Neder helped me fix a placement issue with my functional picnic basket, and I also added a requested early 1900s texture and fixed a typo in the description.

LilSister has edited the SimsConnection Sushi Place buffet table so that it actually serves sushi, instead of the usual Maxis buffet foods! The buffet is available for download here - and if you look through all of the downloads available on their Simblr there are also several other edited buffets available, with a variety of foods/cuisines including Indian food, Jamaican food, desserts, salads and main courses.

If you often find yourself with lots of empty folders after reorganizing, take a look at Empty Folder Nuker. Small program, no-install, and you can even install it onto the context menu (though you'll need to run as admin for that to work). I've been using it for close to ten years.

Debug make harvestable made immediate
When setting up my community lot garden with harvestable season crops I got very tired of the testingcheatsenabled debug option "make harvestable" requiring the Sims queue to be empty, and the game to be in play mode. I mean really, it's a debug option and the Sim does nothing so why does it need to pass through the Sim's queue? It should be immediate (which means it won't land in queue, it takes effect immediately), so I made a small mod for myself where that option is made immediate.

DJS Sims has a Humble Choice Hack. I find this more satisfactory than nuking him entirely.

Posted another fix on my tumblr, and since I doubt many people will see it I thought I'd mention it here in hopes it reaches those that might be helped by it.

Cyjon's debugger has missing options if your game unless your game is installed in US English, for example the interaction appraise lot will be missing. I fixed it so you get all options regardless of which language your game is set to. See tumblr post for more info and download link.

How does that even happen in the first place? It seems like sloppy practice.

Anyways, another program recommendation. If you want to see what's taking up most of the space in your Downloads folder, RidNacs is a freeware program to do that. It's ridiculously fast to load, too. Here's mine:

It's a pretty easy mistake to make, especially if your game is installed in US English. I imagine many don't even know they have to delete them, probably think SimPE does it automatically in the cloning process. But SimPE only cleans text strings, not pie menu strings. I almost made the mistake myself with the upload that MTS keeps swallowing, but I caught it because my game is in Swedish so it becomes obvious when testing.

Ah. Maybe I shouldn't be too harsh, considering I can't even bloody figure out how to use SimPE.

Anyways, here's a neat online tool I just dug up. If you can't think of just the right name, Namehunter lets you put in a list of names you like and it'll suggest some for you.

Speaking from experience it is very easy to do on the default language thing. It is a tiny little button to push, and simpe does say something about default languages when you clone. Your first assumption is that simpe takes care of it. Plus when you are modding something your first idea is to get it working, not default languages. I didn't realize it was an issue til someone tested one of mine in UK English and it was giving the old name not the new one of the item on the pie menu. Now I do my best to remember sometime in the process to hit the little button.
