How do you STAND military times?? It's confusing D: Can't you use, like, 8pm, 6pm, etc???

when writing hours, it's really not much of a difference. you can write "20.00" or "20:00" or "8 p.m.". the real issue is when saying. some people find it hard to say "20 hundred hours" instead of "8 p.m". Fortunately for me, Romanian language doesn't have this many problems. *glad to be Romanian*

20 hundred hours? in england we say 8 o clock or eg. 20:20 is twenty past eight, and 20:45 is quarter to 9 etc.
