I imagine that they change the sheets when they change the bed. XD Too often is better than never lol.

I know some people like it for the realism and Sims 4 has the laundry and dust packs or kits or whatever, but I feel like too many cleaning tasks in game would just remind me of all the cleaning tasks I'm ignoring in my own house while playing Sims

I've seen the dust in Sims 4. I would have the most horrible house ever because I would have a million dust bunny pets. You can even feed them.

Fun fact: dust bunnies make you filthy rich (no pun intended).

I like the thought that they saw a relative or friend get something and then want it too.

I have a lazy sim teen. No active points at all. When she was born, I considered changing that, but then - it could be interesting?

I adore her.
She is too lazy to watch TV. She turns the TV off and just lounges on the sofa

Yet she is so likable and has tons of friends - as long as she does not have to do anything, she is as happy as can be.

She is sloppy too, she may need to get a neat partner.

I think she may need a career where she only has to sit down and study when she grows up.

She needs to marry a rich sim and become a kept woman.

That's caused by bad conscience for booing them earlier. "Their playing is terrible just now, but maybe they'll learn to play better with a little financial encouragement."

But studying sounds like such hard work! Can she not just lie and daydream instead?

I like to headcanon "lazy" sims as disabled. Because a sim with low active points is not choosing to do nothing; their energy runs out after a very small amount of exertion. There's nothing they can do about that. When sims redline energy they can't do anything, and this is dangerous for them, as anyone who's ever had a sim stuck in that terrible must sleep/must eat loop can attest. A low-active, high-playful sim like Dixie Land wants to do fun things like dance but she can't do it very long at a time, and as a Fortune sim also wants things like promotions that require work, so she (and her player) have to learn how to pace her life for her to be happy. She probably will never be able to live alone and still get all her needs filled.

The sims I actually think of as lazy are sims with high active points who waste them, who refuse to roll wants to do useful things, or can't be trusted to finish the jobs the player gives them, and never starts productive activities on their own. Junior Mann - high active, high playful, low neat - often plays like this, and he can get away with it as long as he lives at home because his father has absurd amounts of money. With the help of the player he can accomplish great things and become his own Mann; left to himself he generally goes for another martini.

She rolls the want for a skill point once in a while I am not worried about her - everyone loves her, so she will be looked after well by all the sims in the hood (I will make sure they look after her ).

These things are literally why I love The Sims 2. No need to repeat the answers. The game is so simple compared to newer Sims games yet it has soul. Sims 3 sims are so stiff probably to be less laggy and save animations and Sims 4 sims have way too exaggerated animations even for Sims standards. I was so pleasantly surprised when Chappell Roan said that she was a Sims 2 simmer in the middle of her concert, but on the other hand, many late 90s babies say the same.

If Sims 2 was updated introduced smartphones and relaxing and using a phone she would be bedrotting on SimTok and Simblr

I always leave them with extreme personality points if they're born and base their entire personality around it. A boy was born recently and he had 9 for active, 10 for playful, 8 for nice and 0 for outgoing. He's such a ray of sunshine, but I can't imagine what kind of character he will be. Maybe an athlete who's very charming and kind but socially awkward? For some reason Messi comes to my mind.

Actually there is a mod that allows pixels to play on their phone without using it otherwise. I'm looking for it right now. It'd be the same thing as Instagram & TikTok for pixels.

The hobby instructor showed up just as my Sim was leaving for class. Due to following my Sim and then leaving through the same exit portal, it made it look like she'd chased my poor Sim all the way to class.

One of my kid sims in a legacy I was playing ran up and hugged her dad when he got home from work. I usually don't play child sims, so I'd never seen it before and I was blown away by how cute it was!

Mrs Silke had twins in the orchard and around 2 days later, Mr Silke had alien twins. And the family is a bit chaotic at the moment, but little Daniela plays peek-a-boo with all 4 of them.

You have to zoom in pretty close but you can definitely hear it. That's why I always make my toddlers learn to walk last, the sound is just too cute!

Do they only squish when the diaper needs changing? XD

Fortunately you don't hear a "full-diaper" squishing sound, unlike in real life. Sometimes being a sim must be ideal.

Well, at least RL toddlers don't get green stink waves coming out of their butts. XD
