So if you're anything like me, when scouring the internet for downloads, you occasionally come across some really cool looking stuff by Trapping or need one of her meshes, so you click on a download only to find the link is broken.
![]() I apologize if Trapping's stuff is uploaded elsewhere, but I can't tell you how many times I've come across a broken dropbox link and couldn't find that item anywhere else, so I wanted to share in case another simmer has that problem. |

Finally, I can post again! Thanks LFact.
![]() As usual, I was searching for something when I stumbled across something completely different and unrelated, yet amazing. So I love the SEP for Maxis counters but was always dismayed that no ever incorporated it into custom counters (Kitchen Basic, Shakerlicious, and Tranquility Kitchens--I'm looking at you). Well, over the weekend I found out from this thread that Lord Darcy made a work around, a counter OMSP with Numenor's SEP so that sims can use appliances on corners: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...ic,11366.0.html. :lovestruc Since no one's ever mentioned it whenever I've asked/searched about SEP for custom counters, I wanted to post the find. I've been waiting for days for someone else to post in this thread so I can avoid double posting! ![]() |

Trust me, you are not the only one! And again, I stumbled on it. It definitely wasn't easy to find. |
IDK if anyone else has posted this here, but I found a mod that turns Rod Humble into Mystery Man from Sims 1 and he gifts you with witchcraft objects: http://crispsandkerosene.tumblr.com...ble-overhaul-as
|
There are now cows, goats and updated hogs at Plumbob Keep: http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=240
I love the sets made by Sunni and Fractured Moonlight; the work they've done is beautiful and adds a lot of gameplay. |

I have this. It's flawless. |

Yes, but what if you don't have witches in your game? |

Agreed, SciBirg. I do have witches in my game, but it seems like a solution good for those who play more of a heavy supernatural 'hood. I suggested this on the Hacks & CC thead: I would love to see a new NPC like the one Crisps&Kerosene did, but along the lines of the "Rod Humble" leaving a random skill item, a "welcome to the 'hood" cooked meal, or random deco item perhaps? |
well actually that might not be so hard, if you think about the code exists from Nightlife to leave a random gift depending on how an outing went? why not do something similar as part of the welcome party?
|
I keep forgetting not everyone is ocd like me and MUST COLLECT THEM ALL.
Seriously, very hard for me to do Sims without all expansions and stuff packs ![]() |

I love the pets too much to give them up. Speaking of giving up, I'd probably quit playing Sims altogether if I didn't have Seasons and Business. Those two give the game so much depth and interest. And the awesome thing I found today ... beautiful milking cows! http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/...&p=94181#p94181 Also new this summer at the same site is a set of "functional fireplaces" that are fueled with branches and firewood from the site's Giving Trees. In addition to fire fuel, the trees supply tree sap, bird eggs and fruit. They are my new favorite toy in my Shipwreck game. http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/...hp?f=240&t=9239 |
Unfortunately, the page for PBK is missing-and it's not directing to it. Something has happened. I hope it's not a permanent error...
|
Same FranH. :/ Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.
|
ACHHH! PBK is down?! This is horrible, really.
EDIT: The main site is down (and I don't know why). But, here is the tumblr download site where the new cows, hogs, and goats are. The fire MAY be on there, too, if you scroll down far enough. I didn't do so and I don't remember right now. But they've been posting to this tumblr site since February, so it's possible the fire is there, or linked to an active page. http://plumb-bob-keep.tumblr.com/ |
Unfortunately the tumblr just leads to the site's links not the actual downloads
![]() |
Oh, shoot! I didn't check that. If it's not up in a little bit, send me a p.m. I downloaded those items yesterday and I'll send them to you.
|
If you guys head to sun and moon's tumblr, they have direct download links to simfileshare.
https://sunmoon-starfactory.tumblr.com/ (i hope they're all alright, too!) |
Just checked-the site is back up. I didn't think to ponder that perhaps they're based in TX. Hope they're all right if they are!
|
Why, what is happening in TX? Is that Texas? Sorry if I am being a silly foreigner.
|
Hurricane Harvey - downgraded to a tropical storm - still rough, though, it seems, according to news here.
|
Whether the site owners are based in Texas or not, a lot of server farms are. I was having trouble posting to Facebook because of the storm this morning.

I was always surprised that the Welcome Wagon didn't give any type of 'welcome to the hood' type of gifts. That's what a Welcome Wagon was originally (in RL). I found them more obnoxious in their barging into sim homes just from being greeted. Quite often new residents are low on money and having others eating their food, breaking things and sometimes making a mess with puddles and clogged toilets. I usually try to remember and lock doors to all but the residents. (:
And a big hurray for cows! Now my sims can have fresh milk to wash down all the homegrown fruits and vegies, not to mention the fish! Now I'm hungry. (: |
