Any mods that allow cars to break or get dirty?
 

Hello! Does anyone know of a mod that allows cars to break down so you have to make a Sim fix them or call the repairman to do it? Or a mod that adds a feature where cars get dirty, and a Sim has to clean them?

I think cars breaking down and getting dirty happens a lot in real life, and it would be a really nice and realistic feature for The Sims 2. However, I can't find any mod like this. I wonder if anyone knows of one?

The closest thing I know of is Katy's Taxi Driver mod that lets your sim drive a taxi for pay. The taxi parks in your driveway and your sim can also wash or repair it. As far as I know it's just for the taxi car but maybe someone out there could modify it for other cars? You can download it as part of Jessa's Gift Downloads in the decription of this video.

It lets you do a lot of extra things with cars, including repairing and cleaning.

I place it in my game to test the options for repairing or cleaning it was not there, just how do this suppose to work? Is there a certain EP that is needed ?

Any documentation that I ever saw is long lost, so you'd have to play around with it.
