Church of the Great Leader

Privet, tovarishi! (That's greetings, comrades! for those of you who don't speak Russian)

I'm excited (and a bit nervous) to bring to you wonderful people my first MTS upload!
I've trolled this site for years downloading a ridiculous amount of content, mods, and whatnot, so I felt it was only respectful if I contributed also, so without further ado, here is the Church of The Great Leader!



This is based on Psychosim's fantastic Great Leader creations, including the flags, military defaults, civilian clothing, and posters, and is nestled nicely in his dystopian grunge world, Psychosim Harbour (available for download on his livejournal-- I HIGHLY recommend it! It's beaaaaautiful!) I've become a bit obsessed with the Great Leader, and while building a 1984-esque downtown in his honor, I realized there was no proper place of worship.

So, as a Russian historian and a self-proclaimed socially awkward Soviet, I felt it was only appropriate to draw from my interests to create a church fitting for an omnipotent figure, as Russian history is pretty much all about meglomaniacs. (;

This church is based on this design by Iakov Chernikov, a famous Constructivist architect:



It features Big Brother-ish "OBEY" posters (that are legally required to be in every building in my city), the infamous teal flags, and plenty of metallic grunge.

I did use the HighestAllowedLevel cheat and ConstrainFloorElevation (for the 7 shaped walls on the right of the building and the top of the tower), but other than that, no cheats were used. And I'm pretty sure it's clear of the Super Duper Hug bug thing.

Also, the furthest right tile is NOT flat; this is due to the placement of the lot in Psychosim's Harbour

I'm still figuring out uploads, so I'm sorry if some of the CC is mislabeled or forgotten-- it is NOT my intention to steal other peoples' fabulous work, and please, tell me if there are any problems. I'm sorry in advance. (;

Other than my noobish-ness, I'd love to see this in your guys' neighborhoods, with your own little Great Leaders running around! (Also, I'm extremely sorry if the pictures aren't fantastic quality. I'm having an issue with my graphics card and I can't make my in-game screen resolution higher than 800x600 for some reason. )
