I just restarted my uberhood due to needing to replace my laptop, and as the welcome wagon came by the Grunts, I learned that in this version, General Buzz Grunt has two bolts with Nina Caliente... seriously Buzz? ANOTHER Romance sim. Just like your ex. Surely this won't end badly again...

Edit- In an even more horrifying realization, I'm starting to realize that they might actually be a good pair??? They're both athletic people, and Nina's kind of a bully, just like Buzz. I'm gonna go for it- whether this ends badly is up to them...

It happened in my game and I'm loving it! His hatred towards aliens resulted in him developing a kink and later on a fetish for them. (I just used ReNuYu PortaChug and gave him a turn on for aliens.) Can't wait to find more free time to sit down and play the household again!

Well, I am using Tarlia's clean templates, where he IS a family sim. (He still has a fortune secondary, though)

Ah I just looked him up on the Sim Wiki, which says he is fortune, though with a LTW that is usually only available to Family, he apparently has a hidden Family and Romance aspiration token.

I was doing a little bug testing- in my uberhood, I had placed Olivia Riley's urn on one of the bedside tables in the Riley's apartment, but when I loaded up the Cho family, her grave was instead on the sidewalk. Blocking the slot on the mailbox where you pay rent. For the duration of the Cho's rotation, I placed Olivia's urn in Timothy's inventory to fix the glitch, and put it back and saved once I was done with the Cho's. Then I loaded the Cho's back up, and found there was no grave on the sidewalk! Until I had Vivian visit Timothy's apartment, whereupon Olivia's grave reappeared on the sidewalk, AND her urn was also lodged inside the bedside table. Sigh... Is there anything I can do about this glitch?

Graves always act like this in apartments. They vanish, they show up in weird places, if you respawn them everyone reacts as if the sim has just died - It's not worth the hassle. Send her to the graveyard.

Damn. I had hoped I could get it to work. But... I don't think the respawning thing is a problem with apartments specifically, that happens to me whenever I respawn graves (at least how I do it, by spawning the dead sim with the teleporter cat and then respawning their grave with the batbox)

No, that bit is vanilla, but it's really hard on the sims.

I just spent a while trying to figure out why on community lots my game had a new "stutter". Every couple of foot steps with follow cam, stutter, rotate camera, stutter, do anything, stutter. My initial thought was "too many sims?"

*backs up save*, I go to the lot, with max sims set to 2, just a couple of sims? same stutter. *rips out all cc*... still stuttering... while the lot now looks so empty (lol).

Odd, maybe a skin overlay? *cures vampire* Stutter reduces, but not stops.

Set all graphics options to minimum... still stuttering. So at this point I'm just switching random options to see what changes. Turns out, flip "fade objects" from off to literally any other setting? Bam! All stutter gone. Restore backup (including cc), toggle just that one option to small, go to the lot, no more stutter! Just to be sure, I force the game to bring in 25 other sims, and load the lot.. yup still no stutter (except on actually bring the sims in / out, which is somewhat normal).

That's nuts how one option can cause a massive stutter.

Julien Cooke (Popularity/Pleasure) keeps rolling wants to romance and date his friends of both genders. Even if they're happily married.

Actually all sims are on birth control by default. In a vanilla game, the decision to woohoo or try for baby is the player's; they will never do either autonomously. You only need a birth control mod if you have a mod allowing autonomous trying for baby.

I'm using a risky woohoo mod.

In contrast, "Aren't you pregnant YET?!" to several couples (one of which the woman wanted the baby, not the man.)

And that just shows how much I have not played the vanilla game. :D

Eventually, I gave up and just fudged it, gave Regan a family secondary, messed with her wants until she rolled a baby want, locked it, and got rid of the family secondary. I suspect I kinda messed up the wants of everyone in Veronaville by both turning the Summerdreams into witches and resurrecting and re-killing Olivia Monty so she can have her baby while setting up my uberhood. Ah well.

I've seen knowledge Sims with no secondary occasionally roll up the want to woohoo multiple Sims.

I know they like to get to know everything and everyone. Had my share of knowledge sims interfering on the territory of romance sims before.
