Newspapers or Magazines?

As a student journalist, I prefer to work on a newspaper as opposed to a literary or political magazine- magazine staff members don't know the meaning of deadlines. As far as what I prefer to read, magazines. The average magazine article tends to be more well thought-out and more well-researched than the average newspaper article.
