That's very nice indeed - though I have to say, as a musician myself, there are some things there that make me cringe a bit. Like the notes written on the xylophone (why?) which are, ahem, wrong and the marimba listed as a xylophone too. I can correct all that though for myself. It's a lovely set. |
Prepare to scream, cheer, dance...or whatever you do when happy 'cause seasonal farm fields have arrived http://greatcheesecakepersona.tumbl...seasonal-fields.

I'm planning to start a new hood (or subhood) specially so that I can use them! (I'm currently playing Elsewhere. Not a lot of room for farm fields in Elsewhere.) |
@muridae I have Middleground attached for my farms. http://modthesims.info/d/562124

Thanks. I'd been thinking that Middleground might work quite well for the farm fields, though I've rather been enjoying playing without any subhoods. I've got some kids that are due to go off to Uni soon, so I might make it a university town. Unless I shopping district it as a sleepy little market town and send the kids to uni at Baskerville instead. ![]() I do have a new hood planned that will have a village with farms, but I started playing Elsewhere again after getting a new Mac, just to remind myself of the practicalities of playing really tiny lots before building a city, and then I got attached to my Sims... |

Yes, ICad gave me a heads up - lovely they are. Been waiting six months for those to come. Must go over to CKP's page and say thanks. Edit - aha, a recolourer's/cloner's kit - I'm totally trying that.

Oh sure, I wasn't complaining - I was just a bit 'ummmmm....' - it's a very nice set and there's a lot of work gone into that. It'd be churlish to not appreciate it. I can make edits to textures and texts to make it make sense to me. |
I found this in the Recommendations from Youtube. Its looks cute.

Not mod related, but I found these two family tree generators and I thought these would be cool to share for those who create their own sims stories

I bookmarked that one too. I actually used to do something similar to this, I had a journal filled with different sim families and their relation to each other. I don't know what I did with that journal though :'( |
And to think, I was required by my job to attend Lego Training!

Criquette's released a terrain/road replacement megapack for rural roads on lush terrain. With bonus night-lit bridges, cliff and beach textures.

Argh lush - I want the pavements for lush. I can see myself extracting the textures and using them for the dirt terrain. Love the idea of lit up bridges. I already have Criquettes neighbourhood lights mod. |
I can't recommend the 'Rodeburg' neighborhood highly enough!
I downloaded it, half thinking, "So it will be glitchy, it'll crash on me, and I'll have to rebuild the whole darn thing and move out everyone, etc.." It did nothing of the sort. (except for one of the single pixels' house-I did have a bit of trouble with him, but moving him out solved that problem.) It's a beautiful little town (especially if you have the 'skies' and 'backgrounds' installed) with a cast of very memorable characters....the lots are very well designed, and one of the lots (the biggest house) is one of the best mansions I've ever seen created by anyone. It's definitely awe-inspiring. |
Do you have a hard time pickin names for your family? What about names of a nationality you're not familair with? Well lookie what I just found :D
https://www.fakenamegenerator.com/the-sims.php This is totally cool. |
I don't see the point of the occupations but a good idea, cheers.

I found a kiddie pool, it's deco only, BUT, the creator said making it usable is beyond him (and me too), but if the Sims 2 Gods here can make it work, have at it, would be a great addition.
