin Somehow, I'm leading someone else's life Cut a star down with my knife And right now, I still see the way the moon Plays this tune, though our lights died My hands shake, my knees quake It's every day, the same way But then came you, then there's you I keep your picture in my worn-through shoes Then there's you, then came you When I'm lost, I look at my picture of you And somehow, I'll make tonight our own I'll show you every way I've grown since I met you And right now, I'll be the boy in your next song I'll learn the parts and play along, if you let me My hands shake, my knees quake It's every day, the same way But then came you, then there's you I keep your picture in my worn-through shoes Then there's you, then came you When I'm lost, I look at my picture of you If you let me, I'll show the world to you Yes if you let me, I'll know just what to do 'Cause then came you, then there's you I keep your picture in my worn-through shoes When I'm lost, in your eyes, I see a way for me "I'd Rather be With You," by Joshua Radin Sitting here on this lonely dock Watch the rain play on the ocean top All the things I feel I need to say I can't explain in any other way I need to be bold, need to jump in the cold water Need to grow older with a girl like you Finally see you were naturally the one to make it so easy When you showed me the truth, yeah, I'd rather be with you Say you want the same thing, too Now here's the sun, come to dry the rain Warm my shoulders and relieve my pain You're the one thing that I'm missing here With you beside me, I no longer fear I need to be bold, need to jump in the cold water Need to grow older with a girl like you Finally see you were naturally the one to make it so easy When you showed me the truth, yeah, I'd rather be with you Say you want the same thing, too I could have saved so much time for us Had I seen the way to get to where I am today You waited on me for so long, so now, listen to me say I need to be bold, need to jump in the cold water Need to grow older with a girl like you Finally see you were naturally the one to make it so easy When you showed me the truth, yeah, I'd rather be with you Say you want the same thing, too Say you feel the way I do |
Double-posting because I haven't listened to this song in so long that I'll forget about it if I don't do it now. Sue me :P. "Wonderwall," by Oasis Today is gonna be the day that they never throw it back to you By now, you should have somehow realized what you're not to do I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now Back beat, the word is on the street that the fire in your heart is out I'm sure you've heard it all before but you never really had a doubt I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now And all the roads we have to walk are winding And all the lights that lead us there are blinding There are many things that I would like to say to you But I don't know how So I said maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me After all, you're my wonderwall Today was gonna be the day but they'll never throw it back to you By now, you should have somehow realized what you're not to do And I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now And all the roads we have to walk are winding And all the lights that lead us there are blinding There are many things that I would like to say to you But I don't know how So I said maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me After all, you're my wonderwall, so I said maybe You're gonna be the one that saves me You're gonna be the one that saves me I want you to save me |
"Into My Arms," by Nick Cave I don't believe in an interventionist God But I know, darling, that you do But if I did I would kneel down and ask Him Not to intervene when it came to you Not to touch a hair on your head To leave you as you are And if He felt He had to direct you Then direct you into my arms Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms And I don't believe in the existence of angels But looking at you I wonder if that's true But if I did I would summon them together And ask them to watch over you To each burn a candle for you To make bright and clear your path And to walk, like Christ, in grace and love And guide you into my arms Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms And I believe in Love And I know that you do too And I believe in some kind of path That we can walk down, me and you So keep your candlew burning And make her journey bright and pure That she will keep returning Always and evermore Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms, O Lord Into my arms |
"Where I Stood," by Missy Higgins I don't know what I've done or if I like what I've become Something told me to run and honey, you know me, it's all or none There were sounds in my head, a little voice was whispering That I should go and this should end, oh and I found myself listening I don't know who I am, who I am without you All I know is that I should And I don't know if I could stand another hand upon you All I know is that I should She will love you more than I could She who dares to stand where I stood I thought love was black and white That it was wrong or it was right But you ain't leaving without a fight And I think I am just as torn inside I don't know who I am, who I am without you All I know is that I should And I don't know if I could stand another hand upon you All I know is that I should She will love you more than I could She who dares to stand where I stood And I won't be far from where you are if ever you should call You meant more to me than anything I ever loved at all But you taught me how to trust myself and so I say to you This is what I have to do 'Cause I don't know who I am, who I am without you All I know is that I should And I don't know if I could stand another hand upon you All I know is that I should 'Cause she will love you more than I could She who dares to stand where I stood She who dares to stand where I stood |

"Jenny Don't Be Hasty," by Paolo Nutini You said you'd marry me if I was twenty-three But I'm one knight you can't see if I'm only eighteen Tell me, who makes these rules? Obviously not you Who are you answering to? Oh, Jenny, don't be hasty No, don't treat me like a baby Let me take you where you'll let me Because leaving just upsets me I'll be around again to see these other men That are more adequate in the age department And I did not think you cared, there'd be no problems here But now you're looking at me like you're disgusted Then I'm definitely waiting for you to smile and change your mind Then I'll say I'm sorry and I'll wrap my arms round your body I really hope that you forgive in a hurry and don't just ask me to leave Oh, Jenny, don't be hasty No, don't treat me like a baby Let me take you where you'll let me Because leaving just upsets me Oh, Jenny, you are crazy First I'm perfect, then I'm lazy And I was calling you my baby Now it sounds like you just left me And it kills me Oh, Jenny, don't be hasty No, don't treat me like a baby Let me take you where you'll let me Because leaving just upsets me Oh, Jenny, you are crazy First I'm perfect, then I'm lazy And I was calling you my baby Now it sounds like you just left me And it kills me |
The River - Bruce Springsteen I come from down in the valley where mister when you're young They bring you up to do like your daddy done Me and Mary we met in high school when she was just seventeen We'd ride out of that valley down to where the fields were green We'd go down to the river And into the river we'd dive Oh down to the river we'd ride Then I got Mary pregnant and man that was all she wrote And for my nineteenth birthday I got a union card and a wedding coat We went down to the courthouse and the judge put it all to rest No wedding day smiles no walk down the aisle No flowers no wedding dress That night we went down to the river And into the river we'd dive Oh down to the river we did ride I got a job working construction for the Johnstown Company But lately there ain't been much work on account of the economy Now all them things that seemed so important Well mister they vanished right into the air Now I just act like I don't remember Mary acts like she don't care But I remember us riding in my brother's car Her body tan and wet down at the reservoir At night on them banks I'd lie awake And pull her close just to feel each breath she'd take Now those memories come back to haunt me they haunt me like a curse Is a dream a lie if it don't come true Or is it something worse that sends me down to the river though I know the river is dry That sends me down to the river tonight Down to the river my baby and I Oh down to the river we ride |

Remember - Disturbed :
Sensation washes over me I can't describe it Pain I felt so long ago I don't remember Tear a hole so I can see My devastation Feelings from so long ago I don't remember Holding on, to let them know What's given to me, given to me To hide behind The mask this time And try to believe Blind your eyes to what you see You can't embrace it Leave it well enough alone And don't remember Cut your pride and watch it bleed You can't deny it Pain you know you can't ignore I don't remember Holding on, to let them know What's given to me, given to me To hide behind The mask this time And try to believe If I can Remember To know this will Conquer me If I can Just walk alone And try to escape Into me I'm just holding on, to let them know What's given to me, given to me To hide behind The mask this time And try to believe If I can Remember To know this will Conquer me If I can Just walk alone And try to escape Into me.. Into me.. |
"Laughing With," by Regina Spektor No one laughs at God in a hospital No one laughs at God in a war No one’s laughing at God When they’re starving or freezing or so very poor No one laughs at God When the doctor calls after some routine tests No one’s laughing at God When it’s gotten real late And their kid’s not back from the party yet No one laughs at God When their airplane start to uncontrollably shake No one’s laughing at God When they see the one they love, hand in hand with someone else And they hope that they’re mistaken No one laughs at God When the cops knock on their door And they say we got some bad news, sir No one’s laughing at God When there’s a famine or fire or flood But God can be funny At a cocktail party when listening to a good God-themed joke, or Or when the crazies say He hates us And they get so red in the head you think they’re ‘bout to choke God can be funny, When told he’ll give you money if you just pray the right way And when presented like a genie who does magic like Houdini Or grants wishes like Jiminy Cricket and Santa Claus God can be so hilarious Ha ha Ha ha No one laughs at God in a hospital No one laughs at God in a war No one’s laughing at God When they’ve lost all they’ve got And they don’t know what for No one laughs at God on the day they realize That the last sight they’ll ever see is a pair of hateful eyes No one’s laughing at God when they’re saying their goodbyes But God can be funny At a cocktail party when listening to a good God-themed joke, or Or when the crazies say He hates us And they get so red in the head you think they’re ‘bout to choke God can be funny, When told he’ll give you money if you just pray the right way And when presented like a genie who does magic like Houdini Or grants wishes like Jiminy Cricket and Santa Claus God can be so hilarious No one laughs at God in a hospital No one laughs at God in a war No one laughs at God in a hospital No one laughs at God in a war No one laughing at God in hospital No one’s laughing at God in a war No one’s laughing at God when they’re starving or freezing or so very poor No one’s laughing at God No one’s laughing at God No one’s laughing at God We’re all laughing with God |

"Eet," by Regina Spektor It’s like forgetting the words to your favorite song You can’t believe it You were always singing along It was so easy and the words so sweet You can’t remember You try to feel the beat Eet, eet, eet, eet Eet, eet, eet, eet You spent half of your life trying to fall behind You’re using your headphones to drown out your mind It was so easy, and the words so sweet You can’t remember You try to move your feet Eet, eet, eet, eet Eet, eet, eet, eet Someone’s deciding whether or not to steal He opens the window just to feel the chill He hears that outside a small boy just starting to cry ‘Cause it’s his turn but his brother won’t let him try It’s like forgetting the words to your favorite song You can’t believe it You were always singing along It was so easy and the words so sweet You can’t remember You try to move your feet It was so easy and the words so sweet You can’t remember, you try to feel the beat |
"Wild Horses," by The Rolling Stones Childhood living is easy to do The things that you wanted, I bought them for you Graceless lady, you know who I am You know I can't let you slide through my hands Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses couldn't drag me away I watched you suffer a dull, aching pain Now you decided to show me the same No sweeping exits or offstage lines Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses couldn't drag me away I know you dreamed a sin and a lie I have my freedom but I don't have much time Faith has been broken, tears must be cried Let's do some living after we die Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them someday |
If There's A Rocket Tie Me To It - Snow Patrol Two weeks later like a surplus reprieve I found a hair the length of yours on my sleeve I wound it round and round my finger so tight It turned purple and a pulse formed inside And I knew the beat 'cause it matched your own beat I still remember it from our chest to chest and feet to feet The easy silence then was a sweet relief to this hush Of ovens, aeroplanes and of distant car horns A fire a fire, you can only take what you can carry A pulse your pulse, it's the only thing I can remember I break you don't, I was always set to self-destruct though The fire the fire, it cracks and barks like primal music I said I knew the beat 'cause it matched your own beat It's become my engine my own source of heat The sea between us only amplifies the sound waves Every hum and echo and crash paints my cave A fire a fire, you can only take what you can carry A pulse your pulse, it's the only thing I can remember I break you don't, I was always set to self-destruct though The fire the fire, it cracks and barks like primal music A fire a fire, you can only take what you can carry A pulse your pulse, it's the only thing I can remember I break you don't, I was always set to self-destruct though The fire the fire, it cracks and barks like primal music |
"A Case of You," by Joni Mitchell Just before our love got lost, you said I am as constant as a northern star And I said, constant in the darkness Where's that? If you want me, I'll be in the bar On the back of a cartoon coaster In the blue TV screen light I drew a map of Canada And your face sketched on it twice You are in my blood like holy wine And you taste so bitter but you taste so sweet I could drink a case of you, I could drink a case of you, darling And I would still be on my feet, oh, I would still be on my feet I am a lonely painter, I live in a box of paints I'm frightened by the devil and I'm drawn to those who aren't afraid I remember that time you told me, you said that love is touching souls Surely you touched mine, 'cause part of you pours out of me In these lines, from time to time You are in my blood like holy wine And you taste so bitter but you taste so sweet I could drink a case of you, I could drink a case of you, darling And I would still be on my feet, oh, I would still be on my feet I met a woman, she had a mouth like yours, she knew your life She knew your devils and your deeds, and she said, color go to him Stay with him if you can, but be prepared to bleed But you are in my blood, you're my holy wine You taste so bitter but you taste so sweet I could drink a case of you, darling Still I'd be on my feet, I'd still be on my feet |

Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis Closed off from love, I didn't need the pain Once or twice was enough and it was all in vain Time starts to pass before you know it you're frozen But something happened for the very first time with you My heart melted to the ground, found something true And everyone's looking 'round, thinking I'm going crazy But I don't care what they say, I'm in love with you They try to pull me away but they don't know the truth My heart's crippled by the vein that I keep on closing You cut me open And I keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love You cut me open Trying hard not to hear but they talk so loud Their piercing sounds fill my ears try to fill me with doubt Yet I know that the goal is to keep me from falling But nothing's greater than the rush That comes with your embrace And in this world of loneliness I see your face Yet everyone around me thinks that I'm going crazy Maybe, maybe But I don't care what they say, I'm in love with you They try to pull me away but they don't know the truth My heart's crippled by the vein that I keep on closing You cut me open And I keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love You cut me open And it's draining all of me Oh, they find it hard to believe I'll be wearing these scars for everyone to see I don't care what they say, I'm in love with you They try to pull me away but they don't know the truth My heart's crippled by the vein that I keep on closing You cut me open And I keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love You cut me open And I keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love You cut me open And I keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love |
