Has anyone noticed that if you wait in the Neighborhood View and wait (and don't move the mouse) The neighborhood will move by itself?

It's a feature called Neighborhood Camera Drift. You can turn it on and off in Camera Options.


I don't think it was available on my old computer with an integrated graphics chip, so I think it's only available with high resolution graphics.

Maybe a lot of people have seen this already, but while looking for a map that would fit my "Strangeview", I found "Megahood City", which is basically a gift from heaven for my hood. I already recreated the Pleasantview section of the map, and I'm moving onto Strangetown next. I am also adding Bluewater Village because I love that hood, and some sims from the universities. I love having everything in a single map, so this is great!

And the Updated 3t2 Traits Project Mod Tracking Sheet helped me realized there were lots of new trait mods that I've missed, a lot by LilBabyDillJr and FwaySims on tumblr. FwaySims even has an updated Traits Randomizer that includes color traits and favorite music.

Oh and Sun&Moon are looking for Beta Testers.

I downloaded and am using that "Traits Randomizer" (automatic) and it has been a great addition to my game-instead of individually picking out traits, the mod does it for you and you no longer have to do the pixels one by one. I haven't seen any LTW randomized yet, but I've got a bunch of teens coming up in the next few rounds of Tinsel Town, and it'll be interesting to see how that mod works.

I feel like I'm not the only one who would appreciate these default replacements of the male maid outfit. I've seen plenty of default replacements for the female maid outfit to make it more practical for cleaning, and for equality between it and the male maid outfits, but honestly, what I personally always wanted was to keep the sexy french maid look but have it for both! For equality.

This is pretty interesting that it's empty. I think I saw discussion on the download page about adding lots in the future...would they have to be remade? Because I know for sure there are already remade Maxis lots for download (I'm on my phone but I can probably re-find that link again if anyone needed it).

I have an Uberhood that has ALL of the Maxis hoods, I believe it also has the Stories too, that I downloaded (judging from the zip date) 4yrs ago. I tried googling but haven't been able to locate it. I have it renamed as havin gotten it from Xao on Youtube. It has all the lots and sims. I can not say though how they did it or how clean it is. I've never played it. It is HUGE! Oh cool, I just noticed a user with Xao in their name in the comment section of the Megahood City page asking about having trouble placing lots, maybe it was them! They seem to be inactive, though. (also I am not personally interested because I guess I'm a bit of a...purist? lol I'd love the idea more if it was possible to make it less squished and I would want to exclude certain sections anyway; I have no experience/current interest in the Bitville section, for example).
