Visitors get in my way more than they help, so I tend to prefer no visitors.

"There is no table big enough for you guys" said when I was seeing if there was a bigger table for one of my households. They have five kids (alien twins, a single boy, and another set of twins) and so far the table works for the parents and older kids, but when all the kids hit at least child age some people are going to be left out.

"I need to change your hair so I don't confuse you with your brother/sister" in two different households when the younger sibling became a toddler they had the exact same hair style as their older sibling. I think I've forgotten how to use the batbox to avoid first born syndrome. I actually did confuse one set of brothers and canceled out the older brothers actions because I wanted the younger brother to stop what he was doing so his mom could potty train him. I used a mirror to change the older siblings hair so I stop confusing them.

"Where is your homework? Oh well, the mod will make him do it at 7" the alien twins from a different house came home from school and I lost track of one of their homework. I have a mod in that will make children/teens do their homework at 7pm, so the mod kicked in and made him do it since I couldn't find it to have him do it manually.

Did you not see the three-tile tables or will it just not fit in the space?

I saw the one with room for six chairs. It does fit in the space, but I was thinking it wasn't enough for 7 people, unless there is something else you meant that I didn't see.

Three tiles should fit 8.

I usually have a sofa or a couple of armchairs in the room too. The ones who can't get a seat at the table usually sit there to eat their food. They still join in the conversation with the others. My Sims like the company of other Sims.

i feel dumb, I forgot about the sides of the table since I usually don't put chairs there. There are a sofa and an arm chair also in the room.

"Opps, not enough plates" the mom wanted pancakes, and two of the kids were hungry. I told one of the kids to get the group serving of pancakes because I thought there would be enough for everyone. There were only two pancakes left, which the kids ate so I had to have mom make a different lunch.

"Do I need to ban walkbys? I will if you won't stop getting in my kids way" for what ever reason both in the morning when the kids were going to the school bus the walkby just had to stand by the front door blocking them from being able to get to the school bus and in the afternoon a different walkby just had to stand by the front door blocking the kids from going in side.

"Seriously? I thought Sims 2 was more stable" and "I'm not looking forward to the 50/50" said when my game crashed to desktop when a teen was trying to get a job. The 50/50 led to my clothing folder and taking out my teen girl tops led finding the default replacement t shirt somehow was crashing my game when the teen wearing it was trying to get a job.

"Putting that coffee table in front of that sofa is very nice, looks cozy... can anyone even sit on the sofa now? No. No, of course not."

"I'm glad you're permaplat so I can ignore that." Jared Spurlock had already reached his first LTW of getting to the top of the Adventurer career and is level 6 on the Architecture career to fill his second LTW. He had the want to buy a tent then woohoo in it. After he woohooed with his wife in it he got the want to have public woohoo with 3 different Sims. I'm ignoring that, and trying to fill other wants.

I've played that hood a lot. Sounds like you're nicer to him than I ever am! I usually make that a sub-hood with Strangetown, and another desert hood that has is populated with only four elders, each with 2 grandchildren.

I try to be nice to my Sims. I tend to be a want based player, except when they roll ridiculous wants. If that happens I try to fill the non-ridiculous wants.

"Well, we can try." Aaron Atkin's son Jamie rolled the want to get the scholarship that comes from being abducted by aliens.

"Hmm, this isn't going well." Nicole Atkins rolled the want to get her first kiss. I had her use the find a date crystal ball and got a tourist teen named Gordon Nott. The date wasn't going well at first, until ACR kicked in and had her get her first kiss.\

"I thought I locked her door." one of Melody Tinker's dormies went to sleep in her bed. I thought I had her lock her dorm door but I guess not.

"Don't sleep in other people's beds." I purposely had Melody play a computer game to make noise and wake up the dormie. She got up and left and I had Melody lock her door.

You can with mods.

"Phil stop calling her here." I sent Tessa to college and moved her into a dorm with another playable. For whatever reason Phil Collensworth keeps calling the Ramirez house looking for her. I don't know how to make the game realize that she no longer lives there.

"Darnit Bethany." I had moved Bethany Lari into a dorm with a CAS Sim that met her turn ons. I was having a hard time getting their relationship up enough for her to get her first kiss. ACR kicked in and she got her first kiss, but not with my CAS Sim. It was with a dormie. They hadn't reached crush/love yet, so I hope it won't be an issue.

"Hey, there is your half-sister" I sent Centaurus Spurlock to the La Fiesta Tech shopping center to buy clothes to fill his buy clothes want. After he paid, I saw his half sister Danielle walk into the building and had him talk to her.

"Ugh, one more dorm." I had a bunch of teens hit college age at the same time. At one point, I had playable YAs in every single dorm across all three campuses. 4 of the older YAs graduated and moved into houses in Sedona, but I need to start the youngest teen/YA in the last dorm.

"YOU are the problem."

Teen Ivy Copur came to my Sim's home business and pushed another customer, then she gave the business a negative star because he shoved her back.

"Hmm, I may get some aspiration failures, but it would save me the boredom." I was figuring out if I wanted to move graduated Sims in the same house as their parents then using the Sim Blender to age up the elders meaning making them die of old age. I was getting a little frustrated with the elders because they kept rolling wants for relatives to get engaged and get married, but nothing I could fill on their lot. I did end up doing it. All the elders died of old age and I moved their graves to the graveyard.

"You're too old." said to Wanda Tinker when she rolled a want to have a baby. She is 1 day away from being an elder.

It sounds like all the elders are Family Sims. Why not change their aspiration to Romance and let them have some fun before they die?

I really don't like those Family Sim wants to control their offspring's lives. I've been on the receiving ends of such wants -- 'Go to university.' 'Get married.' 'Get a good (well paid) job.' 'Have a family.' . . . IMAO they should leave their kids and grandkids to plan and run their own lives.

To misquote Pink Floyd slightly, "Parents! Leave the kids alone!"

Elders can adopt
Relatives can get married/engaged on other lots, the want will be fulfilled.
Yet elders can easily reroll wants - like all Sims - if they go on vacation or visit a community lot.
(I am fond of my elders. I have raised all of them since birth by now - so I tend to give them bonus time by moving them into my retirement subhood. I play them less often, but they are, of course, invited to birthday/wedding/family reunion parties).

That's the odd thing, none of them were Family Sims. They were Knowledge and Fortune Sims. I hate Romance Sims, so if a Sim is, I change it in SimPE.

"Oh Shit" Andromeda got hit by lightning while learning how to hula dance and didn't make it to the bathroom in time.

I have yelled "OH MY GOD!" in my BACC, when lightning struck Benjamin Walton as soon as he came home from a community lot. Yeah, he did not survive.

Thankfully Andromeda didn't die, just peed herself even though I told her to use the community toilet.

"Wait a minute, who got the deed" Phil Collensworth had bought a vacation house in Twikki Island, and I had Andromeda and Aquarius using it for their honeymoon. It was chaotic when I had Phil and Tammy die of old age so I didn't see who the deed to the vacation home went to after he died. Looking through everyone's inventory it went to Peter, his youngest son. They live on the same lot as Peter so it was available for them to use, but the deed went to Peter. I had Aquarius buy his own vacation home so they have that after Peter goes to college.

"Oh great, well he is a twin" I moved Caelum Collensworth and the CAS Sim I made for him in college into a lot in Sedona. ACR kicked in and she got pregnant. When I checked the pregnancy scanner it said she was having twins. Aquarius and Caelum are the alien twins that Phil starts pregnant with. So I guess he has a twin gene. Even though Aquarius and Andromeda are both twins they had a single baby named Amy.

In all the eleven years I've known him with quite such a toothy smile! But they do appear to be enjoying themselves!

This at Londoste after the Double Wedding Anniversary meal out with their respective husbands, Julian and Garry. Today is the third anniversary of their double wedding in St Simeon's Parish Church in Veronaville.

I really do like to see my favourite Sims enjoying themselves: It makes me feel almost as happy as they look!

"Well Drat" Centaurus and Hydra Spurlock went to Twikki Island for their honeymoon. When they went on a tour, they both got a map to the mysterious hut. Hydra's motives were low so I sent her to the hotel room and had Centaurus go to the lot and fix the stuff to get the voodoo doll. It has been a really long time since I've played Sims 2 so I wasn't sure if the changes on the lot were saved, so after Hydra got her motives up I also sent her to the hut, but the changes were saved.

This is more what did I say while using SimPE: "Why are there no names?" For whatever reason every time I go into SimPE in Sedona there are no names, it just says unknown. I have to guess what Sim I what to do stuff with. It happened again when I wanted to check Hydra's newborn son Chris' neat points. (I always check a newborn's personality after they are born to see how many neat points they have and change it if its under 2. Sloppy sims are really annoying.)

"Are you sure you're a Knowledge Sim?" When one of my playable Sims was a teen, she went steady with a townie named Christopher. I moved him into the same dorm as her, but even though he has a Knowledge aspiration, his LTW is to marry off 6 kids. My born in game Sim is the Family Sim and she has a job related LTW. I think it may be my LTW variety mod.

Once again I'm back at 19 Chorus Court with Andrew, Gloria et al., as today is the last day of November, the day when Thanksgiving is celebrated in Veronaville. Yes it's eleven full years today since Andrew and his mum moved into Chorus Court. Eleven years I've been playing The Sims 2, and every Sim I've ever played is still alive! I think that's worth giving thanks for! I've never seen the Grim Reaper in my game.

When Gloria returns from work at 4 p.m. Andrew will serve the roast turkey for a meal with just the family and a few close friends. It may be OK for Gloria to occasionally miss a day's training, but today is a Match Day, and, as the All-Stars star player, she really has to go to the stadium and play. So Thanksgiving celebrations are on hold until she gets home.

"Ugh, why do some Sims suck at pregnancy?" I got an urge out of nowhere to try to play the Beginning of Pleasantview again, and was getting a little annoyed at how Prudence Crumplebottom's hunger bar was only going up a little bit every time I had her eat, and how fast her bladder and energy bar were going down.

"I wish there was a way to set baby gender in Sims 2" now I remember why I don't get very far in the Beginning of hoods, it gets annoying exiting without saving multiple times to get the right gender of baby. Prudence Crumplebottom kept having a baby boy instead of a girl.

"What the heck, Danielle what are you doing on their couch?" I changed back to Sedona. I had graduated Tessa Ramirez and her now husband Ethan Collensworth from college and moved them into a house in Bluewater Village. Ethan was at work and Tessa was fishing in a pond I had made in their yard, all of a sudden I saw Danielle Spurlock sitting on their couch watching TV. No one had greeted her so I have no idea why she came inside.

Some Sims will go inside and entertain themselves when nobody is home. Perhaps they are just resting after a long walk
