Keep your operative systems updated or you are a security risk to yourselves. It's stupid not to.

I just accessed Sims2artists using Chrome and Firefox. Loaded fine.

It's only "stupid" if you do not know how to maintain your computer...which I do. Pretty familiar with security features and how they work, as IT/security issues are sort of my thing.

Like I said, my simming computer is the ONLY thing that is not up-to-date, and I rarely have it connected to the internet anyhow. The computer also has virus software and anti-malware software that IS kept up-to-date...for those times when I do venture on the web with it. My browser also has additional security add-ons too.

Also, I have been using the internet for 20+ years and have only had one instance of some sort of Trojan, and that was more than 15 years ago...on an up-to-date computer. And if my response sounds snippy, it's probably due to being chastised by some stranger on a forum.

Oh, and I use Windows 10 on a few other devices, and did not want that nonsense, or any of the future updates for Win 7 on my simming computer, if you're wondering why I stopped updating it.

Oh I know others can. it's just me who can't, it's frustrating.

There is also a difference between updating and upgrading.
I update when Windows asks me too, but I didnt upgrade to win10. Im not sorry about that.

After being assailed on their push to make Win10 the 'standard' by users and professionals, Microsoft made it totally optional. Updates do not include mandatory 'upgrades' now-that only came about because they were forcing so many people to 'upgrade' without their permission. They cannot do this anymore-you have to actively seek out the upgrade from MS.

I know this because when that virus scare was in full swing, I had to update my system but was worried about that issue. It proved true that Microsoft did learn a valuable lesson-not to assume everyone needs to upgrade their system, nor do they want to. I certainly did not. So when I did the updates, nothing bad happened.

They did not stop pushing windows 10 when they were supposed to, I still kept getting them and finally turned off updates. Since my 8.1 was fairly new, I had no idea how to do much on it and no one to help me. If they truly are not forcing 10 now, I'm not sure if the updates will go in the correct order if turned back on. I'm at a total loss, but I don't do much on the internet and luckily avoid problems . . . so far. I've had computers since the 80s and only had problems twice in all these years. (:

I am sorry to have to tell you this but that hood is corrupt in that the maker deleted all the sims out of it and there are still traces of them, you can see 21 unknown's when there should have only been 7 and there are still memories of at least 2 sims that can still be seen in SimPE. Plus there are more junk items that can be seen in SimPE also.

In a complete and clean and empty hood you will not get any items when running Mootild'a Hood Checker program and it is showing some memories to.

I have nounlinkondelete and NoSimLoaded. I deleted my post because if it isn't safe then no one needs it.

A lot of Windkeeper's stuff is lovely enough to take the sting out of having to visit The Sims Resource to get it.

Also, the ad timer keeps counting down in you're in a separate tab - do with that information what you will.

Yaiks, 21 is the correct amount if all EPs and SPs are used , I hope? (grimm, PT, santa, father time, hula, therapist,new year todd, plus 14 called as unknown, parrot, penguine,rc-cars and such, I think?) . I was worried myself about those some time ago, with empty environment and still got the 21, but then I found some old post by @maxon , where it was explained, and as Polgannon uses all games looked it and it had the same 21. But lol now I got worried again

Nope - 21 is correct with all EPs and SPs.

Yes 21 is the correct amount but there are no sub-hoods in the download so either they were deleted or not included when making a full EP/SP hood, still the hood is corrupted and should not be played.

It does say all EP's and SP's are needed for it but only the main hood .package is in the download.

@marka93 , yes, I took a look of that hood also when I first saw it ( I am too curious, have to see all the new hoods there are), and the lot I loaded had raining weather in it. I only got scared about the part I quoted :D

I did a HoodCheck scan on it and nothing showed up?

Also talked to the creator and he says he will upload a safe version soon
