I always laugh at those HGTV shows where the parents are like "Oh no we cant get this house, our two kids will have to share rooms!!!!!"

Talk about first world problems

The house I am talking about is this one: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=451041
I have already had to put bunkbeds in as well as a crib in the kitchen.... :D

KatieBelle I love big families too! I just wasn't planning on it in this household. And I think this goes beyond "luck" and into "I broke the game statistics."

And SciBirg, you think that's bad? Try SIX in a one bedroom house! (The elder twins are in the back portion of the hall, the younger are in the living room, and I'm really not sure where the grandkids will sleep)

I mod the hell0 out of it. or I used to....

can't now but some day i'll have my new system and sims 2 will be working again and then......

but I basically take pre-made houses and study them then improve on them.

it's nothing against the creators but if there's say a 3 bed house and I can reinvent space or add onto it or add floors without ruining the look of the house too much ....

Some things just happen on accident. I was once working on a house and I removed the roof to add floors and fix a few things and that lead to me discovering how the rooms could be made a bit bigger in areas where the roof hid the space

and that lead to a neat shaded "overhang" look to the house on the sides.

so a lot of things start out one way and just evolve.

I have that house in my medieval hood. I extended it to the outhouse since that only needed a few wall pieces. Still took my peasants awhile to be able to afford the extension.

I swear those mods don't always work in my game. My sim's visitors still use the ballet bar constantly, they'll still use the teddy bear too. Maybe the load order has something to do with it?

If you are using Visitors Behave by CJ, Boiling Oil told me it needs to load after Creature Fixes by Pescado. Both alter code to do with witch cauldrons.

" Are you going to walk around in that towel all day?"
" Are you going to walk around in your PJs all day?"
" All of you get out of the room so they can woohoo!"
" Not really sure about this haircut but whatever"
" Ugh, it keeps crashing! I'm going have go through downloads AGAIN"
" I just can't decide where you'll live"

OMG I totally forgot about bunkbeds. You may have just saved my huge family!

joandsarah77 17th Feb 2016 4:26 AM

Shelf beds are even better, I've stacked 4 sims up a wall before now.

Thanks! That may be the reason, I'll have to go through my mods later.

I've always had issue with bunks beds. My sims always want to go to sleep the when they still have about a quarter left in their energy tank. Or other sims with their own assigned bed will try to sleep in it it too. I've downloaded two different bunk beds and they're both like that. I've had to just keep a really close on the sims or lock the bedroom door for everyone.

Any who, back to things I've said..... "Well he's technically your family but you can use him for your 20 loves LTW, just don't woohoo with him!"

The last notable thing I said to my game was when my CAS sim Betty Gray died while making a chef salad.
It went something like "BETTY NO! DON'T EXPIRE YET!!! YOU NEED TO FINISH MAKING YOUR SALAD!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"

One time, thanks to ACR shenanigans and accidentally resetting the gender preferences for the entire neighborhood, I once found my self-sim (who is supposed to be asexual, like me) kissing another girl. I think I said something to the effect of "Why the hell am I making out with her?"

Kligma 12th Mar 2016 1:09 PM

"Four wishes about buying stuff? You damn capitalist. 'Game for over 5 500'... Tss, I don't think so." *Brandi Broke passes the lot* "Go bother Brandi Broke instead."

"Don't you dare invite your mother home from work again."

Essa 12th Mar 2016 3:00 PM

Irma Granville-Carver is the sim who dropped by to every single household.
So at the Delorme household I put a hacked gnome in the middle of the livingroom in order to remove unwanted relationships.

Irma came near the gnome.
"Noooo, you won't steal the gnome". Well she did it, I smited her and she left.
"I hope you'll learn your lesson!"

RedSimmies 12th Mar 2016 7:12 PM

"This is what you get for burning it, now you're going to eat it. Haha... hah."

RoxEllen1965 13th Mar 2016 10:10 PM

I was just running an experiment in Testing Town which required some of the test family to be killed off.

"Wake up and die, you idiot! No, don't go back to bed! Just DIE already!!!"

yavannatw 14th Mar 2016 12:24 PM

"I wish I could fix things by bashing them for 10 minutes"

Essa 14th Mar 2016 1:25 PM

"No, no, no, no, no! You both aren't going to relax (ACR way), you're going to work!" to Godefroy and Nabila Kowalski who are the playables running the school.

Maybe they were both 'bad' and needed to be put in 'time out' .... together .... lol

HCAC 14th Mar 2016 7:10 PM

Why is it so hard to find things in these categories?

Essa 15th Mar 2016 12:04 AM

"OMG you rolled a engagement want!? I can't believe it!"

Bulbizarre 15th Mar 2016 12:16 AM

"What are you two doin--oh what the hell you're cute together. Keep going."

I love ACR at times like this.

Bigsimsfan12 16th Mar 2016 3:41 PM

"AHHH WHY ARE WE SCREAMING?"

I was trying out a new posebox with one of my teenage sims, and I had her in a pose and all of a sudden she just screamed! I have no idea why. I had free will on, and you know how they are, even when they're in poses they'll walk around doing their own thing - I have no idea what she was doing but I actually jumped up from my computer. Never heard a sim scream like that! There weren't any ghosts on the lot or anything. There are a lot of cats though? Maybe they scream after that "pounce" interaction takes place? I don't know...
