From the same page as 1012 Wichman Street. No additional magazines were harmed in the building of this lot.
I take absolutely no credit for the design as this time I had access to a complete set of floor plans. I will accept any and all praise, however faint, for the execution, because I had to boolprop the heck out of this beast. Each unit is the equivalent of a 5 or 6 story building. Presumably this is why the rents calculate out to a whopping $7,739-10,159.
The lot is composed of 3 detached town homes. There is very little in the way of commons, just an attractive barbecue patio. Unlike Wichman Street which was designed for young adults, all the amenities are internal. This property is intended for Sims near the top of their career track, the need for a nanny long gone. The luxurious town homes are perfect for a two-wage-earner couple who need to maintain a close circle of friends rather than make new acquaintances, and desire to entertain in style.
The first floor entry leads to the family room, a teen bedroom and bath, and fully functional garage with spare room for hobbies or gym equipment. The second floor is formal living and dining with a spacious kitchen. The third floor has a study, two bedrooms with walk-in closets, and another full bath. Each unit has one or more balconies with spectacular views.
I built this lot using whatever out of my downloads folder and having fun with my new build set. Then I yanked out the folder and filled in all the blank spots. The results are slightly less dramatic, but still pretty good for a Maxis-only building, I think. You can see in the pics, CC-free on the right and take your choice. Family Fun is required for CC-free downloaders only due to the presence of Mr. Shuffles.
CC downloaders, you still have some work to do because there were a couple items I did not package with the lot due to the extreme number of recolors.

Custom Content Suggested But Not Required:
I'm fanatical about having a good line of sight for play but I went ahead and built the awnings to match the blueprints. They look good but I don't want to see them all the time. I use the Column Hider from Simlogical. It shows in the Buy Catalog under Misc./ALL. It looks like a little golden disc. Place it on the lot in a discrete area, click on it in active mode and the columns will vanish. Compatible with AL, it works even though placed in a commons area.
Get it here.
I almost called this lot "the Miro" because the colors made me think of a Joan Miro painting. To celebrate that, I have included three of them; Singing Fish, Woman In Front Of A Mirror, and Obra de Joan Miro. Muaahaha, I have learned to recolor and you are my unsuspecting victi....wait....What? Never mind, that just slipped out. The recolors are behind "Pineapple" and "That Place Over There" per the photo. They are in a folder packed in the JacksonStreet.rar. Please place in your downloads folder before you install the lot.

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

About Me
My lots are built to be functional in-game.
My lots are built to be played in cut-away view.
While building my lots, I aim for a clean, crisp appearance while maintaining visual interest and good sight lines.
No filters, no photo actions. What you see is what you get.
I can do Maxis-match but I usually prefer to recreate something in real life.
Which is weird because I generally avoid English and RL images in Sim clothing and decor.
I had a lot more verbiage describing my philosophy of Sim-architecture and ended up sounding absolutely insufferable so to paraphrase Coco Chanel:
before leaving the house, a lady should look at the accessories and remove one mirror.
No restrictions on TOU. If you claim my stuff as your own or try to monetize it, you have bigger problems than I do.
