Are you looking forward to it, or... not?
I love Doctor Who, so I'm going to watch it, even though it's not going to be as good without David Tennant.

And Matt Smith REALLY needs to grow some freakin' eyebrows.
I know a guy that shaved off his eyebrows and they grew back in like a week. Why aren't his growing?!

I love Doctor Who too! So yes, I am really looking forward to it! But I feel the same as you, I don't think it will be the same without David Tennant. However looking on the positive side, I loved Christopher Eccleston as the doctor and when it was announced he was leaving and David Tennant would replace him, I thought I would hate it. Then David Tennant completely won me over ( :lovestruc ) and now I prefer him to Christopher Eccleston, so Matt Smith will probably win me over too, although my friend says she's seen him in other stuff and he's not a brilliant actor.

Also, I did not notice the eyebrow nothing before....ewww, you're right.

DOCTOR WHO WAS SO AMAZING LAST WEEK. I TAKE EVERYTHING BACK ABOUT MATT SMITH, except for the eyebrows, he really does need some.

I kinda missed it last week, but I think I'll watch it tonight. I don't think I'll like him more than David Tennant, but I may be surprised. It happens.

I was going out of my mind. Luckily, I had to spend most of the time at my Grandma's anyway, so that was all cakes + ps2 games + disney movies.

Damnit, I kinda missed it because Order of the Phoenix was on instead. :/ Is there a repeat on later?

Tonight on BBC3, I think.

When David Tennant first became Doctor Who, everyone was all "BOO! NO! HE WON'T BE AS GOOD AS BIG EARS!"
Then look what he became after just a few episodes - people started calling him the best Doctor Who ever.

^ Yeah I know! But Matt Smith has a hard standard keep up (after david tennant), his first 2 episodes have been good I suppose, but I'm sure he will improve. But - I love his bow tie XD.

But I think that Karen Gillian (Amelia/Amy Pond) is really good and her and Matt make a quite a good pair.

I'm definelty going to be watching the rest of the series, so it better be good :D.

They so fit together.
And you can tell she fancies the pants off of him, and that it is going to be dead dramatic later on. :P

I think the new doctor is very good and funny and amy pond is really good too.
i think the first two episodes where really good but the thrid one was ok but it could of been better.
also i think amy likes the doctor

yeah i know they do,but the story line behind it was not that good either,i got bored watching it.
now they are diffrent colours,kids will not be scared of them now cos they look like skittle lol.

Yeah the storyline wasn't amazing. Only two people died, there was no big fight... D:
WHERE WAS THE CHASE?! Is there no running in this show anymore?

i know more people should have died and there should of been a big fight and there was not and the doctor could of killed the dalekes in that episode.
i know no chase,i think things mite have changed because in a future episode the doctor uses a gun and he said he would never use one

I thought it was pretty good, its a two parter, so I'm looking forward to the next part.

When it ended, I was like:
"OMFG, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? NO. I MUST KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, GODDAMN YOU!"
Though tbh, I was pretty unshocked by all the statues being angels. I was sort of like "Hmmm, k, that made absolute sense. They're scary anyway, they look like fucked-up zombies."

Yeah, yesterday's was really good :] My sister didn't like it though...But she's a pleb, so I don't care.
I really liked how they were pushing the limits of the angels powers with the hologram-angel and stuff.
And I loved the whole realisation that the statues only have one head.
God I want Matt Smith's babies.

Nope. I'm not gonna take that back. I love him.

Blink is STILL my favourite episode.
Before that, it was Love and Monsters.
...I spot a theme of the Doctor not featuring in those episodes as much. xD

The angels are really the scariest monsters ever. Because they just look like a statue... until you turn your back. :3

I don't watch Doctor Who. Mostly because my sister hates it and plus I was always put off. The aliens always looked rubbish. They seem a little better recently...

Love and Monsters was the one with Elton and LINDA, where Peter Kay is that abzorbaloff thing. :P

And haha, me too on the old stuff. My mum, when the first episode was on, was like "OMFG, YOU SHALL LOVE THIS, GURL!" and I was like "LOLWUT?" and she was like "IT'S ONLY DOCTOR FUCKING WHOOOOO!" and I was like "Doctor what?" and she was like "NO, DOCTOR WHO, YOU'RE COMING TO WATCH IT!"
She has a huge crush on Big Ears. And Nicholas Cage. It's like, if they were both in something together, she'd die.

Vampires are beginning to irritate me now. I remember when they were cool and sacred, and vampires only showed up when some kickass guy was kicking their ass. (*cough*Blade and Van Helsing*cough*)

I have high hopes for next weeks episode too! (:

Not that that's a bad thing - haven't we all wondered what it's like to be inside the Doctor's head? But to find his conscience is a short balding curly-haired guy with manic little eyes is a bit of a wake-up call...

I had an argument about my theory with my rl friend, Lia, and she said "NO, IT'S JUST TELLING US THAT THE DOCTOR HATES HIMSELF."
And I was just like "NO, THIS IS SOME FUCKED UP VARIATION OF THE MASTER THAT IS FLOATING AROUND TO MAKE US HUNGRY FOR THE FINALE."
And then she was like "BUT THE MASTER'S IN LIKE A VOID THING."

Argh, same here fthomas! It's odd, because I never considered myself a particular Tennant fangirl. I took Eccleston and Tennant as they came - initially disliked them for a couple of episodes until I got used to them, and then happily went along with them. This series... eh. It's slightly sad when you're rooting for the evil aliens to actually nobble the Doctor AND his assistant. The only one I actually like is Amy's boyfriend, who could do a lot better - in a different tv series, maybe.
Now, if only the BBC would seriously consider casting Philip Glenister as the Doctor now he's out of Ashes To Ashes The Master and Doctor battles would be of EPIC proportion :P

I don't dislike Matt (the new doctor) its just the actual plots of the story haven't impressed me that much. They are still watchable though, and some of the lines are quite good (:

Hmm, what did everyone think of the little teaser trailer for next week's episode? It looked very much like Van Gogh was flirting with Amy... And was that a Bill Nighy cameo I spotted? :P

I spotted Bill Nighy and I was like "OMG, IT'S BILL NIGHY!" and my mum walked in and she was like "...Who?" and I was like "Slartibartfast from Hitchhiker." and she was like "OMG, IT'S HIM!"

Awww, I actually thought Van Gogh was kinda cute, in a 'crazed artist' kinda way! ^^ But yeah, total waste of Bill Nighy. Why not have him as an alien creature? We know he can act behind CGI, after all... Comparing bowties with the doctor is kinda weird. Next week should hopefully be more fun, eh? And preferably less Amy ¬¬ *grumble grumble*

I used to be Doctor Who obsessed.. It was worse than an addiction :/
I don't really watch it any more.. not since Matt Smith took over. It's not cuz I'm too stubborn or anything; in fact I have watched quite a lot of series 5. It just doesn't seem the same show to me any more :'(
I mean they changed the doctor, the companion, the tardis, the sonic screwdriver, the daleks, the title and the theme tune.. off the top of my head. Everything I loved about the shows seems to have been changed or removed
So yehh I still absolutely adore Series' 1-4 and Matt Smith really is an amazing person for the 11th doctor.. but he will never replace David Tennant as my doctor <3

ooo One thing that really annoys me now is how people are so gullible and change their favourite doctor every regeneration and then slate the previous ones! That realllyyy gets on my nerves ¬¬

Anyway.. probably won't watch the rest of series 6 but instead hole myself in my room and get my 1-4 series boxset out fun <3
