I have a babies-sleep-all-night mod and I find that if I use that, and let babies and toddlers have a late morning nap, it's easier.

@AlexandraSpears: I know exactly what you mean. And it's worse if you're a bottle-feeder. Fortunately, there is a mod for that to make them feed babies less often.

I like the nursing mod, but in my experience they take longer in nursing than to bottle feed so I went back to bottle :/

True, breastfeeding takes longer. But it's designed so they do it less often, so the baby is probably more hungry, too.

I call this lady the Neon Shopper. She spawned in that rave outfit from Nightlife with the red hot pants, pink leg warmers and purple scarf. It would be easy to change it, but she makes me laugh and besides, I can see her coming a mile away in that outfit. I think she's a little confused - she was invited to Malcolm Landgraab's wedding and showed up in a wedding dress of her own. No dear, that's not why he asked you to come!

.... My sim has a kitten, called Cthulhu. I laughed so hard after realizing what I said.

But nursing does take longer, well for most. Of course if sims had more reality in it those bottles would also need to be washed, sterilized and the formula made up not just magically appear from the fridge.

So true. Heck, realism goes out the door in the Sims so often... With my nursing mod it is possible to allow any teen or adult member of the household or the family to nurse the baby. Mommy not vailable for the moment? Let daddy take care of it, or a teen sibling. Or even the servo
But in order to get that, one would need a plugin, so it isn't a part of the standard mod.
And you'd need a special downloadable bottle that needs to go into the nursemaid's inventory.

They went to work in a bad mood, won a chance card to get promoted anyway, I sent them straight back to work half-starved and about to fall asleep, their boss got fed up of their bad work, they got sacked. The Peter Principle in action...

I always thought the nursing mod was made longer on purpose to be more realistic.

I only have the autonomous mother only version, the rest does not sit comfortable with me. This also means my cute baby bottle default gets used and seen. The only plug in I have is the cuddle after feeding, which I find a nice touch.

My sim was just hopping into her car to drive home from a community lot when her father walked by.

I have a nursing mod plus a feed-baby-faster mod, so it doesn't take as long. A lot easier than trooping to the fridge for bottles.

To complement my nursing mod, I use one by Chaavik, named ShorterBreastfeedingTime-Sims2Base.package, which should be found somewhere on http://www.insimenator.org
