Only yesterday I discovered that Sims can sing rowdy songs: one of mine got drunk (mod) and started to sing with another Sim who was (presumably) sober but did not mind it at all.
I've never seen this before; I tried to trigger it once more with another Sim but I found out that I have no idea how.

It's a FT LTA benefit related to the Pleasure aspiration.

"Looks like a fixer-upper." - I used Clean Installer to install a CC-heavy lot without the CC. Missing floors and walls everywhere.

"Sir, could you wait at least a few minutes before macking on your ex-sister?"

To get around Create-a-Sim limitations, I made two teen "siblings" and then severed their family ties to make them unrelated. Soon after, I saw the "First Kiss [ACR]" come up in the queue.

If it's anything like Chris Hatch's "EPs", then it's the "sing folksong" interaction, starts being heavily autonomous after "drinking". You can trigger it manually on Chris Hatch's, so I guess you can on that one? :-)

"One of these days I'll cut down on all these bedding recolours."

(I won't.)

Edward Contrary lit himself of fire and died due to a tragic leaf-burning accident- soon after, Rick came outside, sighed, and immediately started sweeping his dad's earthly remains. (Don't worry, Edward is fine, Opal managed to successfully plead for him)

"Hmmmm, not sure you should be doing something like that with a burn victim..."
So the next rotation after the incident described above, Opal rolled a want to have another baby- I like to imagine her husband's brush with death reminded her of the fragility and value of life, I felt obliged to go through with it. Except, given how her husband had, less than a day ago, painfully burnt to death, I'm kinda struggling to see how they would safely... um, conceive... I opened up an incognito tab and tried to research this, but google doesn't seem to be giving me the results I'd want.

"OK there cool it with the demon head"-
-me trying to get a good screenshot and a Sim decides to turn their head 180 degrees

"Chester Gieke's future girlfriend? Well, depends on which way he swings...."

Blossom Moonbeam rolled turn-ons for red hair and glasses. Alas, Chester is in another dorm.

"Pescado, is that you?"

Upon seeing this article from the Beaverton (Canada's version of the Onion).

"Meh, who needs the circle for the terrain spray tool anyway?"

Every so often, it randomly disappears, until the next time I reboot the game. I mean, the tool still works. It's just the visible "circle" of where you're spraying isn't shown, so you only see it as the terrain changes.

To be honest, I can't be bothered to reboot the game, so I just spray without it when it stops working, it's actually not as necessary as it seems, and I can still spray neatly!

You have to be of a certain age / generation to get this.

To be honest, I miss the Sims 4's search function. It's one feature that's extremely useful when you're trying to find a specific item amongst many.

Bulbizarre 1st Sep 2023 7:10 AM

I miss the filtering options from the Sims 3.

"What are you stomping your feet for! Stop that and play the chess game!"

"Oops..sorry pixels, I didn't put the chess board in the right position..." (custom chess boards don't have timers)

I wonder if Maxis added the clock [i]just[i] so players can orient it.

Remember, white SQUARE always goes at bottom right from the player's perspective.

EDIT: I meant white square! Dammit.

Yeah, I will never remember that. I can't even grasp how that's supposed to work. Left and right are less intuitive than people think they are.

Probably. The clock goes between the players, not in front of either player - if you place the chess table against a wall, it is good to put the clock on the wall side.
