If you take a picture with the art career reward camera or the BV camera and there's a mirror in the picture, the picture goes kerflooey trying to reflect the mirror. But if you take a normal game camera pic, it's fine. Why it is not the same function?!
First 2 pics are BV camera (filename starts with nsnapshot) and the second 2 pics are the game camera of the same mirror over the mantle. Yeah, just wedding pictures of a bride coming down the aisle, not like that's an important memory I wanted to preserve |
Speaking of using the cameras-I've tried time after time to use those damn things, and I give up everytime-mostly because it's nearly impossible to center and focus them on the subjects. Maybe it's me but they have never worked for me.
Which is why I always use the in game camera settings to take any pictures. Those other cameras (BV, etc) are useless to me. |
My neighbourhood is apparently big on dental hygiene, all anyone wants to do is brush their teeth. Tired? Brush your teeth. Temperature too high? Brush your teeth. Giant green stink clouds surrounding you? Brush your teeth. It's not like you have three bathrooms with showers and tubs in your house.

I've had Sims charred by lightning and the first thing they do is brush their teeth. |
Drives me crazy when there's a house full of hungry sims and the only one who can cook makes one serving, usually a hamburger. Seriously, feed your children!

Or when everyone starts crowding the fridge trying to get snacks or stuff their face. |
Playables can't enter foods using custom plates to a cooking contest, but the nonplayable contestents can. Cheaters.

It's irritating when you have sloppy/lazy pixels who stand in front of the fridge snacking while others are trying to get food out to cook so they can have a meal.
"Out of my way. you slob! Stop noshing on things! I'm trying to cook supper here!" |

You are bringing up a fallacy that is applicable to, specifically, literature, when we are talking about video games and not literature. Your own attempt at a "gotcha" is also true...? If they didn't intend for anyone to create their own Sims, then no, they would not have put in the ability to do so as a game mechanic. There's no need to try and pick a fight over something I said months ago. All I said is that people can play the game as they please and there's nothing wrong with that! |
