What's for dinner?

Food, man's best friend. I've just eaten a liver-paste sandwich for lunch.

VerDeTerre 3rd Feb 2016 9:52 PM

I want a picture of that!

I'm eating popcorn with butter right now. I love popcorn and sometimes it is dinner. I don't think it will be tonight because I'm hungr. I always know I'm getting popcorn whenever I go to the movies. I want to catch Kung Fu Panda 3 again while it's still available in 3D and that will mean movie popcorn - nom nom.

OH MY Heavens! I just have to report how incredible maraschino cherries with whipped cream are....so dreamy.....!

Viktor86 5th Feb 2016 7:12 PM

Bami with curry sauce.

VerDeTerre 5th Feb 2016 7:49 PM

I had to look that up. Is it this? I love noodles.

Do you put hot sauce on that?

I've discovered that I prefer sriracha sauce to ketchup and am using it wherever I used to put ketchup.

I had to look this up. It has my vote since it's lentils and pasta - what's not to love?

I don't know why, but I can't seem to find an image to attach. I mean, I can find images, but they only show as links.

Yes, it loks something like that, although our eggs are mixed with the rest and not on top. And yes, the curry sauce we have is a spicier version of ketchup.

Today is Saturday - we usually have chicken. Southern Fried with french fries and salad.

VerDeTerre 6th Feb 2016 5:34 PM

My mom used to make pretty good fried chicken. Do you deep fry yours? My mom would roll the chicken in seasoned (salt & pepper - that's seasoning in the Midwest) and then fry it in a pan. I always loved that when I was a kid. I'm a vegetarian now. I'm making split pea soon for dinner and roasted spaghetti squash with olive oil.

Viktor86 6th Feb 2016 7:59 PM

Homemade hamburger sandwich with onions, curry and mayonaise.

XxCTxX 6th Feb 2016 11:39 PM

I was too lazy to make anything for dinner so I ate 5 cookies.

Viktor86 7th Feb 2016 9:26 PM

Rice with shoarma and garlic sauce.

VerDeTerre 8th Feb 2016 12:40 AM

Munching on herring and pretzels and chips with melted Monterey Jack. lunch was healthier, it's snack time.

VerDeTerre 9th Feb 2016 4:43 AM

I guess I'm getting a pattern. Lunch was healthy - fish, broccoli, mushrooms. Dinner? Tortilla chips and melted pepper jack cheese.

Viktor86 9th Feb 2016 4:47 AM

Chips with mayonaise and two Dutch satay croquettes.

r_deNoube 9th Feb 2016 5:18 AM

Pasta with broccoli and mornay sauce; salad of cucumbers & garbanzos.

That sounds delish. I could be a vegetarian - part time. Love my beef, fish and bacon so can't be vegetarian full time.

No, I don't fry or deep fry anything. I go to my closest Zesto's (local chicken place) and do a take out. They have a Saturday night special on chicken and fries. That's my concession to fried anything in this house

Tonight it's ham with green beans and mushy spuds. Best I could come up with from the freezer. It's grocery shopping night so eat then shop.

Viktor86 13th Feb 2016 1:43 AM

I had pizza and pizza burgers.

VerDeTerre 13th Feb 2016 2:33 PM

Pizza burgers? What are those? I had melted cheese with chips again. I guess that's all I want lately.

Viktor86 13th Feb 2016 5:19 PM

Basically a hamburger without the hamburger.

Viktor86 15th Feb 2016 6:19 PM

Small potato balls, basically round chips.

r_deNoube 16th Feb 2016 6:14 AM

Pigmeat tonight: Roasted a pork loin & I made a sauce out of mangos & the pan juices for it, and served it with sauteed kale and white rice.

Viktor86 20th Feb 2016 1:26 AM

Goulash soup.

r_deNoube 20th Feb 2016 3:51 AM

Chicken curry, lentils w/ caramelized onions, and rice.
